了解有机膨润土的制备方法及其在涂料中的应用有机膨润土是指用有机铵阳离子置换蒙脱石中的可交换阳离子，使其覆盖于蒙脱石的表面，堵塞了水的吸附中心，使其失去吸水的作用，变成疏水亲油的有机膨润土络合物，具有优良的分散、膨胀、吸附、黏结和触变等特性，是涂料领域紧要的功能性添加剂。

01有机膨润土的制备方法及影响因素目前，有机膨润土的制备方法重要分为：湿法、干法和预凝胶法。
（1）湿法制浆：将膨润土加水充分分散，并除去沙粒和杂质。
为使膨润土很好分散，可边加料，边搅拌，同时加入分散剂。
提纯：如原土纯度不够，要进行提纯。
改型或活化：为提高原土的阳离子交换容量，对于钙基膨润土和阳离子交换容量较低的钠基膨润土，必需首先进行改型处理。
为了加强膨润土与有机覆盖剂的作用，在覆盖之前，一般用无机酸或氢离子交换树脂对膨润土进行活化预处理。
有机覆盖：将矿浆加热到38—80℃，在不断搅拌下，缓缓加入有机覆盖剂，再连续搅拌30—60min，使其充分反应。
反应完毕，停止加热和搅拌，将悬浮液洗涤过滤、干燥和打散解聚，即得有机膨润土产品。
（2）干法将含水量20%—30%的精选钠基膨润土与有机覆盖剂直接混合，用专门的加热混合器混合均匀，再加以挤压，制成含有肯定水分的有机膨润土。
可将该含水有机膨润土进一步干燥和打散解聚为粉状产品，也可以将其直接分散于有机溶剂中，制成凝胶或乳胶体产品。
（3）预凝胶法将粉碎后的原土进行分散制浆、改型提纯，然后进行有机覆盖。
在有机覆盖过程中，加入疏水有机溶剂（如矿物油），将疏水的有机膨润土复合物萃取进入有机相，分别出水相，再蒸发除去残留水分，直接制成膨润土预凝胶。
（4）有机膨润土质量影响因素影响有机膨润土质量的重要因素有膨润土的质量（类型、纯度、交换容量等），有机覆盖剂的结构、用量、用法，制备工艺条件（矿浆浓度、反应温度、反应时间等）。

2、增稠作用：膨润土在水中形成絮状物质， 具有增稠作用，它的分子基团能与涂料中 的有机基料结合，能增 强涂层的耐水性， 提高涂层的强度和附着力。
