Good evening,everyone.It's News Time again.The weather has been bad in California recently.It's so bad that it has led to disasters in the state.
Heavy rainfall in Northern California has led to a break along the San Joaquin River.As a result,about200people were forced to leave their homes at first and then another about300left their homes.Soldiers have dealt with the break but it doesn't mean those people can return home now.The water in the river has got very high and more water is coming.There is just too much pressure and a break along the San Joaquin River may take place again.
The heavy rainfall that has caused so many problems in San Joaquin County and nearby Monterey County is the result of a storm system.The storm system has affected much of Northern California.Over a24-hour period,more than an inch of rain fell on San Francisco,more than half an inch fell in the Central Valley,and the mountains above Big Sur received more than5inches of rain.The storm system is expected to become weaker on Tuesday,but many areas are still experiencing flooding and thousands of people have no power now.
