注意一些连词这里所说的连词有一些表示转折的连词,but,however,yet,though,never the less等,另外还有一些表示并列关系的连词如and,also,as well as,neither... nor,either ...or,not only...but also,on one hand....on the other hand等。

AWhat’s your favorite weather? Do you like sunny or rainy da ys? I like sunshine very much, but I also enjoy rain.3 . It can make me feel quiet. On rainy days, I like listening to music and doing some reading, or just looking at the rain and daydreaming I think it’s a good way to relax when it rains.5 . I hope you can feel happy no matter (无论) it rains or it’s sunny.B1 . Being angry doesn’t really solve much, but what people do when they feel angry is important. The goal is to calm down and try to solve what is bothering you. This is hard for some kids and adults, too. Instead of calming down, some kids might keep getting more and more upset until they explode like a volcano!2 Their anger might be so strong that they lose control of their temper. They may act in ways unacceptable and hurtful. People may say that someone has trouble controlling their temper.3 Some kids might get so angry that they scream at their parents, break something, or even worse, hit their brothers and sisters.4 However, it’s not OK for a kid to do any of those things. Kidsdon’t want to act in this way, but sometimes angry feelings can be hard to manage. So what to do? Well, the good news is that kids don’t just have to keep making the same mistakes over and over again. 5 .Imagine your temper as a puppy inside you that needs some training. The puppy is not bad-it will probably turn out a great dog. It just needs to learn some rules because, right now, that puppy is causing some problems to you.CAmericans’ WeekendsWhat do American families usually do on weekends? 1 . Where do you usually decide to sit? Have you ever really thought about the reasons for your decision?2 But is this really true? Well, some researchers say it is not. In fact, shy students often choose the back row because it is fare away from the teacher and they don’t want to answer questions. At the back, students probably won’t speak much, but in big classrooms, it can be hard to see the board and hear what the teacher is saying. This could be the reason why students who sit here often get lower grades on tests and exams. For students with poor eyesight or hearing, a seat at the back of the classroom is not a good choice.3 However, they like watching and listening rather than joining in. These students are usually also very good at taking notes. Next time you miss a class, borrow notes from someone who sits here. On the sides of the classroom you will generally find modest and thoughtful people. Thesepeople usually get good grades in school and are interested in learning.4 Then the statistics (统计数据) say you probably like your teacher. You probably also have a good relationship with your classmates. Caring, outgoing, and cheerful people usually sit in the middle. They are normally serious about learning and feel disappointed with low grades on tests and exams.5 Students who sit here usually want to discuss things with the teacher and are often very interested in the subject. They want to be in the best place to see and hear everything the teacher does and says. The only problem with sitting here is that it can be difficult to see and hear what other students do and say in class.
