四冲程发动机的工作流程The working process of a four-stroke engine can be described as a series of carefully timed events that allow the engine to convert fuel into mechanical energy. Each stroke plays a crucial rolein the overall functioning of the engine, and together they ensure the efficient operation of the vehicle.The first stroke, known as the intake stroke, beginswith the downward movement of the piston. As the piston moves down, the intake valve opens, allowing a mixture of fuel and air to enter the combustion chamber. This mixtureis typically prepared in the carburetor or fuel injection system and is essential for the subsequent combustion process.Once the intake stroke is complete, the second stroke, compression, begins. In this stage, the piston moves backup towards the top of the cylinder, compressing the fuel-air mixture. The compression ratio, which is the ratio of the cylinder's volume at the bottom of the stroke to the volume at the top, determines the efficiency and power output of the engine. A higher compression ratio leads to increased efficiency but may require higher-octane fuel to prevent knocking.The third stroke, combustion, is where the magic happens. At the top of the compression stroke, the spark plug ignites the compressed fuel-air mixture. This ignition causes a rapid increase in pressure, which forces the piston back down. As the piston descends, it transfers the energy from the expanding gases to the connecting rod, which in turn drives the crankshaft. As the piston reaches BDC again, the exhaust valve opens. Now, as the piston moves up on the exhaust stroke, it forces the burned gases out of the cylinder through the exhaust-valve port. Then, when the piston reaches TDC, the exhaust valve closes and the intake valve opens. Now, a fresh charge of air-fuel mixture will be drawn into the cylinder as the piston moves down again toward BDC.
