今天上午，我在实验中学礼堂参加了“希望之星”英语风采大赛。
这学期第七周，我们一些英语成绩优秀的同学在校内进行了初赛筛选，我有幸被选中。
参加这次比赛的每个年级有五个人，分为三个组：初一与初二、初三与高一以及高二与高三，选在本周日上午进行比赛。
早晨，我在七点半到达实验中学操场，七点五十入场，八点开始比赛。
主持人用英文介绍了比赛的流程，我们抓阄，我是六号。
自我介绍以后，比赛正式开始。
第一个环节是演讲。
我的演讲早就练过了，但是仍然有些紧张。
不过等到我演讲时，我把紧张情绪统统抛到九霄云外了。
上了台，打完了招呼。
我开始演讲，整个演讲进行了不到三分钟，我很庆幸没有出错。
第二个环节是猜词。
这个环节难度很大。
一个人猜，一个人描述。
这个环节也是最容易拉开差距的。
我的搭档负责描述，我来猜。
但比赛时，我的搭档有些紧张，说话有些语无伦次，所以最后，我们的得分相对来说低一些。
我的搭档比较后悔，觉着自己表现得不好，我忙安慰她。
这点分也有可能拿回来，只要后面表现得好一些，追回这些分也是不难。
下面是听录音接唱英文歌曲。
我很幸运，碰到了我会唱的歌曲，得到了满分。
才艺展示上我一展我的歌喉，唱的是奥运会的主题曲《我和你》，得了第三名。
最后公布的是各位选手的分数，由于在猜词环节落下的分数太多，我只得到了第三名。
但是只要参与，就会有别样的人生。
日后这样的比赛多得很，一定要发挥出自己的最佳水平才行。
