【Teaching aids（教学准备）】多媒体课件、单词卡片、录音机、实物（书包）【Teaching methods（教学方法）】首先在教学中我把教师的作用定位于：课堂的组织者、提示者、示范者、参与者、评价者，尽量做到精讲重示范，学生在活动中多练习，多感知，多运用语言，以学生为主体。
针对五年级小学生心理特点和英语学科特点以及目前农村学校教学条件现状，课堂采用真实简单易操作而又灵活多样的教学方式，采用的教法主要有：“交际会话法”、“直观演示法”、“激励法”和“情景教学法”；学法主要有“直观感知法”、“活动体验法”等。

英语外研新标准（三起）五年级下册-M5U1 It’s big and light教学设计一、教学目标1.知识目标：学生能掌握单词big, light, heavy, small, medium的意思，能理解并说出It’s big and light.2.能力目标：培养学生听、说、读、写的能力。
3.情感目标：培养学生对英语学习的兴趣和热爱，鼓励学生勇于表达自己的想法并尊重他人的意见。
二、教学重难点1.教学重点：培养学生用英语表达物品的大小、重量。
2.教学难点：捕捉It’s big and light的语音、语调特点，正确发音。
三、教学过程1. Warming up插入一首英文儿歌《Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes》，学生跟着老师一起唱，通过歌曲复习身体部位单词。
2. Presentation1.老师出示一张大书包图片，问学生“Is it a small bag or a big bag？”2.引导学生注意图片的大小，再出示一张小书包图片，问学生“Is it a small bag or a big bag？”3.让学生观察两张图片，比较大小，帮助学生理解big和small这两个词。
4.再通过闪卡教授light和heavy两个词汇，教师可以通过手边的物品或者图片比较，呈现物品的重和轻。
3. Practice1.老师出示一张大书包图片，学生齐声说出It’s big and light.2.让学生自己拿一些物品到前面来，问学生的物品是big还是small，是light还是heavy。
3.游戏时间：设立比赛环节，两两组合，一人说出物品，另一人快速反应说大小或重量。
4. Production老师给学生几张图片或者几个物品，让学生选择相对应的单词进行描述，以小组为单位进行。
随后随机抽取一组分享实现展示学习成果。
5. Homework请学生回家练习讲述一些生活中的物品，如坐家具、餐具等的大小与重量，并写在作业本中，下节课上台分享。
