摘要

在艾米丽.勃朗特的著名小说《呼啸山庄》中，作者通过对自然环境真实细致的描写，让读者对当地的自然风景有了充分的了解。更重要的是，小说中的自然环境描写与男女主人公的命运紧密地交织在一起，达到了情景交融的境界。本文对《呼啸山庄》中的自然环境描写进行了详细系统的分析研究，旨在证明其对于衬托反映希斯克利夫多舛命运的作用和意义。除前言和结论外，本文分为三个部分。第一章着重分析《呼啸山庄》中关于大场景的描写。第二章具体分析小说中环境描写对叙事的作用。第三章重点探讨小说中自然环境描写对人物塑造的作用。环境是形成人物性格的重要因素，希斯克利夫过分扭曲的性格便是在呼啸山庄独特的自然与社会环境中形成的。总之，《呼啸山庄》中的自然环境描写并不仅仅是为小说提供人物活动的背景，其最主要的作用和意义在于将周围的环境和希斯克利夫的扭曲性格结合起来。另外，环境描写在烘托气氛和反映人物的内心世界方面也起到了丰常重要的作用。

abstract

In Emily Bronte's famous novel Wuthering Heights, the author through the real and detailed description of the natural environment, let the reader have a full understanding of the local natural scenery. More importantly, the natural environment description in novel is closely intertwined with the fate of the hero and heroine, attaining the state of the scene. A detailed analysis and research has carried on which based on the natural environment description in wuthering heights , aims to prove its function and meaning to reflect Heathcliff’s fate.Except the introduction and conclusion, this article is divided into three parts. The first chapter focuses on analysing the big scenes in wuthering heights. The second chapter analysis environment description on the function of narrative in the novel. The third chapter discusses the natural environment how to influence the characterization of the role. Environment is an important factor to form character.In a word, the natural environment description in Wuthering Heights is not just to provide a background, but also explain the reason of Heathcliff’s character .In addition, the environmental also played an important role in foiling atmosphere and reflects the inner world of the characters.
