Dear Sir or Madam,
I’m Li Hua, a Chinese student currently studying in London. I have heard the Chinese painting exhibition is to be launched, and I’m writing this letter to apply for a volunteer position.
The reasons why I’m qualified for the job are as follows. Firstly, I am keen on Chinese painting ever since I was a child. As a result, I am familiar with this art form and give very specific introduction to the visitors. Furthermore, I have the capacity to speak Chinese fluently and English at the same time, which makes it no problem for me to help visitors from all over the world.
If I’m chosen to be a volunteer, I would be able to help the visitors understand the paintings with ease and share the history behind those Chinese paintings with them. Thank you for your time.

Better yet, as a Chinese painting lover, I have a good command of this art form, enabling me to help visitors gain a better understanding of the paintings.
