介绍海上钢琴师的英语作文
介绍海上钢琴师的英语作文英文回答:"The Legend of 1900," also known as "The Pianist on the Ocean," is an enchanting cinematic masterpiece that transports viewers to a realm of boundless imagination. Released in 1998 and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, this Italian film has captivated audiences around the globe with its evocative storytelling and unforgettable protagonist. The film follows the extraordinary journey of 1900, an abandoned infant who is discovered on the grand piano of a transatlantic ocean liner. Raised by a compassionate crew, he develops an unyielding bond with the piano, becoming a legendary pianist known only to the passengers of the ship.1900's talent transcends the mundane, enchanting shipmates and passengers alike. His music is infused with a profound understanding of human emotions, eliciting laughter, tears, and everything in between. Captivated byhis melodies, the passengers find solace, love, and escape within the musical sanctuary he creates.Yet, despite his extraordinary gift, 1900 faces an internal conflict. The boundless ocean that surrounds him becomes a metaphor for the unknown and the potential adventures that lie beyond the ship. He yearns for more than the familiar confines of his piano and the ship that has been his home.In the film's climactic scene, legendary jazz trumpeter Max Tooney challenges 1900 to a musical duel. Tooney represents the allure of fame and recognition in the wider world outside the ship, while 1900 embodies the allure of a simple life dedicated to his craft. As the two virtuosos engage in a breathtaking musical battle, their improvisations intertwine and clash, representing the internal struggle within 1900. Ultimately, the pianist chooses the path less traveled, remaining on board the ship and forever entwined with the ocean that nurtured his soul."The Legend of 1900" is more than just a film about a pianist; it is a poignant exploration of the human condition. It delves into the themes of identity, freedom, and the choices we make that shape our destiny. And through the unforgettable character of 1900, the film pays homage to the power of art and the transformative capacity of music.中文回答:《海上钢琴师》,又名《1900》,是一部迷人的电影杰作,带观众进入无限想象的境界。

海上钢琴师 The Legend Of 1900 review by efilmcritic
海上钢琴师The Legend Of 1900 review by efilmcritic关键字:英语电影影评During the beginning of "The Legend of 1900," I kept think how much it played like an old fable, and it was none to my surprise that when I looked at the press kit that it clearly states: "A FABLE BY GIUSEPPE TORNATORE THE LEGEND OF 1900." It is to my disappointment that I announce that this is only the second film by Tornatore that I have seen, the first being in my opinion, the best foreign film I've ever seen, "Cinema Paradiso." You'd think that after having seen that film even years ago and having loved it, that it would have motivated me to search out more of his work. With "1900," it at least gives me the reminder of the other possibilities out there. With something to the effect of the name Danny Boodmann T.D. Lemon Nineteen-Hundred, Tim Roth takes it all on, and couldn't have been any better. Born and left of the ship, the Virginia, 1900, as he was later named for having been born in that very year on that very ship, was found by Danny (Bill Nunn), an African-American coal room worker. He took the child on as his own until he met his death several years later by accident. 1900 picked up on playing the piano (the film was once entitled "The Legend of the Pianist in the Ocean") and had the ability to create flowing and haunting melodies at the sweep of his fingers; a true ivory tickler you might say.1900's story is told via flashback and reflection by Max (Pruitt Taylor Vince), a friend of 1900's of whom he spent many years with on the ship, and played the trumpet along side him in the jazz orchestra. At first this notion seems a little contrived, been there done that-ish, but like the music, begins to flourish and flow. There's a lot of narration along the way; one might think the story would have been better told straightforward, as it happened, but either way I'm quite content. Max narrates the story in a kind of noir-ish malaise of the old 40s and 50s films, but you get over it. Or maybe not; I could have lived without it but stuck with it hoping for progression, and I got it.Time and years build up, and 1900 has become a prolific pianist, not to our surprise, but as the current time is at stake we learn too, that our dear old Virginia is about to be blown up with tons of dynamite (sorry kiddies, not any of the homemade dynamite we're so familiar with after a certain "Club" everyone's obsessing about). Pretty much, the rest of the story is just that, Max recounting what it was like to know him, what happened while he knew him, and ideas about why he (1900) never left the ship; not even once.I dunno if being a fable consistutes some of the coincidences such as Max happening to go into the onlymusic/pawn shop to sell his trumpet that has the old pianos 1900 used to play. Or that it happens that Max plays a tune that was created by 1900 that somehow triggers the old shopkeeper's memory to bring out an old matrix record that is the same tune, and happens to be the only recorded version of any of his work. Take it or leave it. It felt like more of a pleasure to enjoy this film than to overly criticize it. Some skeptics may feel that it's too large of a pill to swallow, and won't go for it, but I found it to be entrancing and throughly delightful. The music, all by Ennio Morricone, is beautiful. I loved how scenes would just be time after time of 1900 pounding out notes. It reminded me of "Tango" in the sense that you were watching it more for its dancing and cheorography than its storytelling; "The Legend of 1900" was interesting mostly for its musical capabilities.Fine Line will hopefully give a little extra shove or nudge to push the performance of Tim Roth for Best Actor; I certainly wouldn't mind him along the likes of Richard Farnsworth and Kevin Spacey. He takes a modest take on a role of which is hard not to like. Who doesn't want to champion 1900 along as he out jazzes Jelly Roll Morton (an excellent Clarence Williams III). One of the singly funniest scenes in recent cinema included at show down, and the use of cigarettes. It caught me quite by surprise and kept me snickering until several scenes thereafter.Pruitt Taylor Vince was also very good, starring at you with his astigmatic eyes which so effacaciously graced us in "Heavy." Maybe a little over used as far as certain emphasis goes, his humane presence had a more positive influence on the film. Billed as only The Girl, Melanie Theirry was a beauty to stare at, but I knew from the instance I saw her that she had be a super, or at least a model. (I was right, it was confirmed in her bio in the press kit.) However, I still wish there would have been a little more development between her and 1900.It's hard for me to compare the only other work of Tornatore's that I've seen with this, so it would be easier not to. I have much more of a keen interest to go back and research his earlier films, and look at the juxtaposition of them againist his award winner ("Cinema Paradiso"), all the way up to his most recent, and first film in English. All in all, I think the attitude of watching a "fable" is what will eventually make up your mind and feelings of this. It kind of seemed sweet, even a little touching to go along with it. Tornatore seems to enjoy making films, and I seem to enjoy watching them. The cinematography by Lajos Koltai, and the production design by Francesco Frigeri were added bonuses. As opposed to "Titanic," never once did the ship itself look or appear fake, or filmed against a greenscreen. Although both films may have a corny feel to them (example: Roth and Vince slip and spin around sitting at the piano as the ship rocks), one focuses on the story and the characters --"Legend", while "Titanic" uses it's name to only to underscore the ship itself and involve us with a shameless and silly romance between two very fake characters. One uses its possesions, whilst the other uses its front as a shadow for something else wholly less interesting.。

It wasn’t the same with his fame. His fame had just be known on the land. So even the inventor of jazz came to compete with him. Of course he won. He became even popular.
And then 1900 turned into an excellent pianist. He plays piano with no guide. His music is special and free. But he is lonely.
He played the piano for the people on board. And every time when the ship got the east coast of the USA, he would cried” the America”. But he had never left the ship together with the people on board.

海上钢琴师、阿甘正传英文影评
At the end of the film, the talented piano player full of legendary color left the world with Victorian in the explosion. I don’t know how to describe the feeling when the ship exploded. Maybe it is sad, or something else.
He spent all the time on the ship named Victorian where he was born and grew up. The ship is his world. Every time people all gone, he was surrounded by deep solitude. He has no friends, except the music. He is used to the life which is full of his own elements and the land was too big for him, so he rejected to stay there for even one minute. He is afraid of being alone; he scared of being deprived of his music, which is his only friend. He will pay anything to leave himself away from the land, including his life!
那个世界好重,压在我身上。你甚至不知道它在哪里结束,你难道从来不为自己生活在无穷选择里而害怕得快崩溃掉吗?

It's a story about a pianist called 1900.He showed his talent for music since he was very young.Because he didn’t have an identity, he h ad to stay on board and never had a chance to get on the land.So in the end,he ended up alone.英文影评He's a man so brave, that he can play the imaginary piano when exploded with the ship he was born, lived and died in. Yet he's a man so scared, that he cannot face the infinite city life we are living everyday. He's a man so intelligent, that he can play the piano as if he has four arms (or I'd rather say, he hasGod's arms). Yet he's a man so stupid, that he chose to gone with the wind while he's other choice could be marrying a beautiful woman and having a child. He's a man so perceptive, that he could use his music language to describe exactly others' feelings. Yet he's a man so insensitive that he'd rather disappear after a gentle kiss on his beloved while she's asleep than unburden himself and tell her "ILU".But one thing is for sure: this man is a real artist--pianist. Only a man like him can dance with the piano in a terrifying storm. Only a man like him can give up the first two bouts of a duel, and beat the competitor entirely, convincingly, potently in the last bout. Only a man like him... can have such a beautiful story to tell...This man is Danny Boodmann T.D. Lemon Nineteen Hundred, who is also known as simply "1900". A man never existed. He has never set foot on land in his entire life. No ID. No passport. No Visa. No parents. No birthday. Nothing in the world belongs to him except his music. So he played. For the first class guests. For the third class members. For the girl at the window. For the darkness of the night. For the heartbeat of his own. For the sea-- his eternal home.He had once wanted to get off the ship. To meet his girl and to hear the voice of the sea, as he always wanted to. He hugged friends goodbye and waved and went down. But his pace became slower and slower, and finally stopped. As he described at the end of the movie:"Nineteen Hundred: All that city. You just couldn't see the end to it. The end? Please? You please just show me where it ends? It was all very fi ne on that gangway. And I was grand too, in my overcoat. I cut quite a figure. And I was getting off. Guaranteed. There was no problem. It wasn't what I saw that stopped me, Max. It was what I didn't see. You understand that? What I didn't see. In all that sprawling city there was everything except an end. There was no end. What I did not see was where the whole thing came to an end. The end of the world... Take a piano. The keys begin, the keys end. You know there are eighty-eight of them, nobody can tell you any different. They are not infinite. You are infinite. And on these keys the music that you can make is infinite. I like that. That I can live by. You get me up on that gangway andyou're rolling out in front of me a keyboard of millions of keys, millions and billions of keys that never end, and that's the truth, Max. That they never end. That keyboard is infinite. And if that keyboard is infinite, then on that keyboard there is no music you can play. You're sitting on the wrong bench. That's God's piano. Christ! Did, did you see the streets? Just the streets? There were thousands of them! And how do you do it down there? How do you choose just one? One woman, one house, one piece of land to call your own, one landscape to look at, one way to die... All that world is weighing down on me, you don't even know where it comes to an end, and aren't you ever just scared of breaking apart at the thought of it? The enormity of living it? I was born on this ship, and the world passed me by, but two thousand people at a time. And there were wishes here, but never more than fit between prow and stern. You played out your happiness, but on a piano that was not infinite. I learned to live that way. Land? Land is a ship too big for me. It's a woman too beautiful; it's a voyage too long, a perfume too strong. It's a music I don't know how to make. I could never get off this ship. At best, I can step off my life. After all, I don't exist for anyone. You're an exception, Max, you're the only one who knows I'm here. You're a minority, and you better get used to it. Forgive me, my friend, but I'm not getting off."He didn't get off. That's what he said and he did. As I mentioned above, he died with the ship, in the explosion. I believe at this point of the movie, no body can hold their tears back.By the way, this movie is Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, who is also the director of Nuovo cinema Paradiso and Malèna. Some people say the legend of 1900 is the director's compromise to Hollywood-style-commercial movie. Well, I know nothing about this kind... It's a excellent movie. Much I could say.《The Legend of the Pianist on the Ocean》电影英文简介:1900, an abandoned baby which is taken care by one of the crews in the ship, Virginia. 1900 was the year which the crew discovered the baby, thus, the boy was named 1900. The crew dies several years later and at that time, 1900 is entirely isolated. He is a genius and he knows how to play the piano without being taught. He gets his own style and wins the applause of passengers. However, he isn’t happy at all. What he is searching for is love and care, yet he cannot find them. In this essay, I will examine how 1900 suffers from loneliness and how he is afraid of changes. The only companion of 1900 is the piano; he gets used to expressing his feeling via music. Yet, can the piano share with him? Can the music be the tonic for his loneliness? The poor guy has no choices; he was born to be lonely. Maybe it’s his fate. 1900 always wants to attract people by his absorbing performance. Though there is, in fact, nearly no conversation between them, they even don’t know one another. He still wants to be surrounded by the crowd. 1900 doesn’t want to be alone; he enjoys the time being accompanied by people. This can explain why he feels so disappointed, frustrated and he stops playing the piano when the crowd leaves as the destination is reached. 1900 has to become solitary again! One of the passengers admires his talents very much and tries to talk to him. The farmer shares with him about his misfortune and loneliness. 1900 knows the feeling better than anybody does as he has been suffering for 27 years! He hasn’t disclosed his feeling to others; he just says that he gets a friend sharing the similar situation. It’s a paradox that on the one hand, he wants to speak out his own feeling, which has buried in his heart for a long time, and shares with people; on the other hand, he can’t pluck up his courage to mention his situation in front of people. Maybe it is of no use to tell others or 1900 doesn’t want anyone to sympathize him.Loneliness makes him afraid of contacting strangers, lack of confidence and shy while communicating with strangers. When there’re two strangers coming to inform him the competition, he runs away and hides himself. Poor 1900 is afraid of being hurt. With no doubt, loneliness adversely affects hispersonality. On the shipboard, a young, pure, beautiful girl has caught his attention. He loves the girl and wants to send her a gift. He doesn’t know how to initiate the conversation. 1900 practices again and again in the cabinet. He is too timid to send the girl his record. His personality makes him miss a chance. 1900 is very unhappy and breaks the record. Again, he just keeps his mouth shut and never shares with the others. It is obvious that he no longer wants to share, he is too tired to find opportunities to air his feeling.Changes make 1900 scared, he wants his everyday life remains the same. For 27 years, he stays on board and never treads on land. Although his crews always persuade him to get off, he is reluctant to try. Several months after the girl had left, 1900 suddenly wants to tread on land. His reason is that he wants to listen to the voice of the sea as he can only hear it clearly on land. However, it’s true that he wants to find the girl and expresses love to her. 1900 hides his feeling again. Yet, when he is on the halfway of the ladder that leads to the land, he stops. He stands there to look at the city in front of him. 1900 gives up treading on land and returns to the ship.1900 can live safely on the ship as he can see the ends of the ship. Many years later, as the ship is too old and it needs to be exploded to pieces. One of the crew knows that he will be still on the ship. He tries to find him. Before his death, 1900 tells the reasons for not treading on land when he’s walking down the ladder. “ I’m not afraid of what I can see, I’m afraid of what I can’t see”, 1900 is frightened as he can’t see the end of the city. “ Where is the end of the world?” Moreover, there’re only two thousand passengers on broad at a time. It’s a fixed number and it will not change. It can explain why 1900 prefers staying on board. He takes the piano as an example, “ There are finite keys on the piano”, and he can make “infinite music” out of it. However, the world is a piano th at is too big for him. There are infinite keys in the world, how can he make music out of it? It implies that there are so many changes in the world; he can hardly face the challenges. “There are thousands of streets in the city…which one should I choose t o die?” It shows that 1900 is scared by the ever-changing world and he is too tired to choose. He thinks that he can’t adapt to the changes as “ the world has passed me (him) by”. In addition, fame, fortune, girl can’t make him tread on land. 1900 chooses to die on the ship rather than getting off. It can be seen that how deeply he is afraid of changes. The marvelous life of 1900 makes him become the legend.Light music is a generic term applied to a mainly British musical style of "light" orchestral music, which originated in the 19th century and had its heyday during the early to mid part of the 20th century, although arguably it lasts to the present day.The style is a less "serious" form of Western classical music, featuring through-composed, usually shorter orchestral pieces and suites designed to appeal to a wider audience than more serious compositions. The form was especially popular during the formative years of radio broadcasting, with stations such as the BBC Light Programme featuring a playlist largely consisting of light compositions.Occasionally known as mood music or concert music, light music is often grouped with the easy listening genre, although this designation is misleading.Although mainly a British phenomenon, light music was also popular in the U.S. and Europe, and many compositions in the genre are still familiar through their use as film, radio and television themes. This article is about the song by Britney Spears."Hold It Against Me" is three minutes and forty-nine seconds long.It is adance-pop song that blends pulsating industrial and trance beats with elements of grime.Musically, "Hold It Against Me" features industrial beats, a dubstep-influenced breakdown and a final chorus with elements of rave.Initially, the single was going to be released in the United Kingdom on February 20, 2011, but the date was moved up to January 17, 2011, due to overwhelming demand."Hold It Against Me" has received positive reviews from most critics.Britney steps into new territory and pushes the boundaries of dance pop once more. The once picture-perfect pop star has returned and is offering fans the new, worn-and-torn and yes, stronger than yesterday BritneyI introduce one song, its name is "Shining friends",song by 2R.It is very orphean,I like it very much. And it is about the friendship. It tell us that When we are in difficulty, the friends can give us a nice smile,we also can get the help from our friends.Besides, the rhythm of this song is very melodious and sweety,it give me a good mood while I listen to it.All right, try it,I am sure that you will like it,especially the girls, that is my gift for all of you!At last ,What I want to say is,my dear teacher and claamates, you are all of my friends, let us help each other whenever we had need it!I love listening to the music. It makes me relaed. 介绍海上钢琴师的英语作文100词
介绍海上钢琴师的英语作文100词英文回答:The Pianist on the Ocean, directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, is a visually stunning and emotionally resonant film that explores the themes of isolation, loneliness, and the power of music. The film follows the story of 1900 (Tim Roth), an abandoned baby who is found on an ocean liner and raised by the ship's crew. 1900 possesses an extraordinary talent for playing the piano, and as he grows older, he becomes a renowned musician who captivates audiences around the world. However, despite his fame, 1900 chooses to remain on the ship, never venturing ashore.Throughout the film, Tornatore uses a rich visual palette and evocative sound design to create a sense of isolation and longing. The ship becomes a microcosm of the world, with 1900 representing the artist who is both celebrated and condemned for his unwillingness to conform. The film also features a haunting score by Ennio Morricone, which perfectly captures the film's bittersweet tone. The Pianist on the Ocean is a profound and moving meditation on the human condition. It is a film that will stay with you long after the credits have rolled.中文回答:海上钢琴师,由朱塞佩·托纳多雷执导,是一部视觉震撼且情感共鸣的电影,探讨了孤立、孤独和音乐力量的主题。

Lose your sea legs?’ This sentence witnessed the beginning of their friendship, as well asthe first glance after their long separation.Max didn’t insisted on 1900’s getting off Virginian, f or he understood the reason 1900 chose to gone with the wind.I gradually understand the power of fellowship between two men, impressive and sensitive.Solitude is his fate floating on the sea.1900 was born on the ship, grew up there and spent his whole life there, only with a piano.Nothing in the world belongs to him except his music.Remember the scene? When Virginian pulled in to the shore, the cabin came to a total silence all of a sudden, leaving 1900 behind, sitting in front of the piano, gloomy and lonely. What a poor guy!Nothing could rescue him from loneliness, and he was an abandonee rather than a genius.1900 eventually refused to get off the ship.He said, ‘There are eighty-eight keys on a piano, but there are millions of keys, millions and billions of keys outside the ship, never ends.’ That’s what he said and did.You may confuse about his choice, but I do not. There are millions of people who hold their dreams deep in heart without carrying them out and they are the ones 1900 represents. However, we wer e born on God’s piano, thus we are doomed to suffer frustrations and create the mostelegant piece of music in this tiny world. No one was born genius, but we can forge ourselves a conscientious and earnest one.Do remember that all the compromises are for the sake of our dreams.

It also teaches me the importance of helping others and spreading happiness through my talents, just like Danny did with his music. If you haven't watched "The Piano Player on the Sea" yet, I highly recommend it. I'm sure you will enjoy the beautiful music, the exciting adventure, and the inspiring message it conveys. That's all for now. I hope you liked my essay about my favorite movie. Thank you for reading!篇2My Favorite Movie: The PianistHave you ever watched a movie that made you feel really sad, but also inspired you? That's how I felt after seeing the film "The Pianist." It's a war movie, but it's not like other war movies with lots of fighting and explosions. Instead, it shows how hard life was for one man and his family during World War II.The main character is Wladyslaw Szpilman, a famous Polish pianist and composer. In the beginning, he has a good life inWarsaw with his parents, siblings, and two nieces. Wladyslaw plays piano on the radio and everyone enjoys listening to his beautiful music. But then the German Nazi army invades Poland in 1939 and everything changes. The Nazis didn't like Jewish people like Wladyslaw's family. They made lots of unfair rules and took away the rights of Jewish people. Wladyslaw and his family had to move into a cramped ghetto area of the city. They didn't have much food or heat, and they were scared all the time of the Nazi soldiers who patrolled the streets.Despite the terrible conditions, Wladyslaw tried his best to keep playing piano and writing music to give people hope. He played underground concerts for his neighbors in hiding places. Music was his way of keeping his spirit alive during those dark times.Things kept getting worse, though. Wladyslaw's whole family was captured and sent to the concentration camps, those awful Nazi prisons. Wladyslaw himself barely escaped deportation several times, helped by brave Polish friends who hid him. The scenes of the Nazis violently rounding up people were so disturbing and upsetting to watch. At one point, when the war was almost over, Wladyslaw was starving and all alone in an abandoned house in the bombed-out ruins of the city. Just when it seemed he might not survive, a surprising thing happened. A kind German officer named Wilm Hosenfeld found Wladyslaw and quietly left him food instead of turning him in to the Nazis. This small act of compassion and humanity helped save Wladyslaw's life.By the movie's end in 1945, the war was finally over. Out of his huge family, Wladyslaw was one of the only survivors. Despite losing nearly everyone and everything he loved, he began rebuilding his life through his talent and love for piano music. The final scene showing Wladyslaw playing a beautiful piano concert made me feel hopeful after all the suffering he endured. The story of "The Pianist" is incredible because it's a true story based on Wladyslaw Szpilman's memoirs. I can't imagine having to go through what he experienced, with your whole world turned upside down through no fault of your own. The movie doesn't glorify war, but shows its harsh realities and human costs. It made me appreciate how lucky I am to live in peace. At the same time, I was inspired by Wladyslaw's quiet strength, resilience, and determination to keep playing piano nomatter what obstacles he faced. His music became a form of spiritual resistance against the Nazis' cruelty and injustice. Even in unimaginably difficult circumstances, he never lost his humanity or hope.I think everyone should watch "The Pianist" because it's an important story that teaches us to be compassionate, stand up against discrimination, and persist in following our passions no matter how hard life gets. The movie had some violent scenes that were hard to watch, but they showed just how terrible the Nazis were to Jewish people and other groups. I'm glad there are movies like this that help educate people about the real horrors of events like the Holocaust so that hopefully things like that will never happen again. After seeing Wladyslaw's powerful example, I want to work harder to be a kinder person and appreciate the freedoms I have.I also have a new respect for the ability of great music and art to inspire people and spread important messages during difficult times. Most importantly, "The Pianist" reminds me to always hold on to hope, even in the darkest of days. I'll never forget this beautiful yet heartbreaking movie.篇3My Favorite Movie: The PianistOne of my all-time favorite movies is "The Pianist." It's a really powerful and moving film that tells the true story of a Polish-Jewish pianist named Wladyslaw Szpilman during World War II. Even though the movie deals with some very heavy topics like the Holocaust, I think it's an important story that everyone should learn about. The movie starts out in 1939 in Warsaw, Poland, just before the Nazis invaded. Wladyslaw, who everyone calls "Wladek," is a famous pianist who plays concerts and works on radio broadcasts. He has a nice life with his family in the Jewish ghetto. But then everything changes when the Nazis take over. The Nazis started making lots of unfair rules and laws against the Jewish people. They forced all the Jews in Warsaw, including Wladek's family, to move into a few small areas of the city called "ghettos." They couldn't leave and had to live in cramped, dirty conditions without enough food. It was absolutely awful.Things kept getting worse for Wladek and the other Jews. The Nazis started violently attacking them and sending many off to concentration camps. In one really scary scene, Wladek is outafter curfew and has to hide in an abandoned house to avoid being caught by Nazi soldiers.Eventually, the Nazis decided to empty out the ghetto entirely. They rounded up all the Jews, including Wladek's whole family, and sent them off to the camps. This part always makes me cry. Wladek managed to escape at the last minute by sneaking out of the ghetto through the city's sewers and tunnels. But his entire family was taken to the death camps. For the rest of the war, Wladek had to keep moving from one hiding spot to the next to avoid being captured. He lived in constant fear, hardly ate, and saw so many horrible things. A few times he was given shelter by kind Polish people who risked their lives to protect him. I'm always amazed by people's bravery and compassion, even in the darkest of times. One of the most powerful scenes is when Wladek ends up alone in an abandoned house. He is starving, exhausted, and has lost all hope. But then he sees an old piano in the house. Even though he is just skin and bones, he gathers what little strength he has left and begins playing piano beautifully. The music gives him the will to keep going. That part always gives me chills. Finally, in 1945 the war ended and Wladek was free. He was one of the only members of his entire family to survive theHolocaust. In the final scene, a Polish friend helps get Wladek a job playing piano again on a radio broadcast. As he starts playing, the camera shows Wladek with tears in his eyes, but also a sense of hope and perseverance. It's such a powerful and emotional ending.I first saw The Pianist when I was maybe 9 or 10 years old. Some parts were definitely scary and upsetting to watch. But my parents explained the important history behind the story. They said we have to learn about events like the Holocaust so that hatred and violence against others because of their religion or race will hopefully never happen again.Even though the movie is set during a very dark period, I think it ultimately has a uplifting message about the resilience of the human spirit. No matter how terrible the circumstances, some people were able to hold onto their humanity, creativity, and hope. Wladek's ability to keep playing the piano and pursuing his passion in the midst of so much oppression and genocide is really inspirational to me.The Pianist is an extremely well-made film on a technical level too. The acting is phenomenal - Adrien Brody definitely deserved the Oscar he won for playing Wladek. The directing, cinematography, and musical score are all excellent as well. Ihave so much respect for the filmmakers for tackling such a difficult but important subject matter.I know the movie is pretty heavy material, especially for a kid. But I actually think it's good to learn about serious historical events like the Holocaust at a younger age in an age-appropriate way. It helps teach lessons about racism, xenophobia, bravery, resilience, and human rights that will stick with you. The Pianist definitely had that effect on me.Whenever I'm going through a tough or scary situation in my own life, I think back to scenes of Wladek persevering through things a million times worse while still holding onto his humanity and his art. If he could get through that hell on earth, I figure I can handle my own challenges too. His story reminds me to appreciate the freedoms I have, to stand up against injustice, and to pursue the things I'm passionate about no matter what obstacles get in the way.The Pianist isn't necessarily an easy or fun movie to watch. But it's beautifully crafted, tells an incredible true story, and has so many powerful life lessons. It's definitely one of the most impactful and meaningful films I've ever seen. I think everyone, kids included, should experience it. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of time afterwards to process everything anddiscuss the movie's important messages and themes. Movies like this have the power to open our minds, Hearts, and change the way we view the world for the better.篇4My Favorite Movie: The PianistHave you ever watched a movie that made you feel really sad but also inspired you? The movie "The Pianist" did that for me. It's based on the true story of a brilliant Polish pianist named Władysław Szpilman who survived the Holocaust during World War II. Even though the movie deals with a very dark time in history, I think it's an important story that everyone should know. The movie starts out in Warsaw, Poland in 1939 before the war begins. Władysław is a popular rad io pianist and is living a comfortable life with his family. But then Nazi Germany invades Poland and everything changes. The Nazis start rounding up Jewish people like Władysław and forcing them to live in a ghetto surrounded by walls and barbed wire.Life in the ghetto is terrible. There's not enough food or medicine and people are constantly being deported trainloads to Nazi concentration camps. Władysław and his family have to share one tiny room and deal with hunger, sickness, and fearevery day. A t one point, Władysław's whole family gets deported except for him. He has to go into hiding to avoid being captured. For months, Władysław hides in different places around the ghetto, trying not to get caught by the Nazis. He doesn't have much to eat and is always scared someone will turn him in. A few kind people risk their own lives to shelter him for short times. Finally, the ghetto gets demolished entirely by the Nazis after an uprising. Władysław is one of the only survivors left. After the gh etto is emptied out, Władysław has to fend for himself in the ruins of Warsaw. He sneaks around abandoned buildings, scrounging for any food he can find. In one intense scene, he's nearly caught and executed by Nazi soldiers. Akind-hearted German officer named Wilm Hosenfeld spares his life and even helps him get a place to hide. For over a year,Władysław lives in hiding until the Soviet army finally liberates Warsaw at the end of the war. There are a few scenes in the movie that really stuck with me. One is when the Nazis are emptying out the ghetto and deporting all the residents. There's a little boy all alone, crying in the street while carrying a teddy bear. A Nazi officer just calmly walks up and shoots the boy point blank. It's a heartbreakingscene that shows how cruel the Nazis were, even towards innocent children.Another powerful scene is when Władysław is starving and weak in the ghetto, but he hears a german officer listening to a recording of him playing the piano on a scratchy record player. In that moment, Władysław is reminded of his passion for music and why he needs to go on living, despite the horror surrounding him. It's a touching reminder of how art and beauty can persevere even in the darkest of times.Although the movie is full of tragedy and suffering, I was inspired by Władysław's courage, resilience, and will to survive against all odds. He lost his entire family and went through unimaginable hardship, yet he never lost hope. By some miracle, he managed to outwit the Nazis and make it through the war alive because of his determination and the few people who helped shelter him. What I took away most from the film is how senseless hatred and discrimination can lead to such profound suffering and loss of human life. The Nazis regarded Jewish people as subhuman solely because of their religion and ethnicity. This racist ideology allowed them to commit genocide through starvation, shootings, gas chambers, and other cruel atrocities. Millions of innocent souls perished just because of small-minded prejudices.Yet the film also shows that even in the midst of evil, there were some glimmers of human decency. The few people who risked their lives to shelter Władysław showed great moral courage. Officer Wilm Hosenfeld put his own life in jeopardy to protect Władysław and was later imprisoned in a Nazi camp himself. This proves that hatred can be overcome by brave individuals who make the choice to look past stereotypes and see our shared humanity. In the end, The Pianist is an unforgettable movie that everyone needs to experience. Even though it depicts one of the darkest chapters of human history, it's a powerful reminder of why we must reject racism, antisemitism, and all forms of discrimination. It shows that the human spirit can persevere through immense cruelty and suffering through courage, art, compassion, and our shared hopes for a better future.Despite its heavy subject matter, I think this is an important movie for kids to watch too (perhaps with some parental guidance for the most graphic parts). It can teach powerful lessons about the consequences of hatred, the importance ofbravery and human decency, and the enduring resilience of the human spirit even in the face of unimaginable adversity.篇5My Favorite Movie: The PianistHi there! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite movie called "The Pianist." It's such an amazing and powerful film that really moved me.The Pianist is a true story that takes place during World War II in Poland. It's about a brilliant Jewish pianist named Wladyslaw Szpilman. When the Nazi Germans invade Poland in 1939, Wladyslaw's life is turned upside down.At first, the Nazis force all the Jews in Warsaw, including Wladyslaw and his family, to leave their homes and move into a rundown area called the Warsaw Ghetto. They are crammed into this tiny space with thousands of other Jews. There is barely any food or clean water. It's a really scary and sad situation.Despite the awful conditions, Wladyslaw tries to stay positive. He continues playing the piano whenever he can to lift people's spirits. Music is his passion and brings him joy even during the darkest of times. I admire how he never gives up hope.Eventually, the Nazis decide to empty out the ghetto by sending all the Jews to concentration camps. This is when things get really intense and terrifying in the movie. Wladyslaw is separated from his family and has to go into hiding to avoid being captured. For many months, he hides out in different places all around the ruined city of Warsaw. He has to be absolutely silent and still at all times so the Nazi soldiers don't find him. Sometimes he goes days without food or water. I can't even imagine how scared and hungry he must have felt.Despite his sufferings, Wladyslaw's spirit is never broken. He keeps reminding himself that as long as he is alive, there is still hope. The actor who plays him, Adrien Brody, does such an amazing job showing his strength and determination to survive. My favorite part is when Wladyslaw is given shelter by a kind Polish man named Wilm Hosenfeld. Even though it's extremely risky, Wilm decides to protect Wladyslaw and provide him with food. To me, this shows that there were still good people during this tragic time who were brave enough to help others. Their friendship is so touching. In the end, Wladyslaw does manage to survive the Holocaust against all odds. The final scene where he plays piano for the firsttime after the war always gives me chills. It's such a powerful moment celebrating his resilience and love of music.I think the most important message of the film is to never lose hope, even in the darkest and most difficult situations. Wladyslaw's courage and passion for his art kept him going when most people would have given up. That's why he is such an inspirational person. The Pianist really opened my eyes to the unimaginable horrors that millions of Jews suffered during the Holocaust. It's a hard movie to watch at times because of the disturbing scenes of violence and cruelty. However, I'm glad I saw it because it taught me so much about that tragic period in history.I have so much respect and admiration for Wladyslaw Szpilman after learning his incredible story of survival. Whenever I feel sad or scared, I think of how he persevered through even worse circumstances with bravery and grace. He's proof that the human spirit can overcome anything as long as we don't abandon hope. The acting, music, and overall production values are fantastic too. Adrien Brody definitely deserved to win the Oscar for his raw and emotional performance as Wladyslaw. The scenes of him playing piano so beautifully are mezmerizing. And I'll neverforget the haunting images of war-torn Warsaw - it looked like a nightmare come to life.In my opinion, The Pianist is a cinematic masterpiece that everyone should see. Yes, it's long and heavy at times. But it has so many important lessons about remaining strong during our most difficult struggles. It celebrates the resilience of the human spirit in a truly powerful way.I think this incredible true story will stay with me for the rest of my life. Whenever I'm tempted to complain or feel sorry for myself, I'll remember poor Wladyslaw hiding in ruins and going days without food or water. Yet he never stopped dreaming of better days. His unwavering hope and love for his art is what allowed him to survive the unimaginable nightmare of the Holocaust. If an ordinary person like Wladyslaw could get through something so horrific, then I know I can overcome any obstacles in my own life. The Pianist fills me with inspiration to work hard, appreciate the good people around me, and cherish all of life's little joys and beauties like music. It's one of the most profound and moving films I've ever experienced. So those are my thoughts on the brilliant movie The Pianist. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend you check it out.Just be prepared - it's an unforgettable and emotionally draining viewing experience. But it's also uplifting in its portrayal of the unbreakable strength of the human spirit against all odds. I'm already looking forward to watching it again soon!篇6Title: My Favorite Movie - The Piano Teacher on the OceanIntroduction:Hi everyone! 海上钢琴师英文总结English Answer:The legend of 1900, the pianist who was abandoned as a baby on an ocean liner and raised by the ship's crew, has been immortalized in the enchanting film "The Legend of 1900." Set against the backdrop of the 20th century's tumultuous events, the story unfolds through the reminiscences of Max Tooney, the ship's aging trumpet player and 1900's lifelong friend.1900 displays an extraordinary gift for music from a tender age. Despite having no formal training, hisintuitive touch and uncanny ability to improvise captivate all who hear him. As the ship sails across the Atlantic, 1900 becomes a legend among the passengers and crew, his music serving as a beacon of hope and solace amidst the chaos of the world. However, 1900's passion for music is intertwined with adeep-seated fear of disembarking the ship. He believes that if his feet touch land, his music will lose its magic and he will be confined to a life less extraordinary than the one he has built aboard the ship. This fear holds him captive, preventing him from experiencing the world beyond the confines of the ocean liner. As the years pass, 1900's life becomes inextricably linked to the rhythms of the ship, the ebb and flow of the ocean, and the faces of the passengers who briefly inhabit his musical world. Among these passengers is a beautiful woman named Betty, who becomes the object of 1900's affection. Despite their mutual attraction, Betty's life on land and 1900's life at sea keep them separated by an insurmountable obstacle. The arrival of the opulent ocean liner SS Virginian presents 1900 with an opportunity to confront his fears and finally step onto solid ground. Jazz legend Jelly Roll Morton challenges 1900 to a musical duel, an event that could propel 1900 to international acclaim. However, as the moment of truth approaches, 1900's fear consumes him. Herealizes that his music is not meant for the concert halls of the world but for the boundless expanse of the ocean. In a poignant climax, 1900 chooses to remain on the ship, bidding farewell to the possibility of fame and the love of his life. As the ship sinks into the depths of the ocean, 1900 and his music become one with the sea, his legend forever etched in the hearts of those who were touched by his extraordinary gift."The Legend of 1900" is a cinematic masterpiece that explores the themes of fear, isolation, and the indomitable spirit of the human soul. • 【原文】That keyboard is infinite. And if that keyboard is infinite, then on that keyboard there is no music you can play. You are sitting on the wrong bench. That’s God’s piano. Christ! Did you see the streets? Just the street-there were thousands of them. How do you do it down there? How do you choose just one? One woman, one house, one piece of land to call your own, one landscape to look at, one way to die. All that world just weighing down on you. You don’t even know where it comes to an end. Aren’t you ever just scared of breaking apart at the thought of it? The enormity of it.

• 【原文】All that city… you just couldn’t see an end to it. The end? Please? Can you please just show me where it ends? It was all very final on that gangway and I was grant too in my over coat. I cut quite a figure, and I was getting off, guaranteed. That wasn’t the problem. It wasn’t what I saw that stopped me, Max, it was what I didn’t see. Do you understand that? What I didn’t see. In all that sprawling city, there was everything except an end. There was no end. What I did not see was where the whole thing came to an end, the end of the world. Take a piano, hmm? The keys begin, the keys end. You know there are 88 of them. Nobody can tell you different. They are not infinite. You are infinite. And on those keys, the music that you can make is infinite. I like that. That I can live by. You get me up on that gangway and you rill out in front of me a keyboard of millions of keys, Millions and billions of keys that never end. That’s the truth, Max, they never end.
