3、except \besides\but prep.

except除……之外，不包含在内，指从整体中除去一部分，相当于without或minusbesides, 除……之外，还……，包括后者在内相当于with或plus We all went to the park except Tim.( Tim没去) We went to the park besides Tim.( 我们和Tim都去了)

except for 介词短语，在说明情况后在细节上加以修正。
