数词

定义：表示“多少”和“第几”的词，叫数词。其用法相当于名词或者形容词。数词分为基数词和序数词。

一．基数词的表示方法：表示数目的词是基数词。

1．最基本的数词

2．基数词1—12 是独立单词，需逐个记忆。基数词13—19 是在个位数词的词干后加teen 构成。其中thirteen,fifteen,eighteen 变化不规则。基数词20—90是在十位数词后面加ty 构成。基数词21—99是在十位数词后面加上个位数词构成，中间加上连字符“-”。

3．三位数以上的基数词，在百位和十位之间，大凡要用连词“ and。”

4．英语中没有“万”和“亿”，在表示“万”和“亿”时，要按十进位发来推算。

二．基数词的用法

1．从句子成分上分析”基数词在句中可用作主语”宾语”表语等。Four of

them went to the factory.

I want two .

My classmate is eighteen.

2．编号的事物用基数词。

Today we are going to study Lesson One.

3．表示“年”月”日”时年份用基数词”日期用序数词”其顺序由小到大。

Theaccident happened in 2006.

4．表示“几点钟，几点过几分”用基数词。

It 's two o ' clock.

5．用于加减乘除的数字用基数词。

One plus one is two.

6．表示大几倍或者小多少用基数词。

7．表示百分数用基数词。

Thirty percent of them is water.

8．表示分数时，分子用基数词，但分母要用序数词；若分子大于1，分母

上的序数词要用复数形式。

Two-fifths of the books are mine.

9．表示带有小数的词用基数词。小数点前的整数按基数词的规则表示，小数点写，小数点后的数字应按其数字直接表示出来。

10．数词+名词( +形容词)作定语，名词用单数形式。a21-year-old girl

11．两组与数词有关的介词短语：

(1)in +定冠词+数词的复数形式，表示年代

(2)in +物主代词+数词的复数形式，表示某人的年龄in one ' s thirties

三．序数词的表示方法及其用法

1．序数词是表示数目顺序的词

2．序数词一~~~十九除第一，第二，第三，第五，第八，第九，第十二变

化不规则外，其余均在基数词后加上-th3 .整十数词的序数词的构成方法是将整十位数字尾y 变成i 再加-eth

4．几十几的序数词，只要把个位数变成序数词，十位数不变。

5．序数词主要用作定语，表语，前面要加定冠词the .The fifth lesson is very
