A: Hi, Belly. Have you bought the train ticket for the winter vacation? B: Not yet, what about you, Maria?

A: Yes, of course. I bought a ticket yesterday. I’m so happy the Spring Festival is around the corner. Do you know the origin of Chinese New Year?

B: Yeah, a little. Spring Festival starts from the beginning of the Spring.

It’s the first day of lunar calendar. It’s the most important and popular festival in China.

A: Yeah, Spring Festival is also my favorite, because I could have a long holiday.

B: It’s really true. By the way, what do you usually prepare for the festival?

A: In my family, we need to clean the house and buy enough food in order to guarantee having a good holiday.

B: Yeah, we will do the same thing and I am always the one who is asked to do the cleaning.

B: First, of course, we must have a big dinner. All people in my family make dumplings together. After that, we see the Spring Festival gala.

Travel and Transport

A: Hello, Belly. How are you?

B: Pretty good. How are you going, Maria?

A: I’m well. There are only 2 weeks left for the winter vacation, do you have any plans?
