一. 话题: Parents’Day

二. 语用任务目标:学生能运用What does he do? He’s a…这个核心句型交流父母的职业以及通过I want to be a …来表达自己的职业理想。

三. 语言学习目标:

【知识目标】

1.全体学生能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话,并进行角色扮演。

2.全体学生能理解、朗读熟练运用核心句型:

What does he do? He’s a…这个核心句型交流父母的职业。能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。

3.能用正确的语音语调朗读对话,并能表演本节课对话。

4.能尝试运用Do you want to be.....? Yes,I do./No,I want to be a/an....谈论自己的梦想职业.

【能力目标】:

1.能听说读写What does your father/mother do? He's/ She's a/ an…等询问对方父母职业。

2.能听说认读Do you want to be…? Yes,I do./No,I want to be a/an…谈论自己的职业理想。

【情感策略目标】:

1.情感态度:想要实现自己的梦想,就必须一步一步,脚踏实地,好好学习,努力奋斗!

2.学习策略:创设职业体验的真实情景,让学生有兴趣运用英语表达,能积极参与课堂活动。

四.体验目标:

1)文化情感

让学生有兴趣用英语来谈论身边人的职业并通过对各种职业的了解表达自己的职业梦想。

2)学习策略

在语境中,学生能通过互问互答、情景表演等方式,积极运用所学内容进行自信的表达和交流。

五.教学重难点:

重点:能运用What does he do? He's a/ an…这个句型结构谈论职业,要求内容准确。

难点:能运用What does he do? He's a/ an…这个句型结构谈论职业的基础上,能够尝试从工作地点以及工作方式方面完善身边人的信息。

六、教学设计

Step 1 warm-up

1.Show the topic.

2. Enjoy a chant : My family.

3. Free talk .

T: Are there any words about jobs in it ?

Ss: Driver 、cook 、doctor 、nurse

T: What else do you know? Can you remember?

Ss: Worker, doctor...

T: Is your father a doctor? What does he do?...

Ss: Yes,he is./No,he isn’t. He is a/an ...

[设计意图] 让学生听读四年级学过的歌谣即复习了旧的职业单词而且节奏明快的歌谣也调动了学生的积极性,激发学生的学习兴趣而且营造了一个宽松愉快的学习氛围。

自由会话目的是锻炼学生的综合语言运用能力,而且自由对话和本节课的新知密切联系,为本节课的学习做了铺垫。

Step 2 presentation

一、Let’s try

1、Listen and circle.

T : It’s Parents’ Day today, Zhang Peng and Sarah are also talking about their parents.Here comes two questions , first read and then listen and circle the right answers.

2、Check the answers.

二、Let’s talk

本课时语境:家长开放日当天,Oliver和Sarah 聊起谁会来参加并借此谈论父母的职业以及自己的职业理想。

Oliver’s father

Show a picture of a man .T: Sarah and Oliver are talking about a man. Do you know him? Or do you have any questions about him? Ss: Who is he? Is he a …? What’s his job? What does he do?(借机板贴重点句并示范读)

T: 师评(Thinking mind! /I also want to know it….) Now let’s watch the video and you will get the answers.

Ss: He is Oliver’s father. He is a businessman.( 师板书并教读businessman)

T: Can his father come on parents’ day?

Ss: No.

T: Why?

Ss: Because he is in Australia now. It’s far from China. Sum up: Oliver’s father is very busy and he can’t come. Oliver’s mother

Sarah also doesn’t know her, so she has a question. Now let’s listen and find out .

Ss:What does your mother do?( 师板贴并教读)

Ss:She is a head teacher.

T: Is Miss Yang a head teacher?

Ss: No, you are an English teacher.

Show a picture of the head teacher in our school. Let Ss to fill in the blank.
