May 13th, 2008 Tuesday Sunny Today we had a class meeting, because an erathquake hit Wenchuan Sichuan on May 12th, 2008. Most houses fell down in some villages. Many roads and bridges were destroyed. People even couldn’t use their telephones or mobile phones to have communication with their friends or family members. Some p[arts of Sichuan suffered from it and thousands of people were killed, hurt, lost or trapped. Our teacher asked us to give donations. Our classmates donated all of our pocket money. It is true that many natural disasters can’t be prevented, but we can do our best to help the people in the disaster areas. We all think if everyone shows his love, the world will be better.

A serious earthquake attacked Wenchuan and some other areas in Sichuan Province on May 12th,2008. Most of the buildings fell down and a lot of people were homeless. Thousands of people were badly hurt or even lost their lives. The people in disaster areas need food, drinking water and medicine.

All the world, including the whole china felt sad about the serious disaster. Actions are taken actively to help the people in need. Our school organized all kinds of activities to raise money for disaster areas. Both teachers and students were so generous that finally we raised 250,000 yuan totally.

I think we Chinese should face the disaster bravely. Only if everyone gives out a bit of love, the world will become more and more beautiful.

A sudden snowstorm attacked some parts of our country before the 2008 Spring Festival. It brought us lots of trouble. Thousands of people were trapped in the stations, in the airports and on

the highways. In such a heavy snowstorm, a lot of people suffered from the loss of their homes. What was worse, many people were hurt, even lost their lives. After the news was reported, people all over the country showed their great love in different ways. Some gave food, clothes, drinking water, medicine and everything necessary, and some even gave money to them. As students, of course we should try our best to help those people in trouble.
