2020江西专升本真题英语范文
2020江西专升本真题英语范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Life as a KidHi there! My name is Lucy and I'm 8 years old. I'm in the 3rd grade at Sunnydale Elementary School. Today I want to tell you all about my life as a kid. Being a kid is the best! We get to play, learn new things every day, and have really cool adventures. Let me give you the full scoop on what it's like.Every morning, my mom comes into my bedroom and gives me a great big hug to wake me up. "Rise and shine, sleepyhead!" she'll say with a smile. I love waking up to hugs from my mom. It makes me feel so loved and safe. Then I hop out of bed and head to the kitchen for breakfast. My favorite thing to eat is pancakes with syrup and bananas. Mmmm, so yummy! After I'm done eating, I brush my teeth really well. My mom is always reminding me how important it is to take good care of my teeth. Then I get dressed for school. I love putting on my favorite outfits - maybe a dinosaur t-shirt with jean shorts, or asparkly dress if I'm feeling extra fancy. Once I'm all ready, I grab my backpack and lunchbox and head out the door. The best part of my day is going to school! I love seeing all my friends and learning new things from my teacher, Mrs. Baker. She makes everything so fun and interesting. In the mornings, we usually start with math lessons. I really like math because it's like solving puzzles. Then we have reading time, where we practice our reading skills and discuss great books. My favorite stories are the ones with magic and adventure! At lunch time, I get to eat the yummy food my mom packs for me and play outside with my friends. We have so much fun running around on the playground, going down the slides, and playing tag or hopscotch. Sometimes we also like to collect cool rocks or look for bugs. There's always something interesting to discover outside. In the afternoons at school, we have science, social studies, art, and music. Science is awesome because we get to do experiments and learn about how the world works. In art, I love being creative and making masterpieces with paint, clay, or other crafty materials. Music class is really fun too - we sing songs and learn to play instruments like the recorder or hand bells. After school, I like to have a snack and relax for a little while. Then I'll work on any homework I have for the day. Once that's done, it's free time! I love playing imaginative games with my toys, riding my bike around the neighborhood with friends, or reading comic books. My parents make sure I get outside and run around to get exercise too.For dinner, we'll have a yummy home-cooked meal like spaghetti, tacos, or stir-fry. Then we'll watch a family movie or play a board game together. My favorite games are Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders. Finally, it's time for my bedtime routine - taking a bath, brushing my teeth again, putting on pajamas, and picking out a few bedtime stories for my parents to read to me. I love cuddling up with them and listening to wonderful tales before drifting off to sleep. On the weekends, we'll often do fun family activities like going to the park, beach, or museum. Sometimes we'll take little day trips to explore new places. Or we'll just spend a cozy day at home baking cookies and playing in the backyard. I also love having friends over for play dates! We run around with seemingly endless energy until we're totally tuckered out.Being a kid is nonstop excitement, joy, and new experiences. Every day is an adventure filled with learning, playing, spendingtime with loved ones, and just being free to enjoy life's simple pleasures. We get to use our imaginations to the fullest and approach the world with wonder. While grown-ups have to worry about work and responsibilities, us kids can simply focus on having fun!篇2My Awesome School DaysHiya! My name is Jimmy and I'm ten years old. I love going to school and learning new things every day. Our school is the best ever! It has this huge playground with swings, slides, and even a basketball court. Recess is always a blast! My favorite subject is science. We get to do all sorts of cool experiments! Just last week, we made little volcanoes erupt with baking soda and vinegar. It was so awesome seeing the "lava" foam up. I also really enjoy art class. We can draw, paint, sculpt with clay - anything we want! I made this rad sculpture of a dinosaur that my mom hung up in our living room. She said it was "incredibly creative." I think she meant "incredibly" but it's ok, she's just a grown-up.The cafeteria food is pretty good too. They have chicken nuggets, pizza, and even this weird but yummy dish called"sloppy joes." It's like a meat sandwich but super messy. I always make sure to wear my lucky Star Wars t-shirt on sloppy joe days so my mom doesn't get too mad if I spill some on it.Recess and lunch are fun times to hang out with my best friends Jack and Emma. We're like the Three Musketeers! We play tag, tell jokes, and talk about our favorite TV shows. Jack's favorite is this silly cartoon with a sponge who lives in an underwater pineapple. How crazy is that? Emma is obsessed with these books about wizards and magic schools. I prefer the superhero comics myself.Writing essays like this one is kind of fun though. I get to use my imagination and creativity. One time I wrote a story about travelling to Mars and fighting an alien overlord. My teacher, Mrs. Robinson, absolutely loved it! She said I had a "flair for descriptive sci-fi writing." I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I'll take it as a compliment.Overall, I feel pretty lucky to be a student at such an amazing school. Sure, it can be hard work at times, but it's worth it to learn so many fascinating things. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be a famous astronaut exploring other planets and galaxies! Or maybe I'll be a best-selling author like J.K. Rowling. The possibilities are endless when you're a kid. For now, I'm justgonna keep having fun, making friends, and soaking up as much knowledge as I can. Elementary school may not last forever, but the memories sure will!篇3My Life as a Primary School StudentHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a 10-year-old girl studying in the fifth grade. Today, I want to tell you all about my life as a primary school student. It's a fun and exciting journey, but it also comes with its own challenges and responsibilities. Buckle up, because this is going to be a wild ride!Every morning, I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock blaring its annoying tune. I groan and try to hit the snooze button, but my mom always comes into my room and gives me a gentle shake, reminding me that it's time to get ready for school. Reluctantly, I drag myself out of bed and head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get dressed.Once I'm all ready, I grab my backpack and head downstairs for breakfast. My favorite is pancakes with maple syrup, but sometimes we have to settle for cereal or toast. After gulping down my breakfast, I say goodbye to my parents and hop onto the school bus.The bus ride is always an adventure! My friends and I chat excitedly about the latest movies, TV shows, or video gameswe've been obsessed with. We also like to swap stories about our crazy siblings or the funny things our pets did over the weekend. Sometimes, we even sing along to the radio, much to the annoyance of the bus driver. When we finally arrive at school, the real fun begins! My first class is usually math, which I've always found challenging. I struggle to keep my mind from wandering off and daydreaming about playing outside or watching cartoons. But my teacher, Mrs. Johnson, is really patient and helps me understand the concepts better. After math, we have language arts, which is one of my favorite subjects. I love reading stories and writing my own little tales about princesses, superheroes, or talking animals. Our class also has a special "author's chair" where we get to share our stories with everyone else.Recess is undoubtedly the highlight of my day! I rush out to the playground with my friends, and we play all sorts of games like tag, hopscotch, or jump rope. Sometimes, we even have friendly competitions to see who can swing the highest on the swings or go down the slide the fastest.Lunchtime is another exciting part of the day. I love opening up my lunchbox to see what delicious treats my mom has packed for me. Sometimes it's a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, other times it's leftovers from last night's dinner. My friends and I trade snacks and compare our lunches, always trying to get our hands on each other's favorite treats. After lunch, we have science or social studies, where we learn about fascinating topics like the solar system, animals, or different cultures around the world. These subjects always spark my curiosity, and I bombard my teacher with endless questions. Finally, the school day ends, and I head back home on the bus, already dreaming about the homework I have to complete and the TV shows I'll get to watch. Once I'm home, I quickly grab a snack and get started on my assignments, trying my best to focus and get them done as quickly as possible. After finishing my homework, I have some free time to play outside with my friends or indulge in my favorite hobbies, like drawing, reading, or building with Lego bricks. Sometimes, we even have sleepovers or playdates, which are always a blast! As the day winds down, my family gathers for dinner, and we talk about our day. My parents always ask me篇4My Big Family AdventureHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I just had the craziest summer with my huge family and I can't wait to tell you all about it! We went on this massive trip to visit my grandparents who live on the other side of the country. I wasn't sure I wanted to go at first because it meant being trapped in a car for daysss with my annoying little brother Tommy and my dumb older sister Susie. But my mom and dad promised it would be an epic adventure, so I decided to give it a chance. Boy, am I glad I did! This ended up being the best family vacation ever.Okay, so the drive to get to Grandma and Grandpa's house took forever. Like, literally forever. We're talking three straight days of being stuck in the car, taking turns sitting in the wayback because somebody (cough, cough, Tommy) doesn't know how to share nicely. The first day wasn't too bad though. We played road trip games like I Spy and tried seeing how many differently colored cars we could count. We even got to stop at this giant rabbit statue in the middle of nowhere which was kinda cool. But by the second day, we were all sick of each other. Tommy wouldn't stop kicking the back of my seat, Susie had herheadphones in and was ignoring all of us, and Mom and Dad just seemed grumpy from having to drive so much. We stopped at a couple of rundown motels along the way and I'm pretty sure one of them had bedbugs or something because I woke up with all these itchy red bumps all over my legs. Not fun!Still, we finally made it to Grandma and Grandpa's house on the third day and that's when the real fun began. Their house is right next to this huge lake where we went swimming, had barbecues and even went fishing a few times. I actually caught a massive bass that was nearly as big as me! Grandpa had to help me reel it in, but I did most of the work. We all took turns staying up late by the fire pit in their backyard, singing campfire songs and making s'mores. Aunt Rachel even showed us how to bake potatoes right in the fire like cabins do. They tasted amazing with all that gooey cheese and bacon on top! Some days we went on little hikes through the forest near their house. Grandma always brought tons of snacks and drinks in her backpack to keep us fueled up. We spotted deer, rabbits, and once I'm pretty sure I even saw a bear from pretty far away! Grandpa said it was probably just a really big dog, but I'm not so sure. We found a cool little swimming hole too where the waterwas extra clean and cold. After hiking all day, it felt incredible to just jump right in.Other days, we drove into the nearby town to do stuff. We went to an arcade one day and I totally destroyed Tommy and Susie at air hockey and skeeball. Your big bro's got mad skills! Another day we visited this aquarium that had alligators, sharks, and even a spot where you could pet stingrays in a shallow pool. Their skin felt so weird and bumpy! There was also a nature park in town with this great playground that had really tall slides and a massive wooden fort that you could climb all over. Us kids must have spent hours just running around, climbing up and down, having contests to see who was brave enough to go down the craziest slides. Sometimes the parents would play too which was pretty funny seeing my dad get stuck trying to fit through a tiny hole in the fort. He got a massive grass stain on his favorite khaki shorts that day!And you know what was crazy? I didn't even miss my video games or my phone that much during the whole trip. Yeah, we had to follow Grandma and Grandpa's super strict rule about not being allowed to use any screens or electronics while we were visiting. But there was just so much outdoorsy stuff to do andexplore that I never really had a chance to get bored. We were all so active every single day that by nighttime, we were just exhausted and happy to sit around the fire pit listening to Grandpa's stories about when he was a kid.My favorite memory though was definitely when we all went down to the lake for a picnic and decided to have a huge water fight and splash battle. We split into two teams - kids vs. adults - and it got completely out of hand! We were dumping buckets of water on each other, pushing people into the lake, spraying the hose everywhere. Everyone was soaking wet and covered in mud by the end. Even Susie stopped being such a grandma's girl and really got into it. I hit Mom smack in the face with a water balloon at one point and she could not stop laughing. That's an image I'll never forget.By the time we had to leave and start the three day drive back home, we were all just drained but in the best way possible.I was so sad to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa. We all piled back into the car covered in dirt and grass stains to begin the long trip home. But this time, there were no games of I Spy or complaints about being bored. We just talked and laughed and relived all the incredible memories we had made together over those few weeks. Even Tommy wasn't annoying! I'll be honest, Iwas a little worried about how I would make it through the summer being totally disconnected with my friends back home and not having my Xbox to play. But looking back, I'm so glad we went on this trip instead. It was the best bonding time a family could ask for. We're already counting down the days until we can go back and make more awesome memories with Grandma and Grandpa next summer!篇5My Big English Test AdventureHi everyone! My name is Xiaoming and I'm 10 years old. I just took a really big important test called the Jiangxi Province English Exam for going from junior college to university. It was super hard but also kind of fun and I want to tell you all about it!First of all, I had to wake up super early, even earlier than for school. My mom made me a huge breakfast with eggs, rice, vegetables, and even some chicken feet which are my favorite. She said I needed lots of energy for the big test. My dad drove me to the testing center and it was this huge building that kind of looked like a castle. I was really nervous! When I went inside there were tons of other kids my age and they all looked nervous too. The teachers were very serious andtold us to line up perfectly straight. We had to go through a metal detector like at the airport to make sure we didn't have any cheating devices or anything. I was glad I didn't bring any snacks or toys with me!Then we were led into the testing room and it was gigantic! There were probably 500 desks in there, all perfectly lined up in rows. The ceiling was super high too. We all had to find our assigned seat and sit down quietly. The teachers had already put the test booklets face down on each desk. After we were all seated, the head teacher came to the front and made some announcements over a microphone. He reminded us of all the test rules like no cheating, no talking, and to follow all the instructions carefully. Then he set a timer for 3 hours and said "You may now begin the exam!"I took a deep breath, said a little prayer, and turned over my test booklet. The first section was listening comprehension. We had to listen to some recordings through headphones and answer questions about what we heard. That part wasn't too bad since we practice listening exercises a lot at my school.Next up was a reading section with some long reading passages and questions. That part was really hard! The passages were about history, science, and other subjects I'm not alwaysthat good at. I had to read them over and over very carefully to try to understand. After that was the writing section where we had to write an essay about an assigned topic. I don't remember exactly what the topic was, but I tried my best to come up with a thesis, some supporting points, and good examples. Writing has never been my strongest area so I was pretty worried about that part. The part I was most confident about was the grammar and vocabulary section. We've studied English grammar rules a ton in my classes, so I feel like I did decently well on that part, identifying errors and filling in blanks and so on.By the time we got to the very last section which was speaking, my brain was pretty fried from concentrating so hard! For the speaking part, a teacher came around to each desk and asked us questions one-on-one that we had to respond to out loud. I stumbled and stammered a bit, but I attempted to give coherent replies to the best of my ability. After the grueling 3 hour test was finally over, I was just exhausted. My hand was cramped from all that writing. But I also felt a huge sense of relief and accomplishment for giving it my full effort. As I was leaving, my dad was waiting outside and gave me a big proud hug.A few weeks later, I got my test scores back in the mail. I didn't do amazing, but I also didn't fail which was my biggest fear. I scored about average overall which wasn't too shabby considering how difficult that test was! My parents were proud of me just for working so hard to prepare and putting forth my best effort.Even though it was really challenging, looking back I'm glad I got to experience taking an important real-world test like that. It helped get me ready for future big tests and challenges I'll face as I get older. It probably seems crazy that a 10-year-old had to take such an intense exam, but that's just how we do things here in Jiangxi Province when it comes to education! If you ever have to take a huge standardized test like that, my advice would be to get plenty of rest, eat a nutritious breakfast, stay focused and don't get discouraged, and just try your very best. Tests are temporary but the lessons you learn from working hard last forever. And who knows, maybe I'll be taking the real gaokao university entrance exam before you know it! Wish me luck!篇6My School DaysHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 9 years old. I'm in 4th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. Today I want to tell you all about my days at school.I wake up pretty early, around 6:30am. My mom comes into my room and says "Rise and shine sleepyhead! Time to get ready for school." I groan a little but then hop out of bed. I get dressed, brush my teeth, and go downstairs for breakfast. My favorites are pancakes, waffles, or Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. After breakfast, I put on my backpack and my mom drives me to school. The bell rings at 8:15am so we have to leave by 7:45am to get there on time. I don't like being late! When I arrive, I go straight to my classroom and put my backpack in my cubby. My best friend Sarah is usually there already so we chat until the morning bell rings. The first class of the day is math. I used to not like math very much, but this year I've been getting better at it. My teacher Mr. Martinez is really good at explaining things. After math, we have reading and writing. I love reading time! We just finished the book Charlotte's Web which was so sad but had a happy ending. For writing, we're learning how to write persuasive essays.Around 11:30am, we get ready to go to lunch and recess. My mom packs me a lunch but I also like to get the school pizza onFridays - it's my favorite! At recess, me and my friends like to play on the monkey bars, swings, or have running races. Sometimes we also play four square or hopscotch. After lunch and recess, we have science class. We just started a new unit on ecosystems which is really interesting. We even get to go on a field trip to the nature center next month. I can't wait! Our last class of the day is social studies where we're learning about the 50 states. Finally, at 3:00pm the ending bell rings and we get ready to go home. The bus riders line up first, and then the car riders and walkers. My mom picks me up everyday. In the car, she always asks me about my day. When I get home, I have a snack and start my homework right away so I can play outside when I'm done.In the evenings, we have dinner as a family. My mom is a good cook - my favorite meals are her spaghetti and meatballs or her famous mac and cheese. After dinner, I take a bath and then have a little free time to read, color, or play before going to bed around 8:30pm.And that's a typical day in my life as a 4th grader! School keeps me really busy with all the different classes and activities. Even though it can be tiring some days, I enjoy learning newthings and spending time with my friends and teachers. Being a kid is hard work but it's also a whole lot of fun!。

Give your opinion and provide examples to support your response.Answer:Living in cities has become a trend for many people in recent years due to the various advantages it offers. However, this trend also comes with its own set of disadvantages. One of the main advantages of living in a city is the abundance of job opportunities. Cities are hubs for various industries and businesses, providing individuals with a wide range of career options. Additionally, cities often offer higher salaries and better career prospects compared to rural areas. This economic advantage is a major draw for many people looking to advance their careers.Another benefit of city living is the access to amenities and services. Cities are equipped with modern facilities such as shopping malls, restaurants, entertainment venues, and healthcare facilities. This convenience makes life easier and more enjoyable for city dwellers. In addition, cities usually have bettertransportation systems, allowing residents to travel easily within the city and to other parts of the country. However, living in a city also has its drawbacks. One of the main disadvantages is the high cost of living. Housing prices in cities are usually much higher than in rural areas, making it difficult for some individuals to afford a comfortable living space. Additionally, other expenses such as transportation, food, and entertainment can also be more expensive in cities.Furthermore, the fast-paced lifestyle of cities can lead to increased stress and health problems. The crowded and noisy environment of a city can be overwhelming for some individuals, leading to mental and physical health issues. In contrast, rural areas offer a more peaceful and relaxed way of life, which can be beneficial for one's well-being.In conclusion, while living in a city offers many advantages such as job opportunities and access to amenities, it also comes with drawbacks such as the high cost of living and increased stress levels. Ultimately, the decision to live in a city or rural area depends on individual preferences and priorities.IV. Translation26. 此外,团队成员之间的良好合作是取得成功的关键。

2022江西专升本英语作文真题及范文
2022江西专升本英语作文真题及范文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite ThingsHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I go to Sunny Hills Elementary School and I'm in 3rd grade. Today, my teacher Mrs. Johnson asked us to write about our favorite things. I have a lot of favorite things, so I'm going to tell you about my top 3!My Number 1 Favorite Thing: My Dog BuddyMy very most favorite thing in the whole wide world is my dog Buddy. He's a golden retriever and he's the cutest, fluffiest, most adorable dog ever! I got Buddy for my 6th birthday and he's been my best friend ever since.Buddy loves to play fetch and go for walks. His favorite game is when I throw his tennis ball and he runs really fast to go get it. Then he brings it back and drops it at my feet so I can throw it again. We can play fetch for hours!Buddy is also really good at doing tricks. He can sit, stay, roll over, shake hands, and even dance on his hind legs when I hold atreat up high. My parents taught him most of his tricks, but I taught him how to dance myself. I'm so proud of my smart pup!I love cuddling up with Buddy on the couch to watch movies together. He's so soft and warm and he always lets me use him as a pillow. Sometimes he even watches the TV too and tilts his head in a funny way when there are animal sounds.Buddy is the sweetest, most loving dog. Whenever I'm sad or upset about something, he always comes and snuggles up to me to make me feel better. Dogs really are a human's best friend. I don't know what I'd do without my Buddy! My Number 2 Favorite Thing: Ice CreamMy second favorite thing is ice cream! Mmm, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. There are so many amazing flavors - chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, butter pecan, rocky road, and about a million more. My personal favorites are chocolate peanut butter cup and coffee toffee crunch.Ice cream is the perfect treat on a hot summer day. It's so refreshing and delicious. I love when the ice cream is a little melty so you can drink the sweet creamy puddles at the bottom. My parents take me to get ice cream at Palmer's Parlor downtown every Saturday night. It's been around since the 1950s and they make their ice cream fresh everyday with really high quality ingredients. You can get it in a cup, cone, milkshake, sundae, or even a big ole' banana split! One time I ate so much rocky road ice cream that I got a horrible stomachache and brain freeze. I learned my lesson that day - pace yourself with the ice cream! Now I try to savor and enjoy it slowly.I can't wait until I'm older so I can get a job at an ice cream shop. How fun would it be to scoop ice cream all day? I'd probably get sick of it after awhile and not want to eat it anymore, but maybe not. Ice cream is just the best!My Number 3 Favorite Thing: Arts & CraftsMy third favorite thing is arts and crafts. I love using my creativity and imagination to make all sorts of fun projects. Painting, drawing, coloring, sculpting with clay, making jewelry, assembling scrapbooks and collages - I like it all!Every week, my mom takes me to Michael's craft store and lets me pick out a new art supply or project kit. One week I got a ceramics set to paint my own figurines. Another time I bought abunch of colorful feathers, beads, and pipe cleaners to make arts and crafts dreamcatchers. At school, art class is my favorite period. Our teacher Mrs. Thompson brings in all kinds of interesting materials for us to create with, like popsicle sticks, egg cartons, aluminum foil, tissue paper, googly eyes, and so much more. We make sculptures, baskets, puppets, greeting cards, and dozens of other masterpieces. For my 7th birthday party, we had an arts and crafts theme. All my friends came over and we decorated our own visors, made friendship bracelets, colored on canvases with splatter paint, and made stress balls out of balloons and flour. It was such a fun, creative, and mess-filled day!I keep every single arts and crafts project I've ever made in a special memory box under my bed. Whenever I'm feeling sad or bored, I take them all out and look through them. It makes me happy to see all the colors and designs I created with my own two hands. One day, I'll be an artist or a creative director and make arts and crafts my career!Well, those are my top 3 favorite things - my dog Buddy, ice cream, and arts and crafts. A kid couldn't ask for anything better!I feel so lucky and grateful to have such awesome favorite thingsthat bring me so much joy. Thanks for reading all about what I love! Okay, time for me to go snuggle Buddy and eat an ice cream cone. Yum yum!篇2My Big Test AdventureHi! My name is Xiaoming and I'm in 5th grade. I just had the craziest experience and I really really need to tell someone about it. You see, a few months ago my parents signed me up to take this big important test called the Jiangxi English Test for Upgrading from Junior College to University. I know that sounds super fancy and grown-up, but they said it would be good practice for me. At first I was like "An English test? For college? But I'm just a kid!" But my parents explained it was just to challenge myself and they thought I was smart enough to try it.Well, the day of the test finally came around last week. I was sooo nervous! What if the questions were too hard? What if I failed? I had studied a bunch with my English tutor, but I was still pretty worried. The morning of the test, I could barely eat any of my congee I was so anxious. My mom kept saying "Don't worry Xiaoming, just try your best!" But that's easy for her to say - she didn't have to take the test! Finally, it was time to go to the testing center. There were kids and teenagers of all ages arriving with their parents. I stuck out like a sore thumb being so much younger than everyone else.I could feel some of the bigger kids staring at me like "What's that little kid doing here?" It made me feel small and out of place. But I just tried to keep breathing and stay calm like my English tutor taught me.The test was held in a huge auditorium with row after row of desks. A proctor gave the rules and instructions, and then suddenly it was time to begin! The first section was listening comprehension. I felt pretty good about that part since my English tutor had drilled those types of questions with me a bunch. But then came the reading section and oh man, some of those passages were super hard with all kinds of big vocabulary words I didn't know. I just tried to visualize the stories in my mind to help me understand. After what felt like an eternity, it was finally time for the writing section. I had been dreading this part. We had to write a whole essay about some philosophical quote I'd never heard before. My tutor always said this was the hardest section and I wasn't feeling too confident. I spent a few minutes organizing my thoughts, then I just decided to pretend I was writing a storyfor my little sister and imagine how I would explain the quote to her in a fun, simple way. Once I settled into that mindset, the words actually started flowing pretty well! With only the speaking section left, I was already exhausted but knew I had to give it my all. When it was my turn, I just looked the examiner right in the eye, put on a big smile, and tried to talk as clearly and naturally as I could. I figured at the very least I could charm them a little with my youthful exuberance! At the end, the examiner even said "Good job, young man!" which made me feel proud. After over 4 hours of intense mental work, the marathon test was finally over. I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders but also like I had been wrung out like a damp towel. All the other kids looked just as exhausted as they walked out with their parents. My dad gave me a huge high five and said "You did it, champ! What an impressive challenge you took on at your age!" I just smiled and said "Let's go get some ice cream - I've earned it!"A few weeks later, the results came out online. I was sooo nervous checking them, barely able to look with one eye open. But when I did...I had passed! And I actually did really well, way better than I expected. All that hard work and perseverance hadpaid off. My parents were cheering and so proud, giving me the biggest hugs. Even though it had been grueling, it was one of the greatest feelings of accomplishment I'd ever had. If they let a little kid take that huge test again next year, you bet I'll be ready to crush it!篇3My Big Dream to Go to UniversityHi there! My name is Xiaoming, and I'm a 10-year-old student in the fifth grade. I have a really big dream that I've been thinking about a lot lately – I want to go to university someday! You might be wondering why a kid my age is already thinking about university. Well, let me tell you all about it.Last year, my older cousin Xiaohua took an exam called the Jiangxi Provincial Self-Study Examination for Undergraduate Admission, which is also known as the "Zhuanshengben" exam. It's a special test that allows students who didn't go to high school to still get a chance to go to university.Xiaohua studied really hard for months, and when she passed the exam, our whole family was so proud and happy forher. She's now attending a great university in our province, and she's even planning to become a teacher one day!Seeing how hard Xiaohua worked and how excited she was to start her university journey really inspired me. I thought to myself, "If Xiaohua can do it, maybe I can too someday!"My parents have been really supportive of my dream. They always tell me that as long as I work hard in school and never give up, I can achieve anything I set my mind to.To prepare for the Zhuanshengben exam in the future, I've been trying to develop good study habits from an early age. Every day after school, I make sure to finish all my homework and review the lessons we learned in class. I also love reading books, especially ones about science and technology.Sometimes, when I'm feeling a little discouraged or overwhelmed, I remind myself of Xiaohua's story and how proud she felt when she passed the exam. That always motivates me to keep pushing forward.Who knows, maybe one day you'll see me walking across the stage at a university graduation ceremony, receiving my diploma with a big smile on my face! For now, though, I'm just taking things one step at a time. I'm going to keep studying hard, listening to my teachers, and never giving up on my goal of going to university.Wish me luck, everyone! I'll do my best to make all of you proud.篇42022 Jiangxi University Entrance Exam Essay Prompt:Some people think that going to school is just about learning reading, writing, math and other academic subjects. Others believe that developing good character and values is an equally important part of a child's education. Which view do you agree with and why? Use specific reasons and examples to support your position.Sample Essay Response:Hi! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I've been asked to write an essay sharing my thoughts on what kids should learn in school. Well, I think both the academic stuff and developing good character are really important! Let me explain why.First of all, we absolutely have to learn fundamental skills like reading, writing, math, science and all the core subjects. Thosegive us the basic knowledge and tools we need to understand how the world works and be able to function as adults one day. Just imagine how hard life would be if you couldn't read, do basic math, understand science concepts, and communicate effectively through writing? You wouldn't be able to get a good job, manage money properly, understand important issues, or really succeed at pretty much anything. So we have to master those academic basics in school. But smartypants book knowledge alone isn't enough to become a truly good person who makes good choices and has a positive impact. That's where developing strong values and character comes in. Schools should absolutely work on shaping us into kind, honest, hard-working, responsible people with solid moral principles. It's so important to learn essential values like respect, integrity, perseverance, compassion and doing the right thing. If we don't develop a moral compass and strength of character, we could end up taking the easy way out through cheating, slacking off, being mean and selfish, or even getting involved in really bad stuff like bullying, stealing, drugs or violence. Yuck!I've already learned so much about good values at my school, like always being honest even when it's hard, showingrespect to everyone, taking responsibility for my actions, and never giving up when things get tough. Memorizing times tables is useful, but developing traits like those will really help me become a good citizen and person. My teachers are always encouraging us to be upstanders against bullying, to volunteer and be kind to others, especially those less fortunate. We have awesome classroom discussions about ethical dilemmas and why qualities like empathy and courage are so important. We learn about amazing heroes and role models who showed incredible character strength, like Martin Luther King Jr., Malala Yousafzai, and athletes who embodied good sportsmanship. We even have a "Caught Being Good" program where students can get recognized for their good deeds and positive actions around the school. Just last week, I got a little award for holding the door for a teacher carrying a ton of books and saying good morning politely! Stuff like that motivates us to keep making good choices.Another big reason character education matters is because it helps create a positive, respectful school environment where everyone can learn and feel safe. If nobody got taught values and we all went around being mean, disrespectful troublemakers, our school would be a miserable place. Instead, we're developing into respectful, kind people who look out for each other. We're all like one big family!I can already see how having good values rubs off on people too. My best friend Sam used to have a bad habit of frequently interrupting and not listening well. But after we learned about showing respect through being a good listener, Sam has gotten so much better at it. Now we can actually have fluid conversations without one of us constantly getting our sentences cut off!Good character building also teaches crucial life skills like resilience, time management, and dealing with peer pressure, stress and anxiety in a healthy way. Life can be really hard sometimes, so we need a strong ethical base and coping tools to get through tough times without making poor choices that we'll regret.I'm sure some parents reading this are thinking "Well duh, of course schools need to do more than just academics!" But I've heard there's actually a lot of debate among education experts about how much emphasis should be put on character development versus core subjects. Hopefully this essay shows why we need a balanced approach. It's not an either/or situation - we need high quality academic instruction AND comprehensive character education. If we only focused on churning out kids with great test scores but horrible values like greed, bigotry and lack of ethics, we'd be in huge trouble as a society. And nobody wants to grow up or hire someone who was book smart but lacked any integrity, perseverance or ability to treat others well. That's a recipe for disaster! On the flip side, if schools somehow managed to produce really wonderful humans with amazing character but no fundamental abilities like literacy and problem solving skills, those students would constantly struggle in the real world. You need a solid moral foundation AND a strong academic base to truly thrive. So in conclusion, I believe schools have an obligation to ensure we become well-rounded, ethical individuals in addition to imparting core academic knowledge. Rigorous character education that inst篇5My Life as a Little StudentHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 7-year-old student here in Jiangxi province. School just started a few weeks ago and I'm already learning so many new things! I wanted to tell you all about my daily life and what being a primary school kid is like.Every morning, my mom wakes me up at 6:30am by gently shaking me and saying "Time to rise and shine, little one!" I groan and try to pull the covers over my head because I'm definitely not a morning person. But she insists until I finally sit up, rub my eyes, and get out of my cozy bed. I put on my school uniform - gray pants, white shirt, and red sweater vest with the school logo. After getting dressed, I head to the kitchen where mom has made me a warm breakfast of congee with pickled vegetables and an egg. She always reminds me that breakfast is the most important meal of the day for a growing kid like me. I slurp it down quickly while she packs up my lunch box with rice,stir-fried veggies, and sometimes a treat like a sesame seed ball. The best part of my morning is the 15 minute walk to school with my best friend Xiaohui. We live just a few buildings apart in the same neighborhood. He's always waiting for me outside so we can walk together, playing games along the way like seeingwho can hop from square to square without touching a line. We laugh and joke to pass the time. The first class starts at 8am sharp. We have to line up by height in the courtyard first, then the teacher leads us in doing jumping jacks and other exercises to wake us up. I never feel awake until after we've done our morning workout! Then we file inside to our classroom, a big room with rows of desks and a chalkboard at the front. My favorite subjects are math and physical education. Numbers and solving equations just make sense to my brain. And who doesn't love getting to run around and play games during PE? We get a 10 minute break in the morning and afternoon to use the bathroom and have a quick snack. At lunchtime, we get to go home for a hot meal if we live close enough or eat in the cafeteria.School ends at 3:30pm most days. I'm always starving and tired by then! Xiaohui and I meet up with his older sister Meimei in the courtyard, then walk back home together. His sister is in the 5th grade so we look up to her like a cool big kid. We tease her about having a boyfriend, which she vehemently denies.Once home, I refuel with a snack like a bowl of noodles or some fruit. Then I put my bag away and finally get to relax for alittle while. I might read a comic book, play some video games, or just plop down and watch TV shows and funny videos on my mom's smartphone until it's time for dinner. After dinner around 7pm, I have to get started on my homework. Ugh, homework is the worst part of being a student! I have worksheets to complete for Chinese, math, and sometimes other subjects. I really have to concentrate and apply myself. If I get stuck, I can ask my parents for a little help explaining things. I'm supposed to be done with homework by 8:30pm so I can get ready for bed.My bedtime routine involves taking a warm shower or bath, putting on pajamas, and brushing my teeth really well. Then I snuggle up in my soft sheets as mom reads me a storybook or tells me folktales. Sometimes I beg her to let me stay up just a little bit later, but she reminds me that growing kids need around 10 hours of sleep to have energy for school the next day. I give her a hug and kiss goodnight, then try my best to fall asleep quickly. That's a typical day for this little 2nd grade student! School keeps me pretty busy with learning, activities, homework and more. But I also get to have fun with friends, play games, read stories and just be a kid too. Being a student can be challengingfor sure, but I know I'm lucky to get a good education. I'll keep studying hard so I can achieve my dream of becoming a scientist or engineer someday! Thanks for reading about my daily life - let me know if you have any other questions!篇6My Favorite PetHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I love all kinds of animals, but my very favorite pet is my dog Rufus. He's a golden retriever and is the cutest, fluffiest, most lovable pup you'll ever meet! I'm going to tell you all about why Rufus is the best dog ever.First of all, Rufus has the most adorable face. He has a black nose that is perfectly shaped, like a doggy smiley face. His eyes are so big and brown, they just melt your heart when he looks at you with that sweet expression. And his ears are all floppy and velvety soft. I love to scratch them when we're cuddling on the couch.Rufus has the most beautiful golden fur. My mom has to brush him a lot or else his hair gets tangled up into knots. But when his coat is all sleek and shiny, he almost seems to glow inthe sunlight. He looks like a puddle of liquid gold! I like to bury my face in his fur and it's like being enveloped in a fluffy cloud.Even though Rufus seems like a perfect little angel when he's lounging around the house, he can actually be a total goofball too! He gets so excited whenever we play fetch or go for walks in the park. He'll sprint around like a maniac, chasing after balls and squirrels. His tail whips back and forth so fast, it's basically a blur. And he always has his tongue hanging out with the most hilarious doggy grin on his face.Sometimes Rufus gets a little too energetic though. Like this one time, my mom was making pancakes for breakfast. Rufus could obviously smell them cooking because he started dancing around the kitchen, wagging his tail like crazy. The next thing we knew, his tail had knocked the whole plate of pancakes right off the counter and onto the floor! We couldn't even be mad though, because Rufus looked so ashamed and guilty. He just sat there with his head hung low, giving us those big puppy dog eyes.My favorite quality about Rufus is how loving and loyal he is. Whenever I'm feeling sad or upset about something, he's always there to cuddle and cheer me up. It's like he can sense exactly when I need some extra doggy affection. He'll plop his head on my lap and gaze up at me with those soulful eyes. And if I'mcrying, he'll climb onto my bed and lick away my tears! No matter what, Rufus is always by my side when I need him.Rufus has honestly become another member of our family. He's just as important and loved as any human. I remember when we first adopted him from the animal shelter, he was just a tiny little fur ball. It was so cute watching him discover everything in our house for the first time, sniffing every corner and running around in circles until he got dizzy. Over the years, Rufus has grown so big and strong. But he'll always be my cuddly little puppy!I try to imagine what life would be like without Rufus, and it seems so empty and lonely. He brings us all so much joy, laughter and unconditional love every single day. I'm sure every dog owner feels the same way about their furry best friend. Dogs are truly heaven-sent companions that make our lives infinitely better. I hope I get to spend many more years creating cherished memories with my sweet Rufus by my side.So that's why Rufus is more than just a pet to me - he's family. He showers me with affection, cheers me up when I'm sad, and keeps me active and playing. His dorky personality cracksme up on a daily basis. And most of all, his unwavering loyalty and devotion is the purest love I've ever known. Rufus is the best dogin the whole entire world, and I'm the luckiest girl to have him as my pal!。
