三杯茶读书笔记

"The first time you share tea with a Balti, you are a stranger. The second time you take tea, you are an honored guest. The third time you share a cup of tea, you become family..."- this is Three Cups of Tea and how it got this name. Definitely, I see a really touching story about promise, responsibility, devotion and love. This book describes how Mr.Mortenson, a mountaineer, got lost while trekking in northern Pakistan, only to be rescued by the residents of a remote village. Greg Mortenson was rescued, he know how to thank other people.So he ignored the reality of barren.And finally he insist on trying to use his own strength to carry it,and finally ended this mission impossible with great triumph.

The book describes the Himalayan hard life: poor natural conditions, backward "civilization", and the children who need help.It is unimaginale how many challenges Mortenson faced in his quest to raise funds for the building of more than 55 schools in Taliban territory. Some of these challenges included death threats from Islamic mullahs, long periods of separation from his family, and being kidnapped by Taliban sympathizers. When I was reading the chapters related to his being kidnapped, I was really concerned about him and afraid that he would die.God has two dwellings, one in heaven, and the other in a meek and thankful heart. Be grateful to others is a way to show your love. In our daily life, we often receive help from our parents, friends, colleagues and

strangers. Perhaps it is a little thing, pick up the pen you drop, lift a heavy box for you or offer you a seat in the bus. We should be thankful to them for whatever they have done. The more love you give, the more love you receive.

A lost produce a promise;A promise has produced a great cause.This is a story of three cups of tea.Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul. Be thankful for whatever you have, give and receive.A sense of gratitude can acknowledging our interdependent existence. You will be ready to help others if you have a thankful heart. In the book, he says the kindness of those he encountered inspired him to build a school.In a word, everybody will be touched by it- one man's mission to fight terrorism and build nations by builing one school at a time through countless untold hardships.
