Good morning, dear judges, I’m number 1. It’s my great pleasure to stand here and share my teaching plan with you. I divide my design into 7 parts. There are teaching content, students analysis, teaching aims, key points and difficulties, teaching methods, teaching procedures and teaching assessment and board design.Firstly , I would like to talk about the teaching content.This lesson is the second period and picked up from the part B, Unit 2 of Primary School English Book 1, Students Book of People’s Education Press. In this unit, the topic is about colors. As we live in a colorful life, it is close to our daily life and students are familiar with this topic. Students like drawing, they will be interested in this lesson, and this lesson will be help them to express their feelings in real life.As we mention the students, secondly, let me analysis the students.The students are from Grade three. Some of them may already learned English words in the kindergarten, but most of them are their first year to learn a new language, so they are full of curiosity and they are eager to show themselves and express their feelings.Thirdly, I would like to talk about the teaching aims. According to the new standard curriculums (2011) and the syllabus , after analyzing the teaching materials and the rule of students’growing of mind, I set the following teaching aims, which refer to knowledge aims, ability aims and emotion aims. By the end of this lesson, students will be able to read, recognize and use the words black, white, orange and brown. And understand the sentence pattern “Color it …!”They can listen and do the actions. “Stand up. Sit down. Touch the ground. Turn around.”And they can listen, ask and answer the questions “What color is it? It’s …”to practice colors; use the sentence “I see ….”to describe their beautiful pictures. By taking part in the classroom activities and working in groups, their communication and good-cooperation abilities, their creative and innovation abilities will be cultivate and enhance.After analysis of the students’characters,fourthly, the key points of this lesson will be set as these, students will be able to read, recognize and use the words black, white, orange and brown. After class they can use the key sentence pattern “Color it …!”and “What color is it? It’s …”to practice more colors. The difficulty is to use the sentences pattern in the real life.In the lesson, many teaching methods will be used, such as task-based teaching method, communicative teaching approach , direct teaching method and TPR method to stimulate students’interests in their learning English. And in the class, these methods will help the students thinking in English and develop their four skills. I also design some activities in the class to create an interactive environment for communicate and practice. Flash cards, CAI courseware, pictures will be prepared for the class. This is for five part.According to English teaching theory and language learning strategy, my teaching procedures will be lasted to five steps. Here, I will describe them in details.Step1 Warming up and revision, I will spend 2 minutes. After greeting with the students as a daily life, I will let them listen to a song and sing the song. “Color song”, then, I will ask the students, “How many colors can you hear in the song?”And let them review the words, red, yellow, green and blue. Then, teacher ask the questions, “Who is wearing yellow today? Please stand up or wave your arms.”Pupils like to sing English songs, in this song, they can review the words what they have learn last period, let them count the colors and answer the questions and interact with teachers will help them to set confidence to communicate with others in English.Step 2 Presentation. In this section, I will spend nearly 20 minutes. I will show the students some watercolors, let them review the colors “red, yellow, blue”which they have learned last period.Then tell them I will play a magic game. I put up a piece of white paper on the blackboard, teach them read the new word “white”, let them read, “white paper”, “a piece of white paper”. “There is a piece of white paper on the blackboard.”Teach “black”, using the sentence “My hair is black. My eyes are black.”Let students find the colors, black, white. Because of teaching a word cannotbe isolated in just one word. When we read or listen, we always understand the words meaning in context. So, during teaching the new words , I insert the sentence “What color is it?”which can help the students have a better understanding on the new words. Then I show the students blue and yellow, color these colors on the paper using the sentence “Color it blue. Color it yellow.”And mix them together. Students will found, the paper becomes green, let them review the word “green”. And then, color the paper red and yellow. It becomes orange. Teach students the new word “orange”, using sentence pattern “Color it orange.”By using the same way, I teach new word “brown”. Brown bear. Let the students find these colors in the classroom. For brown is a difficult word, so I will spend more time on this word and use game “hide and seek”to help students to grasp the word. This is for mechanical drills in language learning strategies. For the pronunciations of these new words, I will ask students to find the rules of pronunciation of consonant clusters, for example, “bl”, “br”, “gr”.Step 3 Practice. For meaningful practice, I will ask the questions, “What color is your pencil-case?”or “What color is your schoolbag?”Give students some examples and then let them practice in pairs. One student asks and his desk mate answers. And I will ask them show their colorful crayons. I say, black, black, stand up! The students ho has black crayons will stand up! Then let them practice the rhyme following CAI courseware. Then I will show them a picture without colors, ask them “What color is the sun, the flowers, the river and the trees?”Deliver the big different pictures to each group, Let them discuss and speak out the colors. All the activities are collected here aim to help students practice the new words and the sentences. The students will enjoy the ways and learn English happily .Step 4 Consolidation and extension. Here, I will show some beautiful pictures of flowers, snow mountains, seas, animals and other things which all comes from nature, and tell students we live in a colorful world, we all like the life and love the nature, and we should protect our own nature. This step for emotion education in the content.Step5 Sum-upWhen we watch the colorful pictures of nature, a music of “color song”as a background music will be played which had played at the beginning. Students andteachers sing the song, “red and yellow and pink and blue…”At the end of the class , I use the rainbow which is from the song to conclude this period. And PPT shows the homework.At last , I would like to talk about my blackboard design. The blackboard design is lay the emphasis on the new words and the new sentences , which can let the Ss know what we learned today. On the top of the middle, there is the title. In the middle, there are the key sentences “Color it …”and key word colors. Also, I put some colorful stars on the left side of the board which can use as the prizes to arouse the students’desires to learn better. The function of stars also like teaching assessment tools in teaching procedures. This On the right side of the board there is a words bank that can put many words which they have learned before.That’s my teaching design, thank you for your listening!。

小学英语说课稿Unit 2《Colors》Good morning,my dear judges. I’m the first competitor. It’s my great honor to stand here to talk about my teaching idea. My topic today is Unit 2:Colors.I will begin my presentation from the analysis of teaching material.This lesson is chosen from PEP English book,the first semester of grade 3,Unit 2.The main topic of this unit is about colors.This is a vocabulary class,students are supposed to learn some new words about colors and use these words to express their favorite color.This lesson is important because it is the second section of this unit,it help students review the first section they have learnt and make foundation for the next section.This lesson also enlarge students’ vocabulary and improve their speaking ability.A fter analysis of teaching material, let’s move on to the next step:analysis of students.My students are in grade 3.They are just begin to learn English ,so they are very active and curious about the new language.As they are veryyoung,they like drawing and definitely happy to color the pictures in the class.This topic can arouse their interest and I will combine this interesting topic with new knowledge to make them acquire knowledge in a relaxing atmosphere.As for students in grade 3 are lack of patience and concentration ,so I will use different activities to enrich the class and will pay more attention to attracting their attention.On the basis of the idea of New CurriculumStandard,teaching aims consist of three teaching aims,so I set following aims:First one is knowledge aim:Students can master the new words and can understand the order to color a picture. The next one is ability aim:Students can understand the order and do action correspondingly and they could improve their speaking and listening abilities at the same time. The last one is emotional aim:After this class,students can foster their interests and desire of learning English and fond of taking part in kinds of practical activities.Now,let’s move on to the next part----analysis of teaching key & difficult points.The key point is students will learn some new words and can use it correctly in their daily life.The difficult point is student can improve the confidence of learning English and not afraid of speaking English. The following part is about the analysis of teaching methods and studying methods:I will use following teaching methods:Task-based teaching method,besides Situational teaching method and TPR.As to embody the main body of students to the study methods,I will ask students to do game in groups and cultivate their cooperation ability. Then,let one talk about the teaching aids.To interest my students,I will use multimedia,color picture,color pens and some color cards.Next,please allow me to describe the most important parts of my teaching design----teaching procedure.This is a vocabulary class,so I will use PPP teaching model. Step.1 Lead-inAfter greeting my students as usual,I will show them a video clip of a cartoon named “Calabash Brothers”When they finished watching ,I will ask them two questions:How many Calabash Brothers are there in our video?What color are they ?After they give the correct answers,I will introduce today’s topic:Unit 2 Colors.The purpose of this step is reviewing the colors we have learnt in last English class and combining with the video,the class would have an active beginning and create an ease and interesting atmosphere for students.Step.2 PresentationIn this step,I will show my students 3 pictures to lead in the new words.There are 3 photos of a panda,a cat and a squirrel.Then ask my students to describe these picture. When they describe the first picture as a lovely panda,who is eating bamboo.I will tell them the color of panda is white and black.Then I will write these new words next to the color card on the blackboard and ask them to read these words after the tape.Showing picture about lovely animals they familiar with can interest the students and they will find out this lesson is very interesting and eager to join in our teaching activities.Step.3 PracticeIn this part,I will organize two activities .Activity 1. Ask students to do a brainstorming:try their best to give the names of colors and try to find out these colors in our classroom.For example,they may find out the black board is black and the wall is white.Activity 2.Coloring game.I will divide my students into groups of 4 and then give each group a page chosen from “Secret Garden” and a lot of color pens.Then I will give the orders,such as “Color it green”and “Color it blue”.They should d o it correspondingly.And after they finished,I will choose 4 groups come to the front stage to show their pictures.Which group’s picture is most beautiful will win a reward.This step mainly use different activities to remember the colors and they also sue their imagination to create beautiful pictures.Step 4.ProductionFinish “Let’s do”part on page 18.I will ask the students to listen to the chant and fill in the blanks on the screen. _________,stand up._________,sit down._________,touch the ground._________,turn around.Then I will divide my students into 4 groups and each group has their own color.When I show the black color card ,the first group should stand up and when I show the color brown ,the fourth group will turn around.Which group doesn’t catch up will be punished to sing a song for other students.This activity can impress their understand of these color and cooperation ability.Step 5.Summary&HomeworkI will make a summary about what we have learnt today and ask my students to read today’s mew words for the last time.This summary can help them understand the core knowledge of today’s English class.They will have a homework after class:use the colors we have learnt to draw a picture of spring.The purpose of this homework is to improve their operational ability.。
