I believe the ANC Youth League could help us solve this problem. Thirdly, the white people could live anywhere they liked in South Africa. They owned almost all the land although they were fewer in number than the black people. They had the best schools.

They had the best doctors. They made the laws. We wanted to have the same rights and to be equal with the white people in our own land. Those are the reasons why I joined the ANC Youth League.
