Step 1 Lead-in

1. Say something about art.

2. Summarize what is art.

Step 2 Warming Up

Work in pairs and discuss the questions in Warming Up. And then check the answers.

Step 3 Pre-reading

1. Do you ever visit art galleries? What kind of paintings have you seen in galleries?

2. in pairs list some famous Western artists and paintings. If you can, please introduce them to the

class.

Step 4 Read ing

2. Read the text carefully aga in and an swer the questi ons.
