PTFE微粉分子量一般为常用高分子量的PTFE的百分之一，不仅保持了PTFE原有的优异性能，而且还具有结晶度高，分散性好、易于与其他材料均匀混合等优点，广泛应用于合成材料的共混改性，可以明显提高基材的润滑性、耐磨性、不粘性和阻燃性，此外还可以作为润滑油、印刷油墨、涂料等的添加剂。

The molecular weight of Ultra-fine powder of PTFE is only 1% of the general PTFE which not only maintained the excellent performance of the original, but also has high crystallinity dispersion, and easy to uniformly mixed with other materials. It is widely used in the synthesis material modification, and can significantly improve the lubricity, wear resistance, non-adhesive and fire retardant of the substrate. It also can be used as lubricants, printing inks, coatings and other additives.

It is reported that in the world market almost all the engineering plastics with improved lubrication properties are mixed with the Ultra-fine powder of PTFE. For example, adding 5%-15% of Ultra-fine powder of PTFE, the parts made from polyamide (PA), polyacetal (POM), polycarbonate (PC), propene poylymer (PP),polyethylene terephthalate (PET), Polyethylene terephthalate succinic ester (PBT) ,acrylonitrile - butadiene - styrene copolymer (ABS), and other high performance engineering resin can significantly improve their wear, friction and viscous sliding properties etc., which can be used to make gears, bearings and pulleys, and can also be used to take the place of lubricant metal components in order to reduce the weight of workpiece and maintenance costs.
PTFE微粉可提高橡胶表面性能和体积性能，如在有机硅橡胶、氟橡胶、三元乙丙橡胶和聚氯丁二烯等中加入5%（质量分数）的PTFE微粉，可以提高主体聚合物的摩擦性能、磨损性能和脱模行为，提高橡胶的破碎强度，而橡胶的弹性行为无明显破坏，这就可以减少橡胶在脱模过程中造成的撕裂现象。

polychloroprene can improve the friction properties, wear properties and stripping behavior, crushing strength of rubber (rubber elastic behavior without apparent damage), which can reduce tearing rate when the rubber in the ejection process.
