1 什么是疑问句

用来提出问题的句子叫疑问句，疑问句句末用问号。

Are you a teacher?

What are you looking for ?

Are your new clothes red or black ?

It’s a fine day . isn’t it .

2 疑问句子的各类：

疑问句有四种：一般疑问句、特殊疑问句、选择疑问句、反意疑问句

1 一般疑问句

一般疑问句通常是以be , have 助动词或情态动词开头，回答时用Yes 或No，朗读时一般疑问句在通常情况下采用声调，在句子的最后一个实词上向上升，其他的部分保持平调。

Are you ready yet? ′Yes, I’m ready.

yet是虚词，句子的主重音落在ready上，升调是在ready上，后面的yet是平调。

Are you from Germany?

May I borrow your ruler ?

Have you (got) a bike ?

Does he often swim in summer ?

Will you go to the park tomorrow?

当说话者在重复某事或询问某人的时候，一般疑问句采用了降调，则表示无礼。

Is there anything you want to say before you ′die?(as one is questioning a prisoner)

临死前你还有什么想说的吗？（例如正在询问死刑犯）

一般疑问句的回答

一般疑问句的肯定回答用Yes，后接肯定结构，否定回答用No，后接否定结构

Do you like dogs ? Yes , I do . No , I don't .

一般疑问句的句式是：

Am /Is/ Was/ Were+主语+其它？

Do/ Does /Did /Will /Shall / Can / May / Must / Would…+主语+动词原形+其它？Have / Had / Has+主语+动词过去分词+其它

2 特殊疑问句

特殊疑问句是对句子中某一部分提问的疑问句。常以疑问词who whom whose what which when where how 等引导。朗读时，一般用降调。

Carl is our monitor.

Who is our monitor ? 对主语Carl提问

Ken plays basketball on Sunday.

What does Ken do on Sunday? 对谓语plays basketball提问

4 which 引导的特殊疑问句，通常用来询问“哪一个”

5 When 引导的特殊疑问句，通常用来询问“什么时候”

6 Why引导的特殊疑问句，通常用来询问“为什么”

特殊疑问句的回答

特殊疑问句，不用Yes , No 回答，而且要根据实际情况直接回答。

How old are you ?

I ‘m ten .

Whom 引导的特殊疑问句也是询问谁，但它只能对句子的宾语提问

Whom are you talking about ?

3 选择疑问句

选择疑问句是提供两种或两种以上的情况，供对方选择回答的疑问句。全句用or连接，朗读时，or前的部分用升调，or后的部分用降调

What do you want for breakfast?Oatmeal, bread or fruit?

Do you want coffee or tea?

选择疑问句由提问者给出几个选项供对方选择，一般来说，如果选项为两个或三个，那么除了最后一个选项用降调以外，其他选项都用升调。所以语调模式可能是“升降”或“升升降”。
