一、教学内容分析
本课是陕西旅游版英语教材小学五年级的上册Lesson 1的第一课时。
教材内容涉及到描述天气状况的五个单词sunny、cloudy、rainy、windy、snowy以及谈论天气的句型:How is the weather? It’s ….主要让学生掌握及句型,并能灵活运用。
二、教学目标
1、知识技能:
(1)能听懂、会说单词sunny、cloudy、rainy、windy、snowy。
(2)熟练掌握句型How is the weather?
It’s …
2、学习策略:
学生能在一定程度上主动参与教学活动,能够比较自觉地学习英语、运用英语,并在一定程度上形成自主合作的学习、有效交际、信息处理和英语思维的能力。
3、情感态度:
从学生角度出发,培养学生合作共享的学习态度和竞争意识,使学生体验用英语进行交际的乐趣,激发学生主动参与的热情,并使学生明白在他人有困难时,应该去帮助他人。

四、教学过程
Step 1、Warming up
1、Greeting.
2、Sing a song.
Before the new class, let’s sing a song.(课件展示What’s your name?) You can listen first and then sing it.
3、Free talk.
T: Hello! What’s your name?
S: My name is ….
T: Do you like watching TV?
S: ….
Teach the English slogan:I believe I can! I am the best!
4、Leading in.
Look and listen.( show the pictures on the screen.) What’s she doing? The weather report.( teach the word “w eather” three times and write it on the blackboard. ( teach the word “weather”.) Do you know how to ask the weather? ( teach the word “weather”.) How is the weather ?( teach the sentence three times and write it on the blackboard )
Step 2、Presentation
1、Teach “riany”.
Now look out of the window! How is the weather today? It is rainy What’s this?( draw a rain drop on the blackboard) It’s rain. How is the weather? It’s rainy. Do you like rainy days? I liked rainy days before. But when rain cats and dogs, sometimes it may be terrible, like this flood. So my dear friends, we should show loving hearts for the people in the difficult.
Teach “riany”.
2、Teach “cloudy”.
Now listen to me carfully . Please close your eyes and imagine . Rains go away, and clouds are coming. How is the weather? ( Draw some clouds )Look at the blackboard .Teach “cloudy”.
3、Teach “snowy”.
OK, look! How beautiful! It’s snow. (draw snow on the blackboard ). How is the weather? It’s snowy. (write it on the blackboard ). I like snowy day. I can make snowmen with my friends.
Teach “sunny” and “windy” in the same way.
Step 3、Practice
1、Read the new words a few times.
2、Play a game. “Drive a train.”You say the first word, next you
quiky one by one.
3、Play another game. FIND A FRIEND
Divide students into groups. Open your paper bags and take out the word cards and the pictures. Please look and math one by one. You should help each other. When you have finished, please hands up, let’s see who is the quickest.
OK, now I want some volunteers to play the game in front of us.
You are card babies and you are picture babies .Please find your friends quickly and stand next to him or her, then say the word loudly together.
4、Let’s chant.
(1)、(课件出示chant 有关内容)Let’s chant together.
(2)、Practise the chant in groups.
4、Play another game.“What’s wrong?”
(课件展示图片)Look at the pictures. Each picture stands for a kind of weather. But are they in the right place? What’s wrong?
Step 4、Sum up
In this lesson, we learned five new words. They are sunny、cloudy
rainy、windy、snowy. And a sentence : How is the weather? I t’s ….
Please remember the new words and sentences.
Now let’s see who is our super star. How many stars do you have?
Choos the super star.
Homework:
1、How is the weather for the whole week?
(坚持一周收听天气预报,并记录一周的天气情况。
)
2、背诵歌谣《识天气》。
