人们对英语都特别感兴趣、用英语去彼此交流，然而进入大学之后却 不如此，和现实又相差太远。

进入大学有一节英语课是自我介绍。我的稿子其实早
就写好了，其实我们都一样，怕她会抽查，只是应付一下。
现在想想我的第一次还真有趣，同学都举起了手，不敢举
词该怎么拼。
• 我赞同这句话“我们从幼儿园到小学、 初中、高中甚至博士学位。一生有多少宝 贵的时间浪费在英语学习上如果能学的出 来还算值得，但关键的问题是我们在这十 几年的英语学习过程中培养了一批大量只 会做选择题但英语听不懂说不出的怪胎”。 回忆起我们这些年的付出再回头看看这句， 不觉得心里寒酸吗？然而又有多少人能意 识到这一点。
抄完之后又疯狂地整理。最疯狂的还是操练它。
疯狂地操练
• 我在操练上用的时间最多，因为练好发音
不是一两天就能够做到，找到了好的坏境 之后我每天起的都特别早，拎着口袋在那 里反复模仿疯狂操练，在那里除了我每天 疯狂地操练带来的成就感之外还有一额外 成就感就是喊走了那一对一对的情侣。现 在想想还觉得自己有点缺德。说起来那个 环境确实有趣。早上还有很多人在看书， 读课文、背单词，然后一到晚上就成了两 人聚会场所。更搞笑的是在教室。为了能 够让自己在周年庆典演讲上感情饱满并放 松我有几次是在空荡荡的班里的讲台上， 很投入地进行着演讲，隔壁班路过时脑袋 从门边伸了进来，纠结了大半天才走。
Campus Life
• 在我初中时有幸接触到李阳的疯狂英语。那时已是初三，所以到高中
才慢慢和它真正接触。想起高中心中还颇为懊悔，因为除了我在那个 石凳上疯狂过几个星期之外我几乎没有多少时间将心思放在在他上面。 面对那些功课除了忙碌还是忙碌，就像有很多人说的那样都在瞎忙活。 只有那几个星期是我记忆最深刻的。每天同学们起的都特别早，看语 文、背单词，而我干的则是跟课本毫无相干的事。当时我拿的是一本 高一下学期李阳主编的《 Learn High School English with Teacher Li 》 和一台复读机，顺便买了四节电池。宿舍的指导姓陈，我们都叫他陈 指导。陈指导一般都是五点半才打开宿舍大门，那几天我就像发了疯 似的。早上一大清早，大概五点左右就要求陈指导开门，我在门外喊 了好几遍，可以说是苦苦哀求吧！它才磨磨蹭蹭给我打开了大门，这 样连续好几天，后来他干脆将钥匙给了我。门打开之后我又将钥匙送 回去。口袋里只有一本书和一台复读机，我把音量开到最大，照着书 中的句子读了起来，而且跟着复读机一遍又一遍地复述着很绕口的句 子。听完一遍之后倒退回去又听了一遍，这样往返着。最后一篇文章 的发音听烂了就随手把它扔在一边，拿起课本进入了癫疯状态。就这 样我喊了一个星期，这一个星期我想我应该很难忘记。。。。。。好 像有几次是晨练。我拿着抄满英语的小笔记本在操场上边跑边喊，声 音很大，同时总感觉有人在我背后说闲话。后来我就在那一段赛道不 知走了多少个来回。
因为学校上网网速特别慢所以那一下午我一直在网吧查找、
下载。其实下载奥巴马在芝加哥的演讲也是巧合。我先是
找李阳的演讲视频教程，找了大半天感觉都很杂乱无章，
后来在相关搜索里才发现美国总统奥巴马的演讲。看了奥
巴马的演讲视频之后当时就被他的发音所震撼，然而最令
我耳目一新的是他在芝加哥的演讲。就因为下载这篇花了

可避免的，我们口语小组正商量着，当谈 到演讲这个话题时其实我早就对这有了想 法，但又恐惧面对那么多观众。商量接近 尾声的时候我还是决定了壮壮胆去尝试一 下。

为了找与演讲有关的资料我花了整整一个下午的时间。
高，然而机会总是留给那些自高奋勇的人。他们都被点了
上去。最后还有五分钟，老师问了一遍还有谁时，最郁闷
的是旁边的同学都推荐我，弄的我是脸红脖子粗，最后声
音越来越大，我确实是被迫无奈。我慢慢地举起了手，现
在感觉当时举手那个动作时确实很猥琐。

面对六七十人知道第一次上台是什么感觉吗？一个字
“抖”。在个钟头。如果单单地只有中文而没有英文的话很难
看懂，又要去找中英文字幕。我把它下在了手机上，在寝
室里一有时间我就塞上耳机拿出来看。因他的演讲语速非
常快再加一些根本无法看懂的单词，最后没办法我只有把
它抄在纸上。看一句，抄一句；写一句，翻译一句。用A4
纸这大的纸张抄了十几张，一篇稿子抄了我好几个晚上，
全身都在抖，而且没停过。最后连我手中的稿子都在抖动。
走下讲台，在我回到座位上时情不自禁地抖的更厉害了，
直到放学在回寝室的路上我才开始慢慢地
不
抖了。

Why Should we spend so much time and energy on English ?
• 我喜欢英语，这已成为不可否认的事实。然而我又讨厌英语。我讨厌中国的
传统学习方法。在这十几年甚至几十年的英语学习过程中，中国人并没有把 英语作为一门语言附着于实践中，而是以研究它的理论为核心，如果一位游 泳专家整天去研究腿与腿之间的距离或手与手之间的尺度比例而不去尝试一 下，那么毫无质疑他第一次跳进水中肯定会窒息而死，即使中国在教育方面 从整体上看已经做出了不朽的贡献并取得了巨大的成就，但也还存在着许多 问题。这些问题已经向整个民族蔓延开来。然而随着教育体制的改革，随着 一些风云人物的出现中国的教育事业的局面开始向好的一面扭转。中国开始 了教育制度的改革。改革并不是很彻底，这就使得一些国人在“聋哑英语” 上苦苦挣扎。我之所以将它称之为“聋哑英语”，一是他没有生命力不能很 流利自如地表达出来和人们沟通、交流；二是因为他就算学的再精、再棒， 充其量也只能做做选择题，看懂一篇文章而已。一遇见老外之后就全身发麻， 不知如何是好。有胆量的人还敢走上前去聊上两句，最多也只能聊上两句。 至于后面的情形我想肯定不太乐观。脸红脖子粗这不排除没有，而绝大多数 人到最后都发展成“Yes ，me too ，Baby!”因为绞尽脑汁实在想不出这个单
