高考应用文基础写作—申请信
1. 整体设计思路、指导依据说明
本课例基于“强调从学生的兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用”的新课标理念,让学生从经历应聘的自我介绍—写申请信的五步法—小组活动总结句式—写作练习—评价的过程。遵循呈现—实践—迁移的英语教学规律,创设尽可能真实的应聘情境,采用任务型教学途径与小组合作学习的方式,循序渐进,连词成句,连句成篇,让学生利用已有知识轻松写作,充分体现以“以教师为主导、学生为主体”的课堂风貌。
2. 教学背景分析:
教学内容分析:
本课例是通过人教新课标的必修四Unit.1 Great women 这一单元的写作目标———人物介绍延伸而来的。在高考作文中,申请信是近年来的一个常考内容。这节基础写作课可以让高二的学生了解申请信的格式及基本步骤,为高三的高考申请信的提高写作奠定基础。
学情分析:
本次授课的对象是高一刚刚升入高二的学生,他们对英语学习的兴趣颇浓,已有一定的词汇量储备,但写作练习还没有进行综合性的训练,因此适宜循序渐进的培养小组合作学习的意识与习惯。应聘学校运动会志愿者这一话题对他们来说也贴近生活,有话可说。不少学生有一定的相关词汇和句型的储备,通过小组活动可以扩充知识储备,为写作打下良好基
础。
3.教学目标分析
知识与技能目标:
(1)重点词汇和短语

(3)申请信的格式及五步法
情感目标:
(1)采用应聘的形式,让学生积极参与课堂活动,敢于表达,培养其竞争意识。
(2)采用小组探究、合作的方式,培养学生团队合作意识,体会知
识共享的乐趣。
学习策略目标:
(1)引导学生在课堂上积极思考,运用已有知识贮备进行英语写作。
(2)培养学生积极与人合作、主动请教、互相帮助,共同完成学习任务的意识与规范。
4、教学重点和难点
教学重点:能掌握申请信的格式及基本步骤及熟练运用相关句型。
教学难点:在写作中恰当运用新旧知识来交替运用。

6、教学过程
Step 1. Pre-task
1. Greetings and lead-in (3mins)
The teacher comes in the classroom with an advertising board, “I feel very honored to stand here to be with you. However, I am here today not to be your teacher, but to look for someone. You know next month our school is going to hold a sports meeting, so we need some volunteers to help organize the meeting. Warm-hearted and energetic boys and girls are welcome. Who do you think in your group is fit for this job? Please, introduce yourself.

2. Self introduction of students (3mins)
Ask two or three students to introduce themselves and after introduction,
the teacher says: You did a good job! However, you need to give more information in your introduction. What information will you include when applying for a job? Then lead the students to find out the five steps.

1. Brainstorm (4 mins)
T: Since you have known the five steps to introduce yourself, let’s work in groups and brainstorm more expressions to help each other compete for the position.
Divide students into 10 groups and try to brainstorm more expressions to describe the following aspects.
