Andy used to be a banker, but was sent to the Shawshank Prison in the United States for convicted of murdering his wife. He has a steady faith, he decided to leave the prison at the beginning. In the face of such environment, he did not degrade himself. He made friends with a black man, established the library in prison, and played the wonderful music for prisoners. The Shawshank was the darkest prison, the warden let Andy help doing money laundering. In spite of this, Andy never give up. He finally dug a hole with a small hammer, escaped from prison successfully. He accomplished redemption himself.
