Unit 8 My Friends Part A教材分析本课时为第八单词的第一课时,类型为对话课。
具体内容为:学习新单词、词组the USA, read an email, play with Fido, look at the photos和句型What is he/she doing?/What are they doing等现在进行时单复数的区别及综合运用,另外还要学习字母tr与dr的发音规则。
此前学生在第二册(三年级下Unit 8, Part B)、第四册(四年级下Unit 2, Part A)学习过现在进行时的单数形式、第六册(五年级上Unit 2, Part A)学习现在进行时的复数形式,因此在本单元的学习中,我侧重把目标定位为:引导学生区分现在进行时的单数与复数的区别,实现对现在进行时这一语言特点的综合运用。
由于本课学习中涉及一些动词词组,此前学生也学习过许多相关词组,如:play basketball, play football, fly a kite, take a photo等,本课教学中,一方面要让已有知识提高复现率,另一方面,从学生已有知识出发,温故知新,创设情境,把机械操练和趣味操练有机结合,引导学生进行听、说、读、写的训练,在此基础上让学生说说他们的朋友,达到综合运用语言目的。
结合我校学情,我采取相对集中,适当分散难点,在运用中体验现在进行时的单数和复数的区别,结合实际,如:介绍朋友目前的现状,进行表达,突破教学的重难点。
对于字母发音的教学,我则把它放在第三课时,实现教学的完整性。
学情分析我区小学从三年级始开设英语,经过一年多的英语学习,学生积累了一定的学习经验和英语学习意识,具备了一定的知识和技能,掌握了一定的听、说、读、写能力,具有浓厚的英语学习兴趣。
五年级的学生好表现,喜欢挑战,乐于参与和表演,竞争意识强,形象思维占主导地位,记忆力强,求知欲旺盛,但往往注意时间短、兴趣又不稳定。

一、教材分析
本课的主题是My friends,语言功能是认识现在进行时以及“Do you have...?”句型及回答:“Yes, I do./No, I don’t.”。
学习任务为:What is he/she doing? He/She is ...

二、学情分析
本课的授课对象是小学五年级学生,他们生性活泼、好动,对英语学习有浓厚的兴趣,且具备了一定的英语知识和技能,如能听懂、会说并运用句型I’m…;知道想现在进行时的表达方式;熟悉write的表达及运用;能够听懂、认读What is he/she doing?句型。
因此,在本课的教学中,教师应从学生已有的知识出发,设计生动活泼,形式多样的活动,吸引学生的注意力,激活他们的思维,使其能够在积极、主动的状态下学习知识,以期取得良好的学习效果。
