In many countries, coffee has become a very popular drink. Discuss the reasons for its popularity and the possible effects on society and individuals.范文:Coffee has indeed emerged as an extremely popular drink across numerous countries in recent years. There are several reasons for its widespread popularity.Reasons for Popularity.Firstly, the taste of coffee is rich and diverse. It can be bitter, sweet, creamy or acidic depending on the type of beans, brewing method and additives. For instance, a simple black coffee offers a strong and pure taste that many coffee aficionados adore, while a latte with its smooth milk and a hint of coffee flavor is favored by those who prefer a milder taste. _Secondly, coffee contains caffeine, which is a natural stimulant. Caffeine helps people to feel more awake and alert. In today's fast paced world, many individuals need a boost to start their day or to keep going during long working hours or study sessions. A cup of coffee caneffectively combat fatigue and increase concentration. _ Thirdly, the coffee drinking culture has been promoted by coffee shops. These establishments not only serve coffee but also provide a comfortable and cozy environment for people to relax, socialize or work. For example, Starbucks has spread globally, creating a trendy and inviting space where people can enjoy their coffee while chatting with friends or using their laptops.Effects on Society and Individuals. On an individual level, coffee can have both positive and negative impacts. As mentioned before, it can enhance productivity and mental focus, which is beneficial for students and workers. However, excessive consumption of coffee may lead to problems such as insomnia, restlessness and increased heart rate. For some people, it can also cause digestive issues. _Socially, coffee has become a symbol of a modern lifestyle. Coffee shops are gathering places where people from different backgrounds can meet and interact. This has promoted social communication and cultural exchange. Moreover, the coffee industry has created a large number of jobs, from coffee bean farmers to baristas in coffee shops. However, the popularity of coffee may also lead to a certain degree of homogenization of beverage culture in some areas, as coffee seems to overshadow traditional local drinks in some cases.

Everyone has the choice of being a smoker or not. The people who choose to smoke do so knowing there is a risk of causing harmful damage to themselves. However, I do not entirely agree that these people should have to pay more to receive all the medical treatment they need.I think there are many situations in which a medical problem has nothing to do with whether a person smokes or not. In these cases, where an illness has no relation to smoking, then I believe that smokers should not be required to pay more than other people for their medical treatment. Most car accidents, for example, have no connection with smoking, and the people who are injured ought to have the same medical help, regardless of the cost. And what about the common flu - it does not seem justifiable to me that a smoker should have to pay more to see a doctor for an illness we can all contract. On the other hand, I agree that a smoker should pay more than a non-smoker for the necessary treatment of any condition which has been caused by smoking. The principle that people should take responsibility for their own actions is a good one. Consequently, if a person chooses to smoke knowing that this habit can cause serious health problems, then there is no reason why the community or an insurance company should have to pay for medical treatment for an illness which could have been avoided. In many countries, cigarette packets have a clear warning that smoking can cause health problems and so no smoker can claim not to know the danger. Lung cancer is sometimes a fatal disease and the treatment is both lengthy and expensive, and it is unfair for the smoker to expect the hospital or the community to carry the cost. In fact, it could also be argued that those who smoke in public should be asked to pay extra because of the illness caused to passive smokers. In conclusion, I feel that smokers should pay more in cases related to smoking, but for any other illness they should pay the same as anyoneelse.2. Social welfare is an essential element of an advanced society. Good systems are always abused, but that does not mean they are faulty. In my opinion, the two main reasons why welfare payments are necessary are as follows:First of all, critics forget that there are many forms of welfare besides payments to the unemployed. Their negative opinions harm those who are not capable of earning a wage, such as single-parent mothers, the disabled, and the sick. Moreover, the unemployed have the right to an income, too. They are not always at fault for not having a job, and in most cases the tax they have paid in the past entitles them to assistance. The second reason is that crime increases when people have no means of support. The desperately poor inevitably turn to crime, which is not only dangerous but costly. Policing the streets is more expensive than providing welfare. A policeman's wage is four or five times higher than a "dole" payment.Certain members of society believe that people should look after themselves. They point out that welfare increases dependency on others and destroys dignity. This may be true, but in the case of the unemployed, the relief payments are usually temporary. It is surely the fault of the government if there are long-term unemployed. Welfare critics also believe that it is the responsibility of a victim's family to provide financial assistance. However, it is too expensive to provide complete help for a severely disabled person. To conclude, it is vital to understand the need for welfare in a modern democratic society. Without welfare payments the poor are destined to become poorer. The first duty of a government is to provide a financial safety net for all disadvantaged persons, and that includes those without work.3. Youth drug abuse is a serious problem nowadays in many cultures. Not only is illegal drug use on the rise, but children as young as 10 years old are experimenting with alcohol and tobacco. The reasons for this behaviour are unclear, but certain sociologists blame the examples set by their elders.Parents who drink and smoke to excess are, in effect, telling their children that it is acceptable to abuse their bodies with drugs. Consequently, children may have a similar view towards illegal drugs, even if their parents are against their use. In addition, drug use shown on television and in films can only confuse children who are also taught at school that drug abuse is wrong. The pressure on young people to perform well at school in order to compete for jobs is a possible cause of the problem. Many believe they cannot live up to their parents' expectations, and feel a sense of hopelessness. Also, the widespread availability of drugs means teenagers are faced with the temptation to experiment. Drugs are used as a means of expressing dissatisfaction with the pressures they face in society. The effects of drug abuse are well known. Many young people's talents are wasted, and addiction to hard drugs can cost a user his or her life. Furthermore, those who drink and drive may be involved in fatal road accidents. The cost to society is great, and enormous amounts of money are spent on convicting drug dealers and on education programmes. To conclude, I recommend that the only sensible way to solve this problem is to educate young people about the dangers of drug use, and to take steps to reduce the pressure of competition placed upon them.。

English: Many people argue that zoos are necessary for conservation efforts and education, while others believe that they are cruel to animals and should be shut down. In my opinion, I believe that zoos can serve a valuable purpose in terms of conservation and education if they are well-managed and focus on the welfare of the animals. Zoos can play a crucial role in breeding programs for endangered species, providing a safe environment for animals that are at risk in the wild. Additionally, they can educate the public about the importance of conservation and raise awareness about endangered species. However, it is important for zoos to prioritize the well-being of the animals above all else, ensuring they have large, naturalistic enclosures, proper medical care, and enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated. It is also crucial for zoos to constantly reassess their practices and make improvements based on scientific research and ethical considerations. Overall, while zoos can have a positive impact on conservation and education, it is imperative that they adhere to high standards of animal welfare to justify their existence.

【1】Trade and travel would be a lot easier with a single, global currency that we all use.Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Would a single currency cause any problems?Model Answer:It is clear to me that the idea of a single global currency is an excellent ideal to work towards. There can be no doubt that trade and travel would be vastly easier. On the other hand I believe that it would cause problems today. The benefits of a single currency can be seen with the use in Europe of the Euro. Whenever you are travelling between countries using the Euro, the problems of currency changing and exchange rates are history. Similarly business between countries using the Euros is so much easier; no more worrying about exchange rate risk and pricing. Everyone‛s money is the same. The same thing is true with the US dollar. Most countries do not use the US dollar but it is accepted in many places. There are many countries that you can travel to and just take US dollars to use.At present though a global currency would be impossible. Firstly most countries would not accept the idea. Secondly all countries are in different economic states. Some are economically very strong and some are in a state of collapse withinflation ruining the economy. Such countries could not be brought into a world currency as it would cause massive financial instability worldwide. So it is clear that a global currency would indeed cause some serious problems. So, in conclusion I see a global currency as a future ideal but it will not happen in my lifetime. It would make trade and travel much easier but the problems it would cause nowadays would be insurmountable.

As someone who has received a good education, I can attest to its importance in shaping my future and providing me with opportunities that I may not have had otherwise. One of the most significant benefits of education is the ability to develop critical thinking skills. Through the process of learning, we are taught how to analyze and evaluate information, which is an essential skill in many fields. Why?Model Answer:I am from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. It is a very beautiful city that attracts many people every year. My close friend is going to move here after her graduation. She already found a job and she asked me to help her with an apartment. Knowing her very well I think I can enumerate the majority of things she will like and dislike about my city.First of all, I believe she will like a huge amount of museums, theatres, movie theatres, etc. My friend is from a small town, so, she can not enjoy all these benefits at her native town. Second of all, it seems to me that she will like the way people live here. The pace oflife is much faster here then in a small town. People are always in a hurry, they try to catch a bus, and then they run to the nearest subway station, go to an office, meet new people, etc. Also, I think my friend will like people here. They are very friendly and ready to offer a help to those in need.Unfortunately, my friend will not surely like some things. As a result of a huge amount of cars and factories the air is polluted here. One more thing she will definitely not like is the weather. It is quite humid here. However, I think she will also like the public transport here. The bus services are run by the Government and it is quite regular. If one in a hurry he can take a taxi, which also is quite cheap and provide a good transport. In conclusion, I believe that in spite of all mentioned above disadvantages she will like this city.

1.The Internet has dramatically altered our lives over the past few decades. Although some of these changes have been negative, the overall effect of this technology has been positive. What are your opinions on this? The Internet has brought significant changes to our lives in recent years. Yet, there remains some disagreement as to whether the overall effect of this technology has been positive or negative. While there are certainly valid arguments to the contrary, I personally believe that the benefits of the Internet far outweigh its drawbacks. These benefits are twofold.First of all, it is an indisputable fact that the Internet has revolutionized the way we communicate. Despite the risk of social isolation—a problem occasionally seen in people who spend too much time at their computer terminal rather than relating to people in the real world--- most of us have benefited greatly from e-mail and internet chat programs like MSN Messenger. These incredibly useful and powerful tools of communication facilitate both contact with loved ones in faraway places and global trade.Equally importantly, though, the Internet has placed the entire world (and all of the information in it) at our fingertips. In earlier times, conducting research entailed long hours searching library shelves. Now, however, the same information can be accessed at the click of a button. Admittedly, not all of the information available on the Internet is reliable or helpful---there is a vast amount of material online that some would consider offensive or dangerous, ranging from pornography to instructions on how to make bombs. Nonetheless, I would contend that this free flow of information has generally been a very positive development.By way of conclusion, I once again reaffirm my position that the Internet has had a positive impact on modern life because of its influence on communication and the flow of information.2.Fast food is now universally available in most countries and is becoming increasingly popular. Some feel that this is a positive trend, while others do not. What are your opinions on this? The past 50 years have seen a dramatic increase in the availability of fast food. Some laud its convenience and relatively low cost; however, in this essay I intend to argue that this kind of food is detrimental both to the individuals that consume it and to society at large. There are two primary reasons for this.First of that, it is an undeniable fact that consuming fast food to excess results in serious health problems. Foods such as fried chicken, hamburgers and chips---which are incredibly high in fat and salt---are responsible for such ailments as high blood pressure, obesity and heart disease. Moreover, although I certainly agree that fast food is both affordable and convenient, the cost and inconvenience of treating the illnesses it causes in later life are significant. In order words, while fast food is beneficial in the short term, its long-term effects are generally negative.Further and even more importantly, though, some fast food chains deliberately attempt to attract children in order to shape their future eating habits. One particularly good example of this is the character Ronald McDonald---the bright clothes and smile of the McDonald clown are a beacon to children. Having grown up eating in McDonald restaurants, people are likely to continue eating there throughout their adult lives. It is also interesting to note that McDonald provides playgrounds and frequently holds children’s birthday parties in order to attract young children and their parents.By way of conclusion, I believe that fast food will continue to become more popular as the pace of life increases. Given the health risks associated with this trend, I believe that public education campaigns warning people about the dangers of fast food would be warranted.3.International tourism is now more common than ever before. Some feel that this is a position trend, while others do not. What are your opinions on this? The past 50 years have seen a considerable increase in global tourism. Despite the undeniable economic prosperity it has brought to many host countries, I would argue that the overall impact of international holidaymaking has in fact been negative. Two of the primary drawbacks associated with this trend are as follows.First of all, global tourism tends to export many negative aspects of western culture. Since it is only the wealthy who can afford to travel abroad, developing countries like Thailand and Indonesia have become the playgrounds of tourists from more affluent ones. In many such nations, this influx of mainly western tourists has brought with it problems such as prostitution as well as alcoholism and drug abuse. Admittedly, international tourism does have the potential to foster greater understanding and tolerance between people of different cultures. However, this is unlikely to occur while it remains such a potent symbol of western cultural domination and moral decadence.Even more disturbing, though, is the environmental degradation that international tourism has caused in many parts of the world. One particularly salient example of this is the Great Barrier Reef in Australia --- the countless boats, divers and snorkelers that have visited the reef over the past few decades have gradually destroyed vast sections of coral. Similarly, world renowned Kuta Beach in Bali has become heavily polluted in recent years. In order to be sustainable, greater regulation of global tourism is required. In conclusion, the challenges presented by the booming international tourist industry are numerous and complex. Although they are by no means insurmountable, it is highly unlikely that they will be resolved in the foreseeable future.4. Nowadays, more people are migrating to other countries than ever before. In order to become integrated into society in their adopted countries, immigrants should abandon their old ways and adapt to local customs and codes of behavior. Do you agree or disagree? These days, it seems that more people are migrating to other countries than ever before. This raises certain questions about the integration of newcomers into society. Although there are valid arguments to the contrary, in this paper I will argue that it is the responsibility of immigrants to adapt to accepted rules of behavior in their adopted country, both written and unwritten. The reasons for this are twofold.Firstly, it is vitally important that newcomers observe the laws of their adopted country for the sake of social order. Imagine the chaos that would ensure if people refused to drive on the same side of the road. It is, therefore, necessary for all immigrants to ensure that they observe the law in their new country regardless of any differences to laws in their home country. Two further instances of practices which are permitted in some countries but prohibited in orders are the possession of firearms and gambling.Secondly and more importantly, though, in order to maintain societal cohesion it is essential that newcomers respect the social norms of their adopted country. Of course, having a mixture of different cultures and traditions gives a country colour and vibrancy; however, I would contend that too much cultural diversity undermines a society by alienating people from each other. It is my belief that similarities unite people, whereas differences have a tendency to divide. A strong society is a homogenous society with shared values and goals.By way of conclusion, I believe that this issue is likely to become even more important in the future as borders between countries become increasingly blurred. It, therefore, demands our further consideration.5. Men and women are difficult in terms of their characteristics and abilities. For this reason, some jobs are better done by men and others by women. Do you agree or disagree? These days, it seems that more women are entering “male occupations” than ever before and vice versa. While some still hold to the conservative view that certain jobs are better performed by men and others by women, it is my personal belief that people of either sex are capable of doing any job effectively. The reasons for my position are as follows.First of all, I believe it is a mistake to base our views on broad generalizations about the characteristics of men and women as such stereotypes are often inaccurate. Although there are certainly traits which are typical of men and others which are typical of women, there are exceptions to every rule. Not all women are physically weak, just as not all men are poor interpersonal communicators; conventional gender roles are not appropriate for everybody. If a man or woman desires to pursue a career which is traditionally reserved for the opposite sex, I believe he/she should be provided the opportunity to prove him/herself capable.Secondly, I would contend that the presence of both males and females in a workplace brings a sense of balance. Men and women frequently, though by no means always, have different methods of doing things. Rather than judging these differences to be weaknesses, I feel that we should view them as opportunities for innovation and the discovery of more effective and efficient work practices. A person’s weaknesses can thus be transformed into strengths. In summary, I once again reaffirm my position that both male and female employees are an asset to any industry and as our stereotypes about men and women are not always appropriate, we must not discourage anyone from choosing an occupation simply because of his/her gender.6. Smoking is a major cause of serious illness and death throughout the world today. In the interest of public health, governments should ban cigarettes and other tobacco products. Do you agree or disagree? There are widely differing views on the issue of whether tobacco should be banned or not. Some people would suggest that it is their right to smoke and that prohibiting cigarettes would be a violation of their civil liberties; however, I personally believe that tobacco should indeed be made illegal. There are two principal reasons for this. One point which I believe to be absolutely pivotal is the fact that tobacco is a drug. The majority of governments around the world take a prohibitionist approach to the problem of substance abu se. If governments wish to be consistent in pursuing their “war on drugs”, therefore, I believe they must ban tobacco as well. This is particularly heroin and marijuana---have legitimate medical applications, while tobacco has none. However, perhaps the strongest argument in favor of banning cigarettes and other tobacco products is that of public health. It is an irrefutable fact that smoking leads to lung cancer and other such potentially fatal diseases. Pro-smoking groups would no doubt argue that each individual has the right to determine what goes into his/her own body. Nevertheless, I would suggest that the interests and rights of society at large must override those of the individual. The medical treatment that smokers require is often incredibly costly, and it is frequently governments and society that cover these costs rather than the individual smoker. Hence, I feel that laws prohibiting smoking would be entirely justified. In reality, of course, the widespread prohibition of smoking is unlikely in the near future. However, given the seriousness of the problems that it causes, I believe that this should be the ultimate goal.7. Trying to save endangered animal species from extinction is a waste of valuable resources. Do you agree or disagree? The issue of whether we should attempt to save endangered species from extinction or not is certainly a contentious one. Despite the arguments of some people that such animals serve no useful purpose and should be allowed to die out just as many others (including the dinosaurs) have in the past, it is my personal belief that they should in fact be preserved. Two of the principal reasons for this are as follows.Firstly, it is vital that we appreciate the importance of endangered species in maintaining the balance of nature. Ecosystems are delicate arrangements where plants and animals all depend on each other for survival. The disappearance or introduction of any animal species disrupts the balance and negatively impacts upon other plants and animals by breaking the food chain and altering the habitat in which they live. Such imbalances frequently return to haunt us in unexpected ways. Just as rabbits that were introduced to Australia soon after European settlement now compete with native species for food and destroy farmers’ crops, the extinction of a predator can cause plagues by allowing its prey to multiply unchecked. Therefore, since ecological change constitutes a potential risk to us and our environment, it is clearly I our own interests to protect endangered species.Yet, perhaps the strongest argument in favor of preserving endangered species is that all life has intrinsic value; even if endangered species are not useful to us in any practical way they should be preserved nevertheless. Further, given that we humans are responsible for destroying the natural habitat of many endangered animals, we should make every possible effort to save them.In conclusion, I once again restate my view that saving endangered species is worthwhile. Not only do they help to maintain the balance of nature, but they also have value in and of themselves.8. With divorce rates and family breakdowns increasing globally, it is generally accepted that families today are not as close as they used to be. Discuss the causes of this problem and offer some possible solutions to it.Divorce and family breakdown were virtually unheard of just 100 years ago. Now, however, almost half of all marriages fail. This phenomenon is symptomatic of the growing distance between family members in modern society. In this essay, I intend to explore the sources of this problem along with some possible solutions to it.Chief among the causes of this problem is the modern lifestyle. Today’s parents have to work harder than those of previous generations to support their families. Traditionally, one parent assumed the role of breadwinner, while the other---typically the mother----acted as the homemaker. Recently, though, double income families have become the norm. Consequently, an increasing number of children now grow up in a parentless environment. Little wonder, then, that they feel alienated. Another contributing factor is the passive and solitary nature of many modern forms of entertainment. In order to resolve this sense of alienation within families, I believe we must first address its root causes. Perhaps the most effective method of doing this would be for governments to offer financial incentives to parents who choose to remain at home and take care of their families. Admittedly, such incentives would probably not full compensate couples for lost income; however, they would at least soften the hardship of living on a single income and provide an alternative for parents who would rather remain at home but are unable to do so because of financial constraints. One further measure would be to promote more interactive leisure activities in the community through public education campaigns. In conclusion, I believe that this is clearly a problem of such complexity that to no solution is likely in the short term. However, I believe that the measures outlined above would constitute a good first step.。

Some people think it is important to spend a lot of money on a wedding ceremony, while others believe the money should be spent on a better cause. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.范文:Wedding ceremonies are celebrated by people all around the world, and the traditions and customs vary from culture to culture. Some people believe that it is important to spend a lot of money on a wedding ceremony, while others argue that the money should be spent on a better cause. In my opinion, I believe that it is more important to prioritize spending on more meaningful purposes. On one hand, those who support spending a large amount of money on a wedding ceremony argue that it is a once-in-a-lifetime event that should be celebrated and cherished. They believe that a grand wedding ceremony not only honors the couple and their families but also brings joy and happiness to the guests. Furthermore, some people see the wedding ceremony as an opportunity to showcase their social status by organizing a lavish event. These people believe that spending money on a wedding ceremony is a way to demonstrate their wealth and success toothers. On the other hand, there are people who believe that the money spent on a wedding ceremony could be put to better use. They argue that there are more important things in life than a one-time event. For example, the money could be used to invest in one's future, such as purchasing a house or starting a business. Additionally, some people argue that the money could be donated to charitable causes in order to make a positive impact on society. By diverting the funds from a lavish wedding ceremony to a better cause, individuals can contribute to making the world a better place. In my opinion, I believe that it is more important to spend money on a better cause rather than on a lavish wedding ceremony. While a wedding is an important event in one's life, it is only a single day. In contrast, investing in one's future or contributing to charitable causes can have a long-lasting impact. Furthermore, focusing too much on the material aspects of a wedding can lead to unnecessary stress and financial burden. Therefore, I believe that it is more meaningful to spend money on things that have long-term significance. In conclusion, while some people believe that it is important to spend a large sum of money on a wedding ceremony, others argue that the money should be put to better use. Personally, I believe that it is more important to prioritize spending on more meaningful purposes, such as investing in one's future or making a positive impact on society.。

In many countries, coffee has become a very popular drink. Discuss the reasons for its popularity and the possible effects on health.范文:Coffee has indeed gained tremendous popularity around the world in recent decades. There are several reasons behind this phenomenon.Reasons for Popularity. One of the main reasons for coffee's popularity is its taste. The rich and diverse flavors of coffee, ranging from the mild and smooth to the strong and bitter, can satisfy different palates. For example, some people prefer the light flavored Arabica coffee, while others like the more intense and full bodied Robusta. Additionally, coffee has a distinct aroma that is both inviting and relaxing. Just the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the morning can start a person's day on a positive note.Another factor contributing to its popularity is the energy boost it provides. Coffee contains caffeine, which is a natural stimulant. When consumed, caffeine can increase alertness, reduce fatigue, and improve concentration. This makes it a popular choice among students who need to stay awake during long study sessions, as well as workers who have to be productive throughout the day. For instance, many office workers rely on a cup of coffee in the morning or during breaks to enhance their performance.Social and cultural aspects also play a role. Coffee shops have become a common gathering place in many societies. People like to meet friends, have business meetings, or simply relax in a coffee shop environment. Thecoffee drinking culture has been promoted through various media, such as movies and television shows, where characters are often depicted enjoying a cup of coffee.Possible Effects on Health. In terms of health, coffee has both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, moderate coffee consumption has been associated with several health benefits. Some studies suggest that it may reduce the risk of certain diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, Parkinson's disease, andliver cirrhosis. The antioxidants present in coffee may contribute to these protective effects. For example, polyphenols in coffee can help fight oxidative stress in the body. However, excessive coffee consumption can have negative impacts on health. High levels of caffeine intake may lead to problems such as insomnia, increased heart rate, and jitters. Also, adding too much sugar and cream to coffee can contribute to an increased calorie intake, which may be a concern for those trying to maintain a healthy weight. In conclusion, coffee's popularity can be attributed to its taste, energy providing properties, and social significance. While it can offer certain health benefits when consumed in moderation, excessive intake may pose risks.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?People should read only those books that are about real events, real people, and established facts. Some people think that fiction books have no use at all. They claim that people should read about real events that took place, real people, and established facts. I have to totally disagree with this statement. From my everyday experience and observation I can stand that fiction, miracles and fairy tails are required in our life. For several reasons, which I will mention below, I believe that fiction books play an essential role in our life.First of all, it is kind of difficult to imagine a six year old child reading about politics or history with the real facts that are not always pleasant. I think that children need miracles and Santa Claus because the real world is too plicated for them. They are too innocent and inexperienced to know the real facts and understand what a real life is about. In addition, I am sure that making a child read only non-fiction books can result in shock.Second of all, following this statement about refusing from reading books about fiction events we also should refuse from festivals, parades, and celebration suchholidays as Halloween because most of the characters there are fictional. Moreover, ic books will disappear as well as animated films and fiction movies. The disadvantage of non-fiction lies in the facts that nothing happens to excite the mind and spirit. From the other side, fiction provides a great slope for a mind to think creatively. In conclusion, I think that people need miracles. We can not be satisfied with only naked truth. Human kind must believe in something and this belief helps people break limits and make new inventions.

In recent years, the issue of environmental protection has become a hot topic of discussion. Some people think that individuals cannot do anything to improve the environment, while others believe that everyone has a responsibility to protect the environment. In my opinion, I firmly support the latter view.Firstly, individuals play a crucial role in environmental protection. Every small action we take, such as reducing plastic usage, recycling, and saving energy, can make a difference. For example, by using reusable bags instead of plastic ones, we can reduce the amount of plastic waste that ends up in landfills and oceans. By turning off lights and unplugging electronics when they are not in use, we can save energy and reduce our carbon footprint. These simple actions may seem insignificant, but when millions of people do them, they can have a significant impact on the environment.Secondly, individuals can influence others to care about the environment. When people see their friends, family, or colleagues making efforts to protect the environment, they are more likely to follow suit. For instance, if a person starts using a reusable waterbottle, their friends may be inspired to do the same. This domino effect can lead to a collective effort to protect the environment, creating a positive impact on a larger scale.Furthermore, individuals have the power to advocate for environmental policies and changes. By participating in environmental movements, signing petitions, and contacting local representatives, individuals can contribute to the push for stronger environmental regulations and initiatives. For example, the global movement to ban single-use plastics gained momentum because individuals voiced their concerns and demanded change. This demonstrates the power of individuals in influencing policies and making a difference in environmental protection. In conclusion, while it may seem daunting to address the issue of environmental protection as an individual, it is important to recognize the significant impact that individuals can have. By taking small actions, influencing others, and advocating for change, individuals can play a vital role in protecting the environment. Therefore, I believe that everyone has a responsibility to contribute to environmental protection, and together, we can create a sustainable and healthy planet for future generations.。

Theconstant change of the world has led to the alteration in terms of people’sjobs and occupation life. The multi-career even gains increasing popularityamong Young adults. From the in-depth observation, this trend is triggered bothby the technology innovation and work philosophy hold by the new generation.
Inthe first place, social developments have brought about a more flexible workstyle. It will be really demanding to imagine any point of getting retired fromthe place where their career got initiated.Instead, they are more eager to trynew things and gain fresh experience from frequent job-hopping, from whichtheir life could be made more colorful and diversified. Specifically, the rapidprogress of internet and transport technology makes it possible for people to possessa high degree of mobility. In other words, we are not confined to working inone place as we did in the past. Indeed it is not a rarity that we havebreakfast in Tokyo but conference punctually in the afternoon in Beijing.
Inthe second place, another imperative motivation to the changing jobs or careersderives from the attitudes towards money and life. In most cases, change theirjobs for higher salary as long as striving forward forever is the most acceptedoccupational principles. As for the employees in the poor welfare countries, ifone can get a more appealing offer from some other employer, what is the pointof staying in the original one.
Onlyby job-hopping, people may form a more precise and mature attitudes towards thecareer and thus not being carried away by this ever-changing fickle world. Althoughjob-hopping can be partly attributed to temporary confusing and perplexing, itis mainly heading for a highly mobilized and high-qualified lifestyle which canbe accomplished by marketing and commercial methods.
Asfor companies, they can benefit a lot as well. Frequentjob-hopping byemployees indicates the incompetence in the corporation welfare. ThereforeCompanies should take up an inescapable responsibility through providing alltheir employers with a clear and transparent ladder of promotion, training injob ethics and a sense of responsibility, as well as sufficient benefits inorder to alleviate employee’s impulse s of leaving. By doing so, corporationshave achieved high competence in marketing through continuous adjustment.

Theteenagers on the campus today could nearly capture the latest news timely asthose off-campus adults do. It means that they are able to freely connect theirfriends and relatives through modern communication devices and Internet. However, they are inferior to adults to rationally evaluate the extensiveinformation, incapable of defending the intentional distraction from the junkinformation. Therefore they are vulnerable to be distracted.
Theculprits of the unexpected phenomenon mainly derived from the over-popularityof internet. In past times, even just 5 to 10 years ago, without Wi-Fi ormobile phones, students were relatively isolated on campus. They even watchedfew TV. Students were not capable to achieve the off-campus information or tocommunicate with their net-friends. In addition, the teachers at that timeseemed more focused on supervising and monitoring their students. Hence, theonly entertainment activity for the old times teenagers were restrictedly toread extra-curricular books.
