一．数词的定义：表示数目多少和数目顺序的词叫做数词。

二．数词的分类：基数词和序数词。

1）基数词：表示数目多少的词。

1——10 11——19 20——90 一百至百万

b.基数词的构成：

①1—12 无规律就是死记硬背。

②13—19词尾都有teen。（要注意thirteen, fifteen, eighteen拼写的变化）

③20—90是十位整数基数词加后缀-ty (要注意thirty, forty, fifty, eighty拼写的变化)

④“几十几”的表示法是十位数和个位数基数词间用连词符“-”连起来，如：

twenty-one等。

⑤101至999的表示法：先说百位，再加and，然后十位，连词符，最后是个位。

如：141 one hundred and forty-one

⑥1001至9999的表示法：先说千位，然后是逗号，百位，再and，十位，连词符，

个位。

2) 序数词:表示数目顺序的词。序数词前要加the。

b.序数词的构成：记住下面的顺口溜既可。

基变序有规律，结尾字母th。

一二三特殊记，结尾字母tdd。

八去t, 九去e, f要把ve替。

ty将y变成i, th前面有个e。

几十几也好记只变个位就可以。

三．数词的表示法

2）编号表达法

在表示有编号的事物时，可用基数词，也可用序数词，但表现形式不同。如：

①第六十九页page sixty-nine

②八路公共汽车Bus Number Eight

③第208房间Room 208

④第十六中学the No. 16 Middle School

⑤一年级Grade One, 五年级二班Class 2, Grade 5

⑥第四册Book Four 或the Fourth Book

⑦第二十课Lesson Twenty 或the Twentieth Lesson

⑧习题三Exercise Three 或the Third Exercise

⑨张自忠路1490号1490Zhangzizhong Road.

⑩电话号码以基数词形式按顺序读出。
