今年的政府工作报告中提出,“我们要发展人民满意的教育,以教育现代化支撑国家现代化,使更多孩子成就梦想、更多家庭实现希望。


对此,全国政协委员、新东方教育科技集团董事长俞敏洪接受媒体采访时说,“从事教育这么多年,我感觉现在中国教育最大的问题是家庭教育。

发展人民满意的教育,家庭教育的作用不容忽视。

家庭是最重要的社会单元,父母是孩子的第一任老师,家庭教育的好坏影响着孩子一生的幸福和发展。


全国人大代表、全国优秀教师高阿莉也同样倡议,“买‘天价学区房’,不如改善家庭教育品质,父母是孩子的第一任老师,家庭教育在帮助孩子‘扣好人生的第一粒扣子’中的地位举足轻重。


教育界元老们的倡议,得到了主流媒体的纷纷响应。

其实,早在此次明确倡议、大举探讨之前,家庭教育就已经处在中国教育的“风口浪尖”:据中国科学院心理研究所专家对北京1800多名家长近3年的跟踪调查结果显示,三分之二的家庭存在家庭教育缺失的问题。

这与西方教育,尤其是英国教育形成了强烈的对比:在英国,是家庭教育催生了近代初等学校教育;而且在很长一段时间内,教育机构,如修道院、各类学校等,都是作为家庭教育的补充和替代方式存在的。

大量指导父母进行家庭教育的书籍,早在17世纪就已纷纷涌现,如夸美纽斯的《母育学校》,笛福的《家庭指导者》和《新家庭指导者》,高芝的《论家庭的职责》,以及一些加尔文神学的教义回答手册等。

这极大地提高了家庭教育的质量,促进了家庭教育职能的履行。

不仅如此,英国社会对家庭教育的认识也很透彻、超前:
1628年,国教徒约翰·厄尔利提出:孩子的灵魂是一张“白纸”,尚未受到世俗的污染,他不知邪恶。

约翰·洛克更进一步阐述了“白纸”说:他肯定了家庭家庭教育对子女的影响,在他看来,即使不完全的家庭教育也要比在学校中所获得的知识和技能有用得多。

英国家庭教育的悠久传统对英国教育产生了深远影响:在BBC出品的英国天线宝宝早教中,就将“家庭式教学”作为主要教育方法引入教学体系之中,鼓励家长参与到孩子的早教课堂中来,让家长跟孩子一起做游戏,加深对孩子心理的把握和了解,并学习如何陪伴孩子、如何教孩子规矩的正确方法。

在中国,“家庭教育”的积极作用并未完全发挥,原因就在于家庭教育没有得到应有的
重视。

如今,有当代教育家以及“英国天线宝宝早教”等早教从业者的呼吁和努力,中国家长的意识已经慢慢觉醒,因此,越来越多的孩子将在健康、民主、理智、有序的家庭氛围中成长、从优质的家庭教育中获益。
