海报由标题、正文、出海报的单位构成，形式比较灵活，往往以通告的形式张贴在公共场所。
[格式]1. 单位英文海报的张贴单位应标在右下角。
2. 标题居中标在海报的正上方，用简洁、引人注目的语言概括海报的主要内容。
3. 正文海报正文没有硬性规定的格式，可以根据海报内容灵活选择。
[注意事项]1. 海报的标题必须简洁明了，而且能吸引读者的眼球。
2. 张贴海报的目的是让读者了解活动的信息，所以文字的修饰要服务于信息，不能玩文字游戏，让读者摸不着头脑。

. 发文单位（靠右）发文时间（靠右，与发文单位对称）二、从具体内容来看：1、标题的写作：可以直接拟定为“海报”，亦可以直接书写活动内容，如“研讨会”“学术报告会”，也可以在在活动内容前加上举办单位名称，如“中国作家协会举办丁玲作品研讨会”。
2、正文的写作：因为海报具有宣传性质，所以正文的书写思路可以遵循宣传类的作答思路，即正文=发文事由+主要内容+结尾。
在发文事由中逐项列出活动的时间、地点、主题及事由。
在主要内容中需体现活动内容内容、参与方式和注意事项等，在结尾处语言要有号召力。
为增强吸引力，一般语言上具有一定的激励性和鼓舞性。
3、发文单位和发文日期的写作：写明主办单位和举办单位，署名下一行写明日期。

如何写英语海报
如何写海报一、审题英语海报属于应用文,可分为招聘广告, 活动宣传, 人物介绍等。
常用一般现在时和一般将来时。
海报语言要简明扼要, 形式要新颖美观; 多用省略句, 缩略语及类似的语言起到醒目的效果。
二、写作关键1.作文时表达要符合海报的特点，开门见山，直奔主题。
2.正确使用人称、时态和语态，文中应该用第三人称，邀请性的语句用第二人称；时态为现在时态，多为一般现在时。
3.海报一定要具体真实地写明活动的地点、时间及主要内容。
4.注意海报的语言特征。
文中可以用些鼓动性的词语，但不可夸大实事；海报文字要求简洁明了，篇幅要短小精悍。
三、谋篇布局海报一般由标题、正文和落款三部分组成。
1.标题海报的标题写法较多，可单独在第一行中间写上“poster”字样；可直接用活动的内容做题目，如“Basketball Match”；也可用一些描述性的文字，如“There will be an exciting football match!”、“Welcome to Baishan Mountain Hotel!”等。
2.正文海报的正文部分要用简洁的文字写清楚活动的目的和意义，活动的主要项目、时间、地点等，参加的具体方法及一些必要的注意事项等。
正文要点1：介绍活动的名称、时间、地点、举办者、目的等。
