Lesson 1 第一课

It's January. Bill is getting ready for trip to Canada. 一月，比尔准备去加拿大旅行。

I'm leaving for Canada this Sunday. 我这周日要去加拿大了。

What clothes should I take with me? 我应该穿什么衣服？

You'd better phone Ted and ask him. 你最好给泰德打电话问问。

Bill dials the number. 比尔拨了号码。

Hello, this is Ted. 你好，我是泰德。

Hello, Ted. This is Bill. 你好，泰德。我是比尔。

I'm calling to ask what clothes I should take to Canada. 我是来问去加拿大应该带什么的？

What's the weather like in Canada? 加拿大天气怎么样？

What do you usually wear in winter? 你冬天一般穿什么？

It's January now. And It's very cold. 现在是一月。非常冷。

I usually wear a sweater or a jacket in my house. 我在屋里通常穿毛衣和夹克。

But I wear a hat, a scarf, gloves and a warm coat when I go out. 但是我出门的时候戴帽子、围巾、手套和穿厚外套。

What else should I take with me? 其它我还应该带什么？

You are going to stay here for five months. 你要在这待五个月。

You need clothes for spring and summer. 你需要春夏的衣服。

Such as jacket, trousers, sweaters, shorts and T-shirts. 比如夹克、裤子、毛衣、短裤和T恤。

You can also borrow some of my clothes if you need. 如果需要的话你还可以找我借。

Bill is going to Canada and is going to stay there for five months. 比尔要去加拿大待五个月。

He is going to stay at Ted's house. 他要待在泰德家。
