下面店铺为大家带来黄鹤楼旅游英语导游词,欢迎大家阅读! 黄鹤楼旅游英语导游词一:Ladies and gentlemen,We'll now begin our tour of the Yellow-Crane Tower.Hubei Province's Yellow-Crane Tower of Wuhan is one of the three most famous towers in southern China. Along with Dongting Lake's Yueyang Tower the Yellow Crane to come down. After that, he sat on the Yellow Crane and flew away on it. To commemorate the old man and his yellow crane, Xin built a high tower on the inn and named it the Yellow-Crane Tower. This story about the immortal person, Shen Xian., has spread widely across China for thousands of years and is a very influential legend explaining the origins of the Yellow Crane Tower. Another similar legend is that a person called Fei Wei successfully attained immortality on the Yellow Crane Hill and, like Shen Xian, used the crane to go to heaven. Later to commemorate Fei Wei, people constructed Yellow-Crane Tower on top of the Yellow Crane Hill. But modern research tells a different story regarding the origins of Yellow-Crane Tower's name. This explanation points to the place the Tower was built on top of, namely Yellow-Crane Hill. So, it is named Yellow-Crane T ower.My dear friends, we have arrived at Yellow-Crane T ower. In fact, Yellow- crane Tower we see now is rebuilt after the foundingof New China. Due to wars and other events, Yellow-Crane Tower has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt. The last Qing tower was built in 7th year of the Qing T ongzhi Emperor's reign (1868) and then was destroyed again during the 10th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign (1884). Nearly a century passed before further rebuilding work was done on the Tower. The latest reconstruction of the tower began in October of 1981 and was finished in June of 1985. The main building took the Qing Dynasty tower as its blueprint, but the use of modern technology and construction techniques has given the Yellow-Crane Tower a more unique shape and enhanced its ancient magnificence. The original ancient Yellow-crane T ower was three-storey structures and 33 meters high, which in traditional Chinese measure system was 9 zhang and 2 chi high, plus a 7-chi copper roof, thus there were 2 nines(The number“9" was an auspicious one in traditional Chinese). We are now viewing the new 5 storey Yellow-Crane Tower and its gourd shaped roof. The roof is 5 meters high and the entire tower is altogether 51.4 meters high, making it nearly 20 meters higher than the old Yellow Crane Tower. The base of the new T ower is also twice as wide-30 meters vs. 15 meters-as that of the old Tower. Thus the Yellow Crane Tower has been reconstructed, rather than restored. While some features of the old design have been preserved, it has been rebuilt to better fit people's needs and modem aesthetic perspectives. It was also necessary to move the Yellow-Crane Tower during its reconstruction to make way for new Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. Fortunately, the structure has been made even more majestic than the former tower. The present Yellow-Crane Tower consists of main buildings, matched pavilions, corridors andmemorial archways, all spreading over a three story terrace along a terrace along a central axis that becomes higher and higher. The west entrance of the Yellow-Crane Tower Park is located on the first terrace. The second terrace has a memorial archway flanked by pavilions and a bending corridor. The newly built Yellow-Crane T ower stands on the third and central terrace. We can see the new complex is an attractive mix of different and unique architectural styles. This is particularly true of the Yellow-Crane Tower, which consists of several different layers. The bottom layer is a tall spacious hall, whose kelp well is as high as 10 meters. On frontispiece wall there are huge ceramic murals named " Cloud Yellow cranes’. There are seven meter long poetic couplets along both sides of the columns. On the marble wall of the hall on the second floor is engraved in the Yan Bojin’s " YelLow-Crane Tower" , recording the tower's history and all of the major figures who visited here and drew inspiration from this place. There are two murals of both sides of these inscriptions. One mural is of the “Sun Quan Fortification” and concretely illustrates the Tower's original purpose and its first setting, Wuchang City. The other mural depicts “Zhou Yu’s Banquet", which celebrates the famous historical figures who visited the Tower and their activities in it during the Three Kingdom's period. The murals in the hall of third floor are “Embroidered portrait Painting” of Tang and Song Dynasty poets such as Cui Hao, Li Bai and Bai Juyi and also famous lines from the celebrated poems they wrote in The Yellow-crane T ower. The fourth floor's hall is divided into several rooms by screens, displaying the photos of many contemporary famous Chinese people for visitors to enjoy and purchase. The top hall has scrolls and wall paintings, such as the “Yangtze Wanli Map”.Well, you can visit freely. Two hours later we will gather here.I hope all of you have a good time.My friends, our journey is about to end. And I should say goodbye to you all . T we hope you havea nice journey here. If you have any special interest, please tell your tour leader, and he will let us know. My job is to smooth your way, care for your welfare, try my best to answer your question, and be your guide and interpreter. We highly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.According to the history, the yellow crane tower was first built in 223AD during the three-kingdom period. At the beginning , the tower was originally used for military to observe the enemy’s activity. When the war finished, the tower gradually became a scenic attraction where people can appreciate the view of the city as well as the lake. In ancient time, many literati visited this place, and sometimes even put down poems for it . Such as Cuihao in Tang Dynasty, he wrote a famous poem which was name YELLO CRANE TOWER, and another famous poet LiBai, whose poems affected the whole dynasty in his time, also visited this beautiful place many times. In this place he once saw off his friend, another poet MengHaoran, and wrote a famous poem for it to show his emotion. From then on, the yellow crane tower was well know throughout China.Over the centuries the tower had been destroyed by wars for many times, but its popularity with Chinese ensured that it was always rebuilt. The current tower was completed in 1985 and its design derived from a picture of Qing dynasty. It stands 51.4meters high and has 5 floors .The appearance of the tower is the same regardless of the direction it is viewed from. The tower has 60 upturned eaves layer upon layer, covered with yellow glazed tiles and supported with 72 huge pillars. The exports comment that it is an authentic reproduction of both the exterior and interior design, with the exception of the addition of air-conditioner and an elevator. Since ancient time, the yellow crane tower has been regarded as the symbol of Wuhan. Now we are standing in front of the tower. With yellow upturned eaves, each floor seems to have been designed to resemble a yellow crane spreading its wings to fly. Let’s enter the hall on the first floor. On the wall, there is a nine-meter (about 30 feet) long and six-meter (about 20 feet) wide painted porcelain picture which depicts clouds, rivers and cranes to represent a romantic mood in the heaven. What do you think of the picture? It is very beautiful, isn’t it?Do you know why we call the to wer YELLOW CRANE TOWER?The answer lies in the picture. Have you noticed that ,in thepicture there is a Taoist who played an flute and rode an crane gliding through the sky?It is a story about kindness and rewarding.Long long ago, there was a warm-hearted old man. He was very poor and ran a small wine tavern to earn a living. One day in the summer, the weather was very hot and the sun was very strong, a Taoist dressed in tattered clothes entered the alehouse. He begged the shopkeeper for wine:” Excuse me, I am very thirsty but I haven’t any money. For god’s sake, could you give me a bowl of wine?” “sure” the shopkeeper smiled: “just help yourself” and gave him a bowl of wine. After that, the Taoist often patronized the tavern and enjoyed the wine without paying money. One year later, the Taoist wanted to reward the poor man. He picked up an orange peel from the ground and drew a magic crane on the wall. When he clapped his hands, the crane can dance with the rhythem. Many people came to watch this miracle. From then on, the tavern was always full of guests. During the ten years, the old man got out of the involvement of poverty and ran a large restaurant. Ten years later, the Taoist revisited the old place. When he met Xin, Xin thanked him. He said: it is your kindness that makes you wealthy. After saying goodbye, the Taoist played the flute and then rode the crane to the sky. In honor of the yellow crane and Taoist, the old man, Xin , built a tower and named it yellow crane tower. Now we are on the second floor, and we can appreciate various miniature copied the styles from Tang dynasty to Qing dynasty. Now, let us enjoy the yellow crane in Tang dynasty, it has two stories, the first floor was the gate of the wall , the second floor was used for visitors to enjoy the view of the city. I have a question, which resembles with the current tower most, pay attention, please. Right, the design of yellow crane tower was followed a Qing dynasty picture. Let us have a look at the model in Qing dynasty. It has 3stories, the first floor has 12eaves which represent 12 hours in one day, the second floor also has 12eaves and it stands for 12months in a year. The third floor has 24eaves and represents 24 solar terms. It is very interesting to enjoy kinds of models in different dynasties. On the three floor you can learn something about Chinese ancient culture----poem. Maybe you can try to learn Chinese from poem and show the poem to your family members back home. Such as YELLOW CRANE TOWER, and it is very simple. If you want to enjoy the Changjiang river and the view of Wuhan, the good choice is to go to the fifth floor. And the rest time, enjoy yourself .That’s all for the explanation to yellow crane tower. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. You will have another 30 minutes to have a look around the temple. If you have any problems, do let me know. I would like to repeat our bus number,WH12345. Please don’t forget. See you later. Your current visit to China is drawing to a close. I would like to saya few words before you leave this country, though I am not a speech-maker. Time have elapsed so quickly and you have visited several scenic spots in this city. The time we stayed together was rather short and really the surface was only scratched. What the Chinese pe ople call “looking at the flowers on the horse’s back.” Every one in the group has been very cooperative, friendly, understanding and punctual. That is what I witnessed and experienced, and as a national guide, it was much appreciated.Parting is such sweet sorrow. Happy to meet, sorry to depart, and happy to meet again. Wish you have a nice journey home. Goodbye。

It has a history of more than 1700 years, during which it was built and destroyed repeatedly. The present yellow crane tower is based on the Yellow Crane Tower of the Qing Dynasty, rebuilt in 1981 and completed in 1985.Now you can see the tall and magnificent building in front of you is the Yellow Crane Tower. It is famous in ancient and modern times and is famous at home and abroad. It is as famous as Tengwang Pavilion in Jiangxi and Yueyang Pavilion in Hunan. It is also known as the "three great pavilions in the south of the Yangtze River". There was an interesting story about the magnificence of the Yellow Crane Tower. It was said that the guests from Hubei and Sichuan met on the river, chatting and praising their hometown. The Sichuan guest said, "there is an Emei Mountain in Sichuan, only three feet away from the sky." the Hubei guest said with a smile, "there is a yellow crane tower in Hubei, half of which is in the clouds. "The guests in Sichuan were speechless. Of course, the story is a bit exaggerated, but the Yellow Crane Tower does attract Chinese and foreign tourists with its magnificent landscape, moving legend and strong cultural atmosphere.Well, having said so much, lets go to the Yellow Crane Tower. When you enter the hall, the most attractive one is the picture of white clouds and yellow cranes. It is based on the ancient myth of riding a crane to become an immortal. It also takes the meaning of the Tang poem that "in the past, people had gone by the Yellow Crane". Please see the immortal on the picture. He plays a jade flute and looks down at the world. It seems that he is reluctant to part in the painting. The people below the Yellow Crane Tower sing poems or sing and dance. They wish the immortal Yellow Crane a good morning Return to the world. In fact, there is a legend behind the mural, which casts a mysterious color on the Yellow Crane Tower: in ancient times, there was a man surnamed Xin who was selling wine at the top of the Yellow Crane mountain. One day, a ragged old Taoist came to him to beg for wine. Although Xin waspetty, he was loyal, kind and charitable. Seeing that the old Taoist was very poor, he generously agreed. After that, Lao Dao would come every day, while Xin Shi would respond to every request. After more than a year of this. One day, the Taoist priest suddenly came to say goodbye: "I dont get paid for drinking every day. Only a yellow crane can borrow it to show my gratitude. "After that, he picked up a piece of orange peel on the ground, drew a yellow crane on the wall, and said to Xin," as long as you clap your hands, the yellow crane will come down and dance to cheer the drinkers. "After that, Lao Dao disappeared. When Xin clapped his hands for a try, the Yellow Crane jumped down and danced for the festival. After the news spread, it attracted tourists from far and near to drink. The business of the hotel was booming, and Xin made a fortune. Ten years later, Lao Dao suddenly appeared in the hotel and said to Xin Shi, "is the money I earned in ten years enough to pay off my wine debt?" Xin Shi quickly said thanks. Lao Dao took down his flute and played a wonderful tune to the Yellow Crane on the wall. The Yellow Crane heard the sound and flew away with Lao Dao.Thus, the scene on the mural appeared. (in addition to this mural, this couplet is known as one of the two wonders of the Yellow Crane Tower: cool air comes from the west, clouds sweepaway the regret of heaven and earth; the river goes to the East, waves wash away ancient and modern worries. It means that the fresh and pleasant air comes from the west, dispels the fog accumulated in the clouds, and sweeps away the regrettable things between the heaven and the earth; the surging Yangtze River rolls eastward, and washes away the vexing things of all ages. ) OK, now lets go upstairs with me.This is the racetrack on the first floor and a half. Now you may have noticed that the Yellow Crane Tower has five floors on the outside, but not on the inside. It actually has nine floors. This is because in ancient China, the singular number was called Yang number, and "9" was the first number of Yang numbers. It was also homophonic with the long-standing "jiu" of Chinese characters, which means "forever". In this horse racing Gallery, we mainly display some famous calligraphy and paintings for you to watch.Dear friends, when we come to the second floor of the Yellow Crane Tower, we can see the history of the Yellow Crane Tower. First, please look at this mural entitled "Sun Quan building the city", which reproduces the historical background when the Yellow Crane Tower was built. After the battle of Chibi, Liu Bei borrowed Jingzhou and took Sichuan, but he refused to return it to Jingzhou. Not longafter LV Meng, the general of the eastern Wu Dynasty, killed Guan Yu and recaptured Jingzhou, Liu Bei personally led more than 100000 troops to attack Wu. Knowing that the war was inevitable, Sun Quan, on the one hand, asked Wei Chengchen for peace, and on the other hand, concentrated his strength against Liu Bei. In order to command the battle nearby, Sun Quan built Xiakou city on the edge of the Yangtze River according to the danger of Huanghe mountain, and built a building on huangheji at the head of the city for observation. This is the original huanghe tower.Lets look at the story of the Yellow Crane Tower in the middle. In terms of the three famous towers, the Yellow Crane Tower ranks first. In terms of the story of the tower, the one with the least name is the story of the Yellow Crane Tower. The article we see now is selected from more than ten records of the Yellow Crane Tower. It focuses on the real scene. The whole article is less than 300 words, but it clearly describes the geographical location, architectural form, legend and peoples activities in the Yellow Crane Tower. In addition, there are six models of the Yellow Crane Tower of the past dynasties on display here, which also reflects the vicissitudes of history of the Yellow Crane Tower from one side. Our present yellow crane tower is redesigned and built based on theprototype of Tongzhi tower in the Qing Dynasty. Next, please go up to the third floor with me.The third floor shows the cultural origin of the Yellow Crane Tower. This group of board paintings in the collection of literati reproduces the scene of literati coming to the Yellow Crane Tower to chant poems and write Fu. In the middle of the mural, you can see the poet in red. He is Cui Hao. Although he is very talented, he is not satisfied with his official career because he is a traitor. This kind of state of mind makes him have the idea of learning Taoism and becoming an immortal. The poem "Yellow Crane tower" is the expression of this kind of mood. Now we can collect more than 1700 poems about the Yellow Crane Tower, but due to the limited space, only 11 famous poets are selected here.On the fourth floor of the Yellow Crane Tower, you can see that this is the cultural activity place of the Yellow Crane Tower, which specially displays the impromptu works left by contemporary calligraphers and painters visiting the Yellow Crane Tower. In the middle is Mr. Li Kerans landscape painting, on the right is Mr. Li kuchans work, and on the left is Mr. Wu Zuorens "flying thousands of miles" for the Yellow Crane Tower. In addition, there are fourtreasures of study for tourists to improvise. (if you are interested, you can have a try. Maybe your works will be displayed here in the future. )Well, friends, next we are going to climb the top floor of the Yellow Crane Tower (, see if you will have a different feeling there?).On display in the hall is a group of paintings entitled "the vastness of the Yangtze River". Covering an area of 99 square meters, it is the largest in the whole building. It is composed of ten pieces of splendor heavy color paintings, showing the natural landscape of the Yangtze River and the origin of historical civilization. From here, you can have a panoramic view of the three towns in Wuhan. You can either overlook them or overlook them. Its a beautiful scenery, which is pleasing to the eye. The Yellow Crane Tower is located at the top of the Snake Mountain, which is commonly known as the snake mountain because it stretches from east to west and looks like a long snake. On the other side of the river is Guishan mountain in Hanyang. Due to the dislocation of strata and the impact of the river, the two mountains of Guishan and Sheshan face each other across the river. The Yangtze RiverBridge connects the mountains on both sides of the river. In this way, the East-West mountains and the South-North Yangtze River draw a huge cross on the land of Wuhan, and the Yellow Crane Tower is just next to this intersection.Looking to the East, it is another scene, with rolling mountains and scattered lakes. To the east of the snake mountain where the Yellow Crane Tower is now located are Shuangfeng Mountain and Hongshan mountain. These two mountains are the religious resorts of Wuhan City, with several famous Taoist temples and temples. Further east, there are the famous East Lake Scenic Area and Wuhan cultural and educational District, where some famous colleges and universities are concentrated.Well, dear friends, Ill introduce you to the Yellow Crane Tower.I hope my explanation will leave you a little impression. It is the landmark building of Wuhan City, known as the "thoroughfare of nine provinces". Whether you are cruising on the Yangtze River or passing the Beijing Guangzhou railway, you can see this famous building towering over the snake mountain. It can be said that the unique geographical location, together with the poems, poems, couplets and plaques left by the literati of the past dynasties, has created this famous cultural building with the beauty of mountains and rivers and the beauty of humanities. Since ancient times, it has enjoyed the reputation of "the first building in the world". The Yellow Crane Tower was first built in 223 A.D. in the second year of Wu and Huang dynasties in the Three Kingdoms. Ithas a history of more than 1700 years since Sun Quan built a military post on the mountain. Now, the Yellow Crane Tower is based on the Yellow Crane Tower in the Qing Dynasty. It was rebuilt in 1981 and completed in 1985. You see, the main building of the Yellow Crane Tower is 51.4 meters high, with yellow tiles and red columns, resplendent and resplendent, and all the buildings are cast with reinforced concrete. It does not lose the traditional unique shape of the Yellow Crane Tower, and is more magnificent than the Yellow Crane Tower of previous dynasties. Therefore, it enjoys the reputation of "the worlds best scenery". When you come to the Yellow Crane Tower, you may have a question: why is this loft named Yellow Crane tower? Dont worry, lets take this question to the first floor hall, and then listen to me slowly. Perhaps the most eye-catching painting in the hall is the painting of white clouds and yellow cranes, which is 9 meters high and 6 meters wide. It is inlaid with 756 colored bricks. The Yellow Crane Tower stands in the middle, with a fairy riding on the Yellow Crane and playing the jade flute above. It seems to leave and return. The people below are singing and dancing, sending off and welcoming the immortal riding on the yellow crane. The whole painting is full of romantic and magical atmosphere, Why do people in Wuhan call the landmark building in their hometown Yellow Crane Tower? This beautiful name comes from a beautiful apotheosis legend. In the Ming Dynasty, it was recorded in the report of repaying ones kindness that an old Taoist named Xin he drank wine for half a year in a tavern, but he didnt pay a cent. When he left, he drew a yellow crane on the wall with the orange peel on the ground, and told Xinhe that as long as you clap your hands, the yellow crane will come down and dance to cheer the drinkers. Since then, Xinhes Tavern business has been booming because of the crane. In order to be grateful to Lao Dao, Xin he built a high building in situ, named "Yellow Crane Tower". For hundreds of years, this story has been widely spread in China, and has become the most influential legend of the Yellow Crane Tower.OK, please follow me up. Our current location is not the second floor, but the mezzanine between the first floor and the second floor, commonly known as the horse racing gallery. There are such horse racing corridors between every two floors. You can calculate that the Yellow Crane Tower originally has five floors. In addition, the horse racing corridor between every two floors has a total of nine floors inside. Therefore, the Yellow Crane Tower has a building structure of five floors outside and nine floors inside. Here are some historical celebrities calligraphy and paintings. You can enjoy them. As you can see, there are six models of Yellow CraneTower in Tang, song, yuan, Ming, Qing Dynasties and modern times on the second floor. They each represent the architectural styles of their own times. You see, the Yellow Crane Tower of the Tang Dynasty is connected with the city on the first floor and has only two floors on the outside. The overall structure is simple and rough, giving people a sense of simplicity and vigor.Take another look at the Song Dynasty building, which is composed of four parts: building, terrace, porch and corridor. Each floor has a double eaves, which shows the delicate and meaningful artistic style of the Song Dynasty. The form of the Yuan Dynasty continued the style of the Song Dynasty, while the Ming Dynasty was still two-tier. If you look at it again, there are some cloth awnings and other things. Do you know what they are for? Yes, they are the umbrellas used by people in ancient times. Look at the Yellow Crane Tower of the Qing Dynasty. It is divided into three levels, which refer to the time of the day. Good location. People and people. There are 12 eaves on the first floor, representing 12 hours of a day, 12 eaves on the second floor, representing 12 months of a year, and 24 eaves on the third floor, representing 24 solar terms of a year. Its the most amazing thing that Chinese traditional astronomy and calendar culture can be integrated into it. Unfortunately, in the summer of 1884, that is, the 10th year ofGuangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, the Qing building was burned to ashes because of the loss of the house at the foot of the mountain. The last one is now the Yellow Crane Tower. It is based on the Yellow Crane Tower of the Qing Dynasty. It was rebuilt in 1984. It not only has the unique traditional shape of the Yellow Crane Tower, but also is more magnificent than the buildings of previous dynasties. Third floor hall to taste its humanistic theme. A group of large-scale ceramic murals, a collection of people and culture, is displayed in the hall, which reproduces the scene of famous figures in history coming to the Yellow Crane Tower to recite poems and Fu. The fourth floor is the cultural activity place of the Yellow Crane Tower, displaying the impromptu works of famous contemporary calligraphers and painters visiting the building. There are also four treasures of the study specially prepared here. If any tourists are interested, they might as well show their skills here. Now we come to the viewing platform on the fifth floor of the Yellow Crane Tower. The first picture we see here is a group of paintings called "the vastness of the river and the sky", which covers an area of 90 square meters and is the largest among the murals in the whole building. It consists of 10 color paintings. The three on the front wall are the center of the group of paintings. The first one recordsthe process of the ancient Yangtze River culture from top to bottom. The second is the water waves depicted with gold lines on the stone green background, occupying the whole picture. It seems that people stand on a cross section of the Yangtze River and feel the waves rushing eastward. The third one reflects the process of the Yellow Crane Towers emergence, rise and fall after the Three Kingdoms period. The other seven, painted on the e Fang, are: the source of the Yangtze River, the waterfalls in the upper reaches, the scenery of the Three Gorges, the wonders of Lushan, the scenery of Taihu Lake, the river flowing into the sea and the vicissitudes of the sea. The good time always makes people feel so short. Our trip to the Yellow Crane Tower is over here.In the course of this trip, there are still many things I should do well in my work, but I can only say to you - thank you, thank you for your strong support and help.If we are destined to meet again next year, I would like to provide you with better service. Im very glad to accompany you to visit the Yellow Crane Tower, a famous building in the south of the YangtzeRiver. I will do my best to provide you with a comprehensive and considerate tour guide service. I wish you all have a good time. The Yellow Crane Tower has been praised by Chinese poets of all ages, and has always enjoyed the reputation of "peerless scenery in the world". Together with Yueyang Tower in Hunan Province and Tengwang Pavilion in Jiangxi Province, it is known as "three famous buildings in the south of the Yangtze River". With its long history and magnificent posture, it ranks first in the third floor and enjoys the reputation of "peerless scenery in the world".As we all know, there are many kinds of cranes in nature, including white crane, grey crane, Red Crowned Crane, black necked Crane and so on, but there is no yellow crane. So why do people in Wuhan call the landmark building of their hometown Yellow Crane Tower? This beautiful name comes from a beautiful myth.Once upon a time, there was a man named Xin who was selling wine on the top of Huanghu mountain. One day, an old man in ragged clothes came to him and asked him for drinks. Although his business was small and profitable, he was faithful, kind and charitable. Seeing that Lao Dao was very pitiful, he generously agreed. After having enough to eat and drink, Lao Dao was verygrateful to Xin. Later, Lao Dao would come every day, and Hsin would answer every request. A year passed unconsciously. One day, Lao Dao came to the hotel again. As soon as Xin saw him, he quickly prepared food and wine for Lao Dao. Lao Dao quickly stopped him and said, "I dont drink today. Im here to say goodbye to you.". He said that drinking every day, no thanks, but I will draw, I will draw a picture for your hotel as a souvenir. After that, Lao Dao picked up the orange peel on the ground and drew it on the wall. In a short time, he drew a crane. Because the color of the orange peel is yellow, the crane is also yellow. After the painting, Lao Dao said to Xin: as long as you clap your hands, the yellow crane will come down and dance for the drinkers. As soon as Xin heard this, he was very happy. He immediately went to see the crane painted by Lao Dao. He thought it was lifelike and very beautiful. He turned to thank Lao Dao for drawing such a good picture for his hotel, but Lao Dao had disappeared. The next day, a guest came to the hotel. He thought of the old Taoists words and clapped his hands for a try. Sure enough, the Yellow Crane jumped down, sang and danced, and then jumped back to the wall. The guest was very happy. After the news spread, people and tourists from three towns in Wuhan came to the store to watch theYellow Crane Dance. Since then, the hotel business flourished, and Xins got rich. One day ten years later, Lao Dao appeared in the hotel again. When she saw him, she was very happy. She took Lao Dao and said, "when youve been there for ten years, Ill inquire about your whereabouts and find out where you are. Today you are back, please dont leave again. After Xins speech, Lao Dao said to Xin: I wonder if you have paid off my wine debt with the money you have earned in the past ten years? Xin said in a hurry: Thank you very much. With the help of the Yellow Crane you left behind, I am very rich now. On hearing this, the Taoist priest laughed, took off his flute and played a wonderful tune to the Yellow Crane on the wall. The Yellow Crane began to sing and dance with the flute. At the end of the song, the old Taoist stepped on the yellow crane. The Yellow Crane flew away with the old Taoist. Since then, the old Taoist never came back.People in the three towns of Wuhan miss this crane, which brings them happiness and auspiciousness. They suggest that Xin build a pavilion beside the hotel to honor Laodao and Huanghe. At the same time, it also guides the old Taoist and yellow crane who travel all over the world. I hope they will come back soon. Xinaccepted everyones advice and took out the money he had accumulated for many years to build a high-rise building next to the hotel. He felt that the Yellow Crane helped him get rich, so he named it the Yellow Crane Tower. For thousands of years, this story has been widely spread, and has become the most influential legend of the Yellow Crane Tower. The Yellow Crane Tower was first built in 223 A.D. in the second year of Wu Huangwu in the Three Kingdoms. It has a history of more than 1700 years, during which it has been destroyed and built repeatedly. This is because the Yellow Crane Tower is no longer a scenic building in the general sense, it reflects the rise and fall of an era. Since the Yellow Crane Tower was destroyed in 1884, people have been looking forward to its reappearance in Jiangcheng, but they have not been able to do so. It was not until after the reform and opening up that the Yellow Crane Tower was rebuilt, which fully reflects the improvement of Chinas comprehensive national strength. The Yellow Crane Tower we are visiting today is based on the Yellow Crane Tower of the Qing Dynasty. Construction started in 1981 and was completed in 1984. It is 100 years since the last Yellow Crane Tower was destroyed.。

This is the Yellow Crane Tower, and the hill is the Snake hill. And this Yellow Crane Tower standing in front of your eyes is the most one among the three well-known towers south of the Yangtze River. It’s extremely attractive to scholars or any civilian with literary background.(Reputations)Does anyone know the reason why it’s so famous? Yes, it has a long history. According to the history, the Yellow Crane tower was first built in 223AD during the three-kingdom period. At the beginning, the tower was originally used for military to observe the enemy’s activity. When the war finished, the tower gradually became a scenic attraction. In ancient time, many literati visited this place, and sometimes even put down poems for it to show their emotions, such as Libai and Cuihao whose poems affected the whole dynasty in their time. From then on, the Yellow Crane tower was well-known throughout China. / Although destroyed many times in successive dynasties, its popularity with Chinese ensured that it was always rebuilt. The current tower was completed in 1985 and its design derived from a picture of Qing dynasty. It stands 51.4 meters high and has 5 floors . Since ancient time, the Yellow Crane Tower has been regarded as the symbol of Wuhan. Now we are standing in front of the main tower-Yellow Crane Tower. With yellow upturned eaves, each floor seems to have been designed to resemble a yellow cra ne spreading its wings to fly. Let’s enter the hall on the first floor. On the wall, there is a nine-meter (about 30 feet) long and six-meter (about 20 feet) wide painted porcelain picture which depicts(描画) clouds, rivers and cranes to represent a romantic mood in the heaven. What do you think of the picture? It is very beautiful, isn’t it? Do you know why we call the tower YELLOW CRANE TOWER? The answer lies in the picture. Have you noticed that, in the picture there is a Taoist who played a flute and rode a crane gliding through the sky? It isa story about kindness and rewarding.Long long ago, there was a warm-hearted man named Xin. He was very poor and ran a small wine shop to earn a living. One day in the summer, the weather was very hot and the sun was very strong, a Taoist priest entered the wine shop and begged the shopkeeper for wine:“Excuse me, I am very thirsty but I haven’t any money. For god’s sake, could you please give me a bowl of wine?” “Sure” the shopkeeper smiled,“ just help yourself ” and gave him a bowl of wine. After that, the Taoist often enjoyed the wine without paying money. In order to thank the Xins for this favor of free wine, the Taoist priest drew a magic crane on the wall and told it to dance upon hearing claps. Thousands of people came to see the spectacle and the wine shop was always full of guests. 10 years later, the Taoist priest revisited the wine shop. He played the flute and then rode on the crane to the sky. In memory of the supernatural encounter and the Taoist priest, the Xins built a tower named Yellow Crane Tower.Follow me please, let’s go up to the second floor. Here displayed various miniature models copied the styles from Tang dynasty to Qing dynasty. Let’s look at the Yellow Crane Tower in Tang dynasty first. Yo u can see that it only has two layers. The overall structure is relatively simple and rough, giving a sense of simplicity. Now I have a question, which model do you think resembles the current tower most? Right, the last one. The tower we see today follows the style of Qing dynasty. Let’s look at the model in Qing dynasty carefully. It has 3 layers, the first floor has 12 eaves which represent 12 hours in one day; the second floor also has 12 eaves and it stands for 12months in a year; the third floor has 24 eaves and it represents 24 solar terms. It’s very interesting to enjoy kinds of models in different dynasties. On the third floor you can learn something about Chinese ancient culture——poem. Maybe you can try to learn Chinese from poem and show the poem to your family members back home. Such as the poem YELLOW CRANE TOWER written by Cuihao, would you like to have a try? The fourth floor is a place for cultural activities displaying some contemporary paintings. Also The Scholar’s four jewels are prepared, you can try to use the writing brush to write down a poem if you like and show your masterpiece to your friends. I’m sure you will love it.Of course, if you want to enjoy the view of Yangtze River and the beautiful scenery of Wuhan, it’s a good choice to go to the fifth floor, where you can have a distant view of surrounding area and feast your eyes. That’s all for the explanation to Yellow Crane Tower. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. You will have another 30 minutes to look around. If you have any problems, do let me know. I’d like to repeat our bus number WH4321. Please don’t forget it. See you later.(1131)。

The mural shows that an old man is riding on a yellow crane and flying to the sky, and below him is the magnificent Yellow Crane Tower. The mural also tells us how the Yellow Crane Tower got its name. According to the legend, a long long time ago, on the Snake Hill lived an old widow. She didn’t have any relatives, people called her Madam Xin. She was very poor and just built a thatched restaurant to make a mere living. But she was very kind andalways helped the beggars and the poor. One day an old worn-out man came to beg food in front of her gate, it seemed the old man was very hungry and sick, and almost couldn’t stand. She felt very sorry and had pity on the old man. So she supported the old man to her restaurant and treated the old man with food and wine. Later the old man came to her restaurant to have food and drink every day, in spite of this, she still treated him without charge as before. About six months passed , one day the old man had to say goodbye to her :“Madam Xin, you are very kind, I have troubled you a lot. Thank you for your hospitality. Now please accept this present. While he was saying, the old man picked up a piece of orange peel and drew a yellow crane on the spoiled wall with the orange peel. Then he turned to tell her :“The crane will come down from the wall and dance in front of the gate after hearing the clapping of your hands. The water of your well will also become wine, you can’t run out of it.” After saying that, the old man disappeared. Madam Xin followed what the old man told her. The yellow crane indeed came down from the wall to dance in front of her restaurant and the water of her well also became wine indeed. The news soon spread far and wide and her restaurant attracted a lot of visitors. As time went on, she earned more and more money and became rich very quickly. One day after ten years, the old man came to her restaurant again. “How are you ? Madam Xin, is it enough to pay for the food and wine I have ever owed you ” he asked . “Yes, of course ” Madam Xin answered with a smile. Then the old man clapped his hands, the yellow crane jumped down and he bestrode the yellow crane and flew into the sky. Seeing this, she spent all the money she earned to built this tower in order to commemorate the old man and his yellow crane and named it Yellow Crane Tower. In fact, the old man was Yu D ongbing, one of China’s traditional Daoism’s eight immortals, the yellow crane don’t exist in the world, certainly this is ju st a legend. Now follow me to go upstairs, please. This is the second storey, we can enjoy an essay about the Yellow Crane Tower, two murals, six models of different times’Yellow Crane Towers. The essay was written by the famous poet Yan Boli of the Tang Dynasty, it has described the Yellow Crane Tower and the beautiful scenery around it. The right mural shows us how Sun Quan, the king of the Wu State of the Three Kingdoms Period had Wuchang City built, which was called Xiakou City at that time. The left one shows us the scene of Zhou Y u’s welcome banquet, there is a short story about this: Zhou Yu was very clever, because of his talent, he was offered to the great general of the Wu State by the King Sun Quan. One day, he held a welcome banquet here to welcome Liu Bei, the king of the Shu Kingdom. In fact, this is a plot. Zhou Yu intended to use this chance to put Liu Bei house arrest here and force him to return Jingzhou City to the Wu Kingdom, but his plot was broken by Zhu Geliang also known as Kongming and didn’t succeed finally. This is the model of the Tang Dynasty’s Yellow Crane Tower, its feature is “magnificent”. This is the model of the Ming Dynasty’s, its feature is “pretty”. This is the model of the Qing Dynasty’s, its feature is “singular”. This is the model of the present Yellow Crane Tower, its feature is “majestic”.Now this is the third storey, we can see a group of murals and a wood carvinghere. This group of murals has exhibited the thirteen famous poets of the Tang and Song Dynasties such as Cui Hao, Li Bai, Yue Fei, Lu You and their poems about the Yellow Crane Tower. Among them Cui Hao wrote the best poem about this tower, which can be translated as follows:Yellow Crane TowerThe immortal has left on a yellow crane,The tower alone on the shore appears. The crane has flown and never come again,The white cloud rolls on through a thousand year.I can see Hangyang trees over the water’s blue,And the green grass on the Parrot Islet grows. In the dusk my village is lost to view,The smoke and ripples but add to my woes. The wood-carving has expressed an ancient Chinese fairy tale: Eight immortals crossed the sea together in a small boat, each one had his own special ability. This is the forth story, it has exhibited a lot of calligraphies and paintings created by the modern famous calligraphers and painters when they visited the Yellow Crane Tower. Here tourists are also welcome to give a signature and write some poems about the Yellow Crane Tower. Now we are in the fifth storey, we can enjoy a group of famous pictures here. I believe that all of you will return with an unforgettable memory.(Brief introduction)Now we are on the way to Yellow Crane Tower. At first, I’d like to outline the general picture of Wuhan for you. Wuhan is in the southeast of China. If you pay attention to the map, you will notice that the shape of Wuhan looks like a butterfly.Through the window, you can see a tower located on the top of the Hill. Yes! This is the Yellow Crane Tower, and the hill is the Snake hill. There are three ancient tower famous nationwide, namely the Yueyang Tower in Hunan Province, the Tengwangge Tower in Jiangxi Province and the Yellow Crane Tower in Hubei Province. With yellow upturned eaves, each floor seems to have been designed to resemble a yellow crane sprea ding its wings to fly. It is a story about kindness and rewarding.Long long ago, there was a warm-hearted man named Xin. He was very poor and ran a small wine shop to earn a living. One day in the summer, the weather was very hot and the sun was very strong, a Taoist priest entered the wine shop and begged the shopkeeper for wine:“Excuse me, I am very thirsty but I haven’t any money. For god’s sake, could you please give me a bowl of wine?” “Sure” the shopkeeper smiled,“ just help yourself ” and gave hi m a bowl of wine. After that, the Taoist often enjoyed the wine without paying money. In order to thank the Xins for this favor of free wine, the Taoist priest drew a magic crane on the wall and told it to dance upon hearingclaps. You can se e that it only has two layers. You will have another30 minutes to look around. If you have any problems, do let me know. I’d like to repeat our bus number WH4321. Please don’t forget it. Seeyou later.(1131)。
