Unit 4 Ann’s Family【单元目标导学】【教材知识详解】一、课文情景描述1.英语描述:Introduce the family members2.汉语描述:介绍家庭成员二、教材词汇全解1. brother兄;弟brother指“兄”或“弟”皆可,“兄”是“elder brother”,“弟”是“younger brother”。

但除了必须分清是“兄”还是“弟”时外,习惯上不论“兄”还是“弟”,都用brother。

在美国通常不用elder brother,而用older brother。

与brother相对应的阴性名词是sister。

例句:Peter is Mary 's brother.彼得是玛丽的兄弟。

2. family家庭;家族family的意思是“家庭”,指“家庭全体成员”时,为集合名词,作主语时,谓语动词要用复数形式。

作为“家庭整体”看待时,谓语动词要用单数形式。

谓语动词无论是单数形式还是复数形式,family都应该用复数代词指代。

例句:He has a big family.他有一个大家庭。

3. father 父亲father用作名词时意思是“生身之父”,也可用于指“丈夫之父”,即“公公”,或“妻子之父”,即“岳父”。

是可数名词,用作对家人的称谓时,可视为专有名词,一般不用冠词。

也可用于比喻,一般无冠词。

例句:How's your father?你父亲好吗?4. grandfather 爷爷;外公grandfather的基本意思是“(外)祖父”,指父亲或母亲的父亲。

例句:My grandfather is going to be seventy next month.我的祖父下个月就70岁了。

5. grandmother奶奶;外婆grandmother的基本意思是“(外)祖母”,指父亲或母亲的母亲。

例句:I will go to visit my grandmother next week.下星期我要去看我的外婆。

本课时的词汇教学也是为后几课时的语言输出做出了重要的桥梁作用。

对于本单元的教学内容在整本教材中也起到了承上启下。

既是对前几单元语言结构的强化与巩固,也是对后一单元的延伸做铺垫。

2、教学内容分析本课时的词汇包括:grandfather grandmother uncle aunt mother father brother sister。

在第一课时中学生已了解了mother father brother sister四个单词。

本课将进一步学习grandfather grandmother uncle aunt四个新词,注重音、义、形的教学过程,依托This is… That’s…句型,让学生在句子中巩固和应用词汇,作到词不离句。
