M: My name is Joe. I was always sick as a kid and I hated doing sports. I would rather do anything than exercise. If you told my childhood friends that I am now a lover of running, no one would believe you. But something in me started to change
when I got into university. During my first week, I didn’t know anything so I was alone all the time. That’s when I realized that running is a great way to make friends and kill time when you’re alone, and there’s nothing better than a g ood run to clear your head when things get stressful. It’s never too late to start getting into running and exercising —after all, as the saying goes, “everything is possible”.

Make sure you are running the right amount that your heart, muscles and bones can take without getting hurt. Second, keep running. Running trains your mind as well as your body. There will be times when you want to give up. But hang in there and tell yourself that it will get easier with time. Nothing gives one more satisfaction than realizing that all the sweat and worth it in the end. Third, don’t overdo it.
