(1) 做“词语对对碰”游戏。
学生两人一组游戏。

学生四人小组活动,每人编一个关于自己爱好的简单小谜语,其他学生猜测爱好是什么,如:I like books. I often go the library. What's my hobby? 其他学生可以猜出该学生的爱好是reading。
(3) 教师出示本单元主情境图,遮盖文字部分,引导学生回忆主人公的语言。

教师引导学生观察A项的hobby book 部分,介绍道:This is Bob’s family hobbybook.并引导学生思考问题:What do you know about Bob’s family hobby book?Do you want to know more?3. 阅读短文,提取信息。
(1) 学生初读文段,了解短文大意。
提问: How many members are there in Bob’s family? Who are they? 教师引导学生在两个空白hobby book 中填写Father和Cat的名称。
(2) 再读文段,提取填写hobby book 的信息。
教师引导学生再读短文,圈出各家庭成员的爱好。
