Winter can be a tough season especially when it comes to your skin. Combine the cold temperatures outside with the warm temperatures inside, and skin can begin to crack （破裂）. And that is not good. The cold weather is very difficult for us to help protect our skin because we lose nutrients （营养）, we lose moisture （湿度）there's essential oils that are built into our skin. And all those things are difficult to replenish （补充）during the winter .

If untreated, dry skin can sometimes lead to dermatitis （皮肤炎）which causes swelling （肿）and infection （感染）. Use creams and soaps with moisturizers （润肤霜）to keep skin soft; avoid those with alcohol or perfumes （此指香精）. "We need to stop taking those long hot showers that we really like. Make sure they're lukewarm water （温水）. About ten minutes, that's the max you want to use. And make sure after the shower or bath to use a good moisturizer ." While patches （小片）of dry skin can appear anywhere, it's most common on arms, hands, lower legs and the abdomen （腹部）.Also skin in joint areas （关节区）can also become red and flaky （脱皮） -- make sure to check these areas and keep them moist. Angela Cornell is a professor at the Cornell (4) in Ithaca, New York. She says many

The New York Times reported that employees sometimes worked seven days a week. The newspaper said some stood so long that they had trouble walking. (8) of Apple followed publication of the report.
