近年来，在各地的中考中，对名词的考查是考试的重点。对名词的考查主要集中在考查名词数的变化，特别是不规则变化的名词的复数形式、可数名词不可数名词的区分、不可数名词及名词所有格的运用。由此可以预测分辨可数名词和不可数名词、不可数名词量的表达、名词所有格的构成及运用，这些仍是主要考点。并且题型多以单项选择题的形式出现。
