A: Does your father encourage you ? In what case?

B: Yes,he does.When I was upset because of some setbacks or when I was in a bad mood because something unhappy my father would encourage me patiently.

A: Is your father an at-home dad?Explain.

B: No,I think not.My father usually work outside at daytime.So I think he is a working dad.

A: I think we should protect our old buildings because those buildings are invaluable heritage .If we demolished them we will be regret for losing it some day.

B: I don't think so.As science and technology developing,we should build more modern buildings or factories to make our society better.So sometimes it's necessary for us to demolish some old buiildings.

A: But I get so nostalgic when I walk through these old buildings,from which I get a sense of belongings. B: well,I think if we protect old buildings we will spend much time,effort and money.Besides,some activities will be limited because the existence of these old buildings.

A: In my opinions,if we don't preserve our heritage,then the next generation will can't see those things ,and can't admire its beautiful.Undoubtedly it's a huge loss for the next generation .

B: You can say that again. But only if we get out with the old ,we can invent new things and develop our society more quickly.

A: well,I agree with you.But I still think it will be better if we could reserve the old culture.

A: Nowadays,people in poor countries cannot afford to buy copyrighted materials ,yet they shouldn't be deprived of the right to entertainment and advancement.I think it's bad to strictly follow

copyright protection laws .

B: I don't agree with you.Intellectual property is an important right for the originator.

A: But I think those poor people should have access to the copyrighted materials unless it is pirated and sold on the black market.

B: I don't think it's proper to make the price of the copyrighted materials cheaper.If so ,everyone will easily get the important things they want with little cost.So the laws on Intellectual property

can protect the profit of the originator .If someone violates these laws ,they will be punished by

laws.

A: Well,but the laws will prohibit people in poor countries from getting entertainment and advancement.

Maybe prorate prices is a good things ,so that it will be cheaper to buy copyrighted materials .

B: Yeah,besides ,the problem about copyright will be remained unless there is a global mandate to ease copyright protection laws.

A: Anyway,I think we shouldn't strictly follow the copyright protection laws,so that we make more people benefited from the copyrighted materials.

B: Perhaps you are right.But the right of the owner of the intellectual property shouldn't be ignored.

Dr Wilson: Nowadays,English is spoken by more and more people.And Chinese people are also very interested in learning English very much.So I think it is necessary for us to speak English .

A: I don't agree with you .Although there are lots of people speaking English ,there are other different languages spoken by other countries,and some are speaking in the Union Nation.So I think it is not

necessary for everyone to speak English.

Dr Wilson: Now many companies will require applicants to be able to speak English and pass the CET4 or CET6.

From this point,it's a great advantage if we learn English well.And English is very fatal if we work for

a foreign company.It's also true that a graduate is more marketable if he can speak English fluently.

A: You can say that again.But in my opinion,I think that the world should be multilingual,rather than is filled with English.I think Chinese is a profound and beautiful language and we should succeed this

language and develop it .Besides ,different people have different interests in languages,you couldn't

compel them to learn a kind of language they don't like .

Dr Wilson: I agree with you on that point.In the international conferences,English is a predominant language.

and many officials speak English.In addition,English is a academic pursuit to be learned with vigor.So

I wish that the students in our class learn English well to make a contribution to the world in the future. A: Yeah,I agree with you.English has played a important role in our society,but other language is also charming and we can learn other language either.And without English,some people will also

develop themselves quickly with other different languages.
