One of the greatest presidents of the US 100 most influential figures in history of US 100 famous people who influence the course of human history
Lent war of independent（1775-1783）
In July 3rd 1775, Washington took the commander of the whole colonial army in Cambridge of Massachusetts, and lent federal soldiers fighting with colonists. In 1783, Great Britain recognized the independent of US with the signing of Treaty of Paris.
In April 4th 1797, Washington peaceable handed presidency over to John Adams, and every president follow this rule with his exemplary role.
In Sept. 17th 1796,Washington made a famous speech, Farewell Speech.
