Actually, the view of marriage of two generations is deferent from the start to the end. For our parents, marriage can start before love date. Through getting along well with each other, they develop their close relationship gradually. The flower of love flourishes in the course of marriage. However, this can’t be accepted completely by the modern generation. Young people get married only because their love reaches the marriage point. In their opinions, love is the only factor to support their marriage. They spend much time in dating and enjoy the happiness the love brings them.

In course of marriage, there are two completely different kinds of love existing. For the parents, marriage is the obligation of life and promise of love. They might love each other but not in love any more. That is to say, the love between them is some kinds of family love. They undertake the responsibility of each other and have the same aim to keep the family as a whole.

However, if the young generation’s love dies away and can’t keep at the marriage point, they might choose to devoice. They can’t bear their romantic love transforming into family love. A couple of newlywed people decide to devoice three months after wedding. They had dated for five years, struggling through all kinds of abstraction. The realistic beats their five years’love. They find that they love each other in the date rather than in the family. Their love can’t transform into the obligation of family as their parents.

Marriage plays a vital role in their fame for last generation. Divorce is chosen only when there is no other choice. In their eyes, a person getting divorced with his partner must have some problems in his fame. Their divorce can't be mentioned in front of people. Nowadays, they will bless each other and become the friends. What divorce means to them is that they can’t get well in a family but the love between them can’t be ignored. A person divorce may not bring equal harm to his fame and social life as his parents.
