A big Japanese firm that's already beset by scandal over defects in its vehicles says it's recalling another 450,000 trucks and buses. Last month, the company Mitsubishi admitted it had known of defects for several years but suppressed the information. It then announced that it was recalling 170,000 vehicles. The company was alleged to have secretly repaired some of the now 159 different faults. An international conference has opened in Paris, aimed at dealing with extremists who use the Internet to spread messages of hate.
