RGR
Hello, everybody! My name’s RGR. It's my honor to speak here, and I am very glad to share my topic with you. Then today I'd like to talk something about Chinese Traditional Culture.
BEIJING, May 30 (Reuters) - From faking marriage certificates to get honeymoon discounts in the Maldives to letting children defecate on the floor of a Taiwan airport, Chinese tourists have recently found themselves at the center of controversy and anger. When a story broke recently that a 15-yearold Chinese boy had scratched his name into a 3,500-year-old temple in Egypt's Luxor, the furor was such that questions were even asked about it at a Foreign Ministry news briefing.
China has become an important corner of the global village. We have to understand and respect foreign cultures , so as to get along well when having overseas trips. So before you start your next overseas trip, remember to learn about the culture and people there, which aims to improve China's image in foreigners' eyes. Wherever you go you need to protect the environment. In this way, you'll win respect for yourself as well as our country.
Other incidents have attracted similar anger, including that of a mother who let her children defecate on the floor of Kaohsiung airport in Taiwan, just meters (feet) from a toilet. Embarrassment over the behavior of some Chinese tourists has reached the highest levels of government, which has tried to project an image of a benign and cultured emerging power whose growing wealth can only benefit the world.
On Development of Tourism With the opening and reform policy being carried out, thousands upon thousands of chinese people are crowding into other country. As a result, now I’d like to talk to something about Tourism of civilization. As more and more Chinese go on overseas trips, reports about their bad manners flood in. Many overseas Chinese are embarrassed when foreigners ask them if all Chinese shout loudly, litter or spit everywhere. The poor behavior or some Chinese has done great harm to our good reputation. Now,I will give some examples.
