Amir’s marriage
In the beginning his father-in-law did not agree with the wedding , but Amir married to the captain’s daughter at the last.
Amir’s marriage is happy , but they don’t have any child.
Part One Amir's father loves both Amir and Hassan but seems critical of Amir for not being manly enough.So the relationship between the father and the son isn't that close.Fortunately,Rahim understands Amir well and supports Amir's dream of being a writer.
Already jealous of Baba's love for Hassan,Amir forces Hassan and Ali to leave with some trick.

Part Two Five years later, the Soviets invade Afghanistan.Amir and Baba escape to America And Amir gain a bachlor's degree of writing in college.
What's the significance of the novel's tittle?
In Afghanistan，flying kites is a very important and holly event. When someone wins the kite fighting competition,he has to run after and catch the kite that has been cut off by him. The broken kite shows his victory and honor.
Amir encounter his Soraya and they eventually settle down in a happy marriage. However, to their sorrow,Amir's father die because of illness and later they learn they cannot have children.

The reasons:
1.)The part reminds us the similar moment when Hasson said the same six words to Amir in their childhood.It's the moment that impresses us deeply,not only for the words,but Hassan's "goddam"loyalty.
Amir’s baba Amir’s baba was always a great man in
everyownhei’leshheemaratd, e a very evil mistake and keep this secret after his death. He betrayed the people who woule have given his live for him.
Amir watched Hassan was brutally raped , but never had the courage to go up to save him . After home , Amir feel ashamed for his cowardice . Every day the face to Hassan let his heart get torment . Amir chose to let Hassan leave away , and Hassan chose to say nothing and do nothing .
Amir wins the local tournament, and finally Baba's praise. Hassan goes to run the last cut kite but is raped by Assef on the way back. Although Amir witnesses the rape, he is too scared to intervene.
• Hassan is braver and more honest than Amir.
• Hassan is too kind and doesn’t give him the punishment so his sins couldn’t get relief.
After the kite fighting tournament why does Amir no longer want to be Hassan’s friend ?
Part Three In Pakistan,Rahim tells Amir that Hassan had a wife and a son,but Hassan and his wife were murdered by the Taliban,leaving his son Sohrab an orphan.And actually Hassan is Amir's half-brother.

It's the moment when Amir says "For you,a thousand times over"to Hassan's son
Amir takes Sohrab back to America and adopts him with his wife.
Why is Amir afraid to be Hassan’s true friend ?
• Amir was Pashtun but Hassan was a Hazara. Hassan is his servant .
2.)It's our consolation to see the great change that Amir has got.He does find the way to be good again as Rahim said before. He eventually releases his guilty feeling to Hassan,which is his redemption.
• Amir is so coward that he can’t believe Hassan could do everything for him whatever is difficult .
Why does he recent Hassan ?
• Amir hate Hassan to get too much praise and reward from his father , oppositely Amir is little .

Although he was very cruel to Hassan sometime and teasing him as a toy, in his heart he treated Hassan as not only friend but more like a brother .
• That Amir baba treat his servant well make he envy .
Why does Amir constantly test Hassan’s loyalty ?
• Amir is a coward person , always face to difficult wait for Hassan’s deal with the problem . Amir overly rely on Hassan so he afraid Hassan treat him disloyally .
Amir achieves a great success in his career as a novelist. Fifteen years later, Amir receives a call from Rahim to asks him to come to Pakistan.

Rahim asks Amir to rescure Sohrab.And Amir successfully saves Sohrab from Assef's hand after Sohrab has been maltreated,though,which seems his redemption.
• Hassan can jump down his throat when he was cheated , but Amir was always protected by Hassan , so Amir thought he was small in front of Hassan .
• Hassan never say nothing about Amir’s evil mind made Amir felt guilty.
