• The investment group that has talked for years about buildinຫໍສະໝຸດ Baidu a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Temecula will do the plans that were thought up of in 2008. Temecula Mayor Chuck Washington said that the production of the site could begin in late summer or early fall. The dealership is planned to open sometime in the summer or fall of 2013. •

Mercedes Benz South Africa said the investment was expected to provide for extensive skills development and training locally and in Germany.
The investment will provide the new plant equipment and the introduction of some of the very latest manufacturing technology. It will bring more than a dozen new technologies to South Africa in the car and production processes as well as localize more than 40 percent of the components for the new vehicle.

• German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz plans to launch three to five compact premium cars in India by 2015. • It also plans to invest Rs 350 crore till 2014 in its facility at Chakan, India. • This is for a new paint shop and two assembly lines for B- and Aclass cars, and ML and GL SUVs.

• Mercedes Benz plans to invest a further R2 billion in South Africa to build the next C-Class at its East London plant. This investment will reportedly increase the East London plant's capacity from 50 000 to 65 000 units per annum. •
