Movie Review
Fu Gui experienced the vicissitudes of Chinese history, and suffered the joys and sorrows of each family member and friend. This movie called To Live, but the whole family member was died except Fu Gui. Using “death” to reflect “live”, this is amazing. In Chinese, “live” is a powerful word----it means acceptance. We need to accept the responsibility which life endows us, and accept the happiness, suffering and misfortune. It also means courage. The courage to face difficulty and the courage to live.
She was a kindhearted woman and suffered a lot during her whole life. As Fu Gui’s wife, she had never give him up even if he had nothing after cheating by Long Er. Unluckily, both her daughter and son died.
