This is my Alma mater, and it was a famous academy which named Ziyang academy(紫阳 书院) built in Ming dynasty. It’s said that the famous people Zhuxi（朱熹） had ever given lectures here. The building in the first picture named Sanyuanfang（三元坊） . And it’s the only one of the Memorial Gateway（牌坊） to celebrate students get good grades in china. return
This kind of architectural structure is called Tianjing（天 井）. And it’s the Essential part in traditional house.
There is a special meaning that the rain collect together means money and treasures will be plentiful .
Hong village(宏村)
This Scenic spots which is beautiful as in the picture is called Xinanjiang Landscape Gallery(新 安江山水画廊). You can take a boat to look through the scene on both sides of the river. In my opinion, the most beautiful scene is the Rape flowers(油菜花) All over the mountains and plains in summer.

Stone carving Carving art has a long history and origins long in Huizhou. And people usually carve bat, deer and peach which means blessing, career and Longevity. return

This structure in the architecture named Matouqiang（马头 墙）. It was first used in Ming dynasty, after about five hundreds year, this structure still in common used in building. This structure was designed to avoid fire. People usually used wood to build house in old time. And the house density is so high in Huizhou area. If one of the house was fired, it can prevent fire affecting others.

Paying attention to children‘s education is normal in my hometown. Since the Song Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, there are hundreds of private school （私塾）were builded. People live together according to Blood relationship. And in every family, each child is enabled to have class in their own private school.
Huashanmiku（花山谜窟） a total of 36 caves, is now the largest scale, the mystery Chinese has found the most, the largest area of ancient stone cave sites. In the cave stalactites（钟乳石） are older than 1700, so the Grottoes in the evening when the Jin Dynasty, but the specific time digging and use is still a mystery, it is called "the mystery cave".
