Thank you very much for interviewing me for the international trading position. The tour of your faculties and conversations with you staff really impressed me and gave me a clear view of your company and the duties of the position. I’m very interest in it.

About myself: I am a English major at Shandong Agricultural University. After I graduate in June, I’d like to find a job related to English., and that’s why I apply for the position in your company. I believe that I fit nicely with the job requirements of your company. Firstly, as an English major, I have a much deeper understanding of the culture and custom of English speaking countries. Secondly, I have some background knowledge of international trading, as I chose a class of international trading and marketing in my sophomore and junior year. Lastly,I have Business English Certificate of Cambridge University and four months experience of business English translation. I believe that my work experience and educational background in English and translation will qualify me for the position.

Strengths and weaknesses: my biggest strength is tenacity. Classmates and teachers around have said I am tenacious student. I always give whatever it takes to complete a work, no matter what challenges I encounter along the way. I also have excellent social skills. I get along well with people around and have on trouble getting to know new friends. However, I also have some weaknesses. tend to be a perfectionist, and sometimes may go a bit overboard and extend my requirement to other people. Sometimes I have a hard time saying no to people, and I end up taking on more than my fair share of the work. Being a fresh graduate, I have little work experience in this field. Probably that my biggest weakness.

I’m a self-starter, highly-motivated, energetic and goal-oriented, but also cooperative and a team player. I have good communication skills and get along well with other people.
