Having a crush is both really exciting and really scary at the same time!My older sister told me that's just puppy love though, and that real love between two people is way deeper than that. She's 16 and has had a few boyfriends already. She says when you're really in love, you want to spend all your time with that person. You never get tired of them and you accept them for who they are, flaws and all. That sounds really nice, but also like it takes a lot of work!I've seen movies and TV shows that are all about love too. There are romantic comedies where two people go through a bunch of funny situations before finally realizing they're made for each other. And there are romantic dramas where the main characters have to overcome huge obstacles like distances, tragedies, or other people trying to keep them apart. But no matter what, their love for each other gets them through it in the end. Those movies always make me cry happy tears.Those are just made-up stories though. Real love happens all around us every day with our families and friends too. I love my parents so much for everything they do for me and my siblings. We can be brats sometimes and make them mad, but they never stop caring for us. That's true parental love. And I love my best friend Jessica. We've been buddies since we were babies and tell each other everything. Having a friend you can count on and trust with your deepest secrets is definitely a type of love.There's also love between all different types of people too. Teachers love helping their students learn and grow. Doctors and nurses love taking care of people when they're sick or hurt. Military people and first responders love protecting people and keeping them safe. Volunteers love helping others in need withno expectation of anything in return. Loving actions from people of all backgrounds make the world a better place.I'm lucky that I get to witness love everywhere I go. At home, at school, at church, in my neighborhood, on TV, in movies, and in books. Love is universal and transcends all barriers like age, race, religion, gender, or geography. It brings out the best in people and lets us become the best version of ourselves. Love pushes us to new heights and inspires us to persevere through the toughest challenges. Need I say more? Love makes the world go round!Sometimes my friends and I wonder if love is real or just made up. But then we see examples of it all around and it's clear that love is 100% real. My friends who have older brothers and sisters see them going through heartbreaks and tough times with their boyfriends and girlfriends. But they always come out stronger and more appreciative of real love on the other side. Their stories of love gone wrong and then right again prove that love is not just a fantasy. It's a powerful force that's bigger than any one person.When my grandma was alive, she used to say that love never gets old. She had been married to my grandpa for over 60 years! Even after all that time, they were still SO in love. They heldhands everywhere they went, kissed each other on the cheek, and just radiated pure joy whenever they were together. It gave me such a warm, fuzzy feeling seeing two people still so smitten after a lifetime of being married. I could tell their love was deeper than the ocean and stronger than a mountain. If that's not proof that love is timeless, I don't know what is!My friends and I have lots of time to experience all the different types of love as we keep getting older. We can't wait to someday experience romantic love and find our soulmate to share our life with, just like our parents, grandparents, and all the great love stories we've seen and read about. But in the meantime, we're perfectly happy to keep soaking up the unconditional loving bonds we have with our families, friends, teachers, and everyone else who helps shape our lives.In the end, love is simply the universal language that every single person can understand, no matter who you are or where you're from. Love lives within all of us and fuels our hopes, dreams, and ability to overcome any obstacle. Whether you're 5 years old or 105 years old, you can never escape the beauty and power of love. It has always been a part of the human experience and will continue to be forever and ever. Love is truly a timeless topic and part of what makes our world so incredibly amazing.。
