The night watch is the most famous and controversial works in the life of Rembrandt.

（Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn，16061669） Born in Holland, Leiden.his father is a Miller, the mother is the daughter of a baker. He is one of the greatest painters in Europe in seventeenth Century,and he is also the history of Holland's greatest painter. He is good at portraits, landscapes, genre paintings and religious paintings. Rembrandt and his wife had 4 children,But Only the youngest child live.
It happen in 1642.That year there were 16 guys asked Rembrandt to paint them.At that time, the Night Watch got into a serious trouble.Because each people had paid the same money, but the picture did not arrange the same position and clarity for them. So they asked to change it, but Rembrandt refused.Sixteen people very angry and Rembrandt was indicted.The whole city is full of ridicule on Rembrandt.
