从智商只有75分而不得不进入特殊学校，到橄榄球健将，到越战英雄，到虾船船长，到跑遍美国......阿甘以先天缺陷的身躯，达到了许多智力健全的人也许终其一生也难以企及的高度。
在影片的开头和结尾，会看到：在广阔的蓝天下，一根轻盈而洁白的羽毛从天而降，缓缓地降落在阿甘的脚下。
我想，这，其实正是影片在暗示，在暗示我们：这个世界上，如果有人把生命看得像羽毛般纯洁、平淡而美丽，那么，这个人，一定是阿甘。
阿甘天生就注定不是一个出类拔萃的人。

但我，却依然不会为此而觉得夸张又或是可笑。
也许，曾经，有的人常常会感觉到生活的负担过重，旧因为面前的困难重重，而整天垂头丧气、郁郁寡欢。
阿甘呢，信念是这样的单纯，目标又是这样的清晰，即使先天不足，甚至是面前有穷山恶水，可爱的阿甘也绝对能够以一颗绝对平常的心视之，并最终一一跨过。

阿甘是一个弱智的，头脑简单的，想问题单纯的，目标单一，行动始终如一的傻瓜......结果，他成功了!为什么?
老子说："少则得，多则惑。
所以单纯的人容易成功。
当一群孩子要欺负阿甘的时候，他的女伴告诉他，快跑!脚跛的他单纯地听从了，没命地跑，快得超过了正常的男孩;球场上，教练告诉他："什么都别想，抢着球就跑!他又单纯地听从了，结果他跑来了大学毕业证，跑成"球星;他上越南打仗，他的上级告诉他："遇见危险就跑!他再次单纯地听从了，结果不但平安归来，还跑成了"国家英雄;阿甘善于把所有的问题都简单化，简单单纯到了只剩下直奔成功。
再聪明的人都无法完全认清世间万象，运转再快的头脑，也跟不上世界万物的变化。
所以老子要求我们"以静制动，"以不变应万变，"大智若愚......这样才能掌握世间万物，掌握我们自己。
老子认为："江海所以能为百谷王者，以其善下之。
--江海之所以能成为一切小河流的领袖，是因为他善于处在一切
溪流的下游。

"不争，并不是意味你根本不行动，而是要你不动声色，不显山露水，不作无谓斗争。
无谓的争斗，只会消耗你的能量。
逞强的行为，等于为自己树立了强敌。
盲目出动，只会让自己失去方向，迷失自己。
